What: The giving of the D-Streams

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

"Sweet!" Rainbow took that same moment Kit did to look through her bag and pulled out the present she had marked for the younger girl, grinning at the design of Kit's gift before making the exchange. Upon opening it, she took a moment to smell how good the bread would taste before taking a few bites.

"Hehe, wow! That is delicious! Here's yours, but you can't eat it; you'll be able to wear it on snowy nights like tonight so the cold air can't get in your face!"

The fruit bread definitely smelled good, if slightly different than how it would have back in Thundara, thanks to the necessity of substituting a few of the ingredients for ones that actually existed locally. Lightly sweet and fruity, without the heaviness that a cake might have.

Kit grinned as Rainbow handed over her own present, quickly opening it and finding... a light blue scarf and a pair of goggles. The grin only broadened and she giggles a little, pulling down the hood of her blanket-cape so that she could put the scarf around her neck properly and put the goggles on her head, adding a bit of Takato to her mismatched look. "They're great, Rainbow!", she said, stepping forward to give the former pegasus a big hug. "Thanks!"

Rainbow was about 1/2way through with the fruit bread before taking a few moments to watch Kit open her present. She grinned excitedly at seeing how well the scarf and goggles fit her, impressed that Kit just left them on her head like a fashion statement. She giggles lightly at the hug, returning it in kind while holding onto the bread so it wouldn't go flying.

"Hehe, glad you like 'em Kit! Gonna go around like that all the time now?" Not that she has an opinion, just that Rainbow's hoping to get a picture with her and Kit later on with the younger girl sporting her new look.

Kit grinned and stepped back from the hug. "Hmm, maybe!", she replied. "Least til the weather starts to warm up again; I won't need the scarf and stuff then." Kit adjusted the goggles, as they'd been knocked slightly askew during the hug.

Rainbow nods in agreement concerning the weather, since at heart even though she was a human the wings were a silent reminder that she was also a weather pony. "Heh, of course not! We'll have to find Fluttershy and a few more of our friends later to remember this night."

Kit nodded in agreement with Rainbow Dash. "Yeah," she said. "Plus I've still got a bunch of fruit bread to give out to people." She indicated the wagon's contents.

"And then we need to hit that feast!", she added, indicated the tables laden with delicious-looking food.

"Hehehe, sweet! Pretty sure your bread's much better than whatever's cooked at the feast." Rainbow looks toward the food with a grin before ruffling Kit's hair for a while.

"Meet you back here after you've given away the Christmas bread?"

Kit giggled. "Well, I dunno about that," she said, "but it's definitely good."

"OK, that sounds like a plan!", she said. "See you again in a little while, OK?"
