What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

"The ARCloner stands for Augmented Reality Cloner. I like to call it the ARC, if only because both names is a mouthful. It's an extremely old program, one I believe that has ties to the first computer. Which is a problem, since the Digital World has ties to that too."

Santa Venusmon smirks, and puts a hand on her hip. "Finally, an easy question! I would basically assume they get sent home. The Digital World and the ARC are calling and dismissing you all randomly, both of them are in a bit of a panic. You guys stand as the best chance of destroying, saving, or confining either the Digital World or the ARC." Her face drops a bit when she realized "And I know that stopping the collapse of the worlds would involve stopping, controlling, or confining the ARC, much like a certain Red blob that threatened another Digital World."

She grimmances at that last question. "Hmmm. I don't think I can really answer this last question. If only because I do not know which Sakuyamon you speak of and because I do not want to unduly affect you decisions. Titamon is an engima, one unlike any other I have seen. Lotusmon, essentially worked for an old friend of mine, one that cared a lot about justice."

[fuhrinkaed]

Ed nods quickly in response to the answers. "Thanks for that... Um. I have a few more questions, but... the first one..."

"...If Lotusmon cared so much about justice, why did she try to kill us three times?"

Someone had to ask.

"I never said Lotusmon cared about justice. Lotusmon was and still is enamored with her Queen and her wishes. Or at least how she perceived them."

Quickly she adds on. "And yes, her Queen and the one she was currently working for, are two different people."

"Okay then... So this... ARC." Ed shook his head, he'd somehow guessed the name right--why did he have to be right about this stuff? "You said that in order to save everything, we just have to stop, control or confine it. What would that actually entail? I mean... is it a sentient program? IS it just a non-sentient red blob of terror? Can we reason with it?"

"The ARC is trying to remake the world, so it must be...but is it sentient to the point of understanding our viewpoint or is just that it can direct it's action, is a bit of an unknown. This is part of the reason I have not been able to introduce myself to you all yet, I have been searching for the answer to those questions, getting help, and much more. I am terribly sorry about that."

[fuhrinkaed]

"...Remake the world?"

Ed tilts his head to the side, putting a hand to his chin. "Why would it be doing something like that? How? Is it related to mashing everything together to like... unmake everything and then remake it in a new big bang or something?"

Venusmon shrugged her shoulders offering an apologetic grin. "I would hope it's not ...but that is the most likely possibility for both things."

[fuhrinkaed]

'Man, I really, really hate being right.'

"I see... Thanks." He nods once, then again, then a third time before smiling widely. "A-anyways, I should introduce myself. My name's Ed. My partners are Guilmon and Ryudamon... and... Oh! I'm a magician at home. Do you know if it's possible to regain that magical power? If I had it, then... well, I'd be able to get a lot done."

"Nice to meet you Ed. Tell your partners I said hi."

"Apparently it has something to do with being an area that is pure Digital World or pure Human World."

[fuhrinkaed]

"I will!"

Ed then turns his attention back to the task at hand. "So right now we're in a mix of the two... but if we were in the pure digital world, or the pure human world then stuff would work fine." He thinks for a moment. "...Would it be possible to set up some kind of field that like... undoes the influence of the one on the other? If that was the case, we might be able to work magic here."

"It might be. I would have no idea how you guys would go about it, but it would be worth looking into."

[fuhrinkaed]

"I know a bunch of really smart people... I'll get them on it right away. Thanks for the idea."

"You're welcome Ed. Have a nice day!"

With that Venusmon takes her leave. So much to do today.
