Merry Christmas, Chosen...

Who: Venusmon, everyone
What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

[Mikey heard Duo and he perked up, looking at him with a big smile. He glances the way the boy's pointing before looking back at him.]

No, not yet, but there's plenty I still haven't tried.

Merry Christmas, by the way.
alive_through_luck: (A church?)

Hee! Thank you! /o/

... Merry Christmas to you too. But you should really try those fruit things. They're good.

[Duo grabs for something else, though, since the fruit were just out of reach. Also, it's something new.]

What were you doing in this white stuff earlier? I saw you rolling around in it...
hot_nunchaku_fury: (How sweet)

Of course <3

Mmm I will then, since they come so highly recommended.

[The teen shifts around to Duo's other side to grab two, one for himself and one for the boy.]

The snow? I was playing in it! I've never had the chance to see snow like that. Growing up we only got to see what drifted down through the sewer grate before it melted.
alive_through_luck: (Made it this far through luck.)

[Duo takes the offered food with a quiet "thanks", and holds it in his free hand. He takes a bite of the new food and listens, his eyes glancing at the snow before returning back to Mikey.]

Never seen it before.

[After all, it's hard to regulate weather on a colony.]

You've never seen snow before?

[His question was curious rather than incredulous. He hadn't ever thought that some kids might not have ever seen snow. At least he'd seen a little growing up.]

It's kind of... just fun to play in for a little bit, even if you get cold. You can do things like build snow men or... [He was about to mention snow ball fights but Duo had said he didn't like fighting.] you could make a snow fort. It doesn't last, but it's fun to play around in.
alive_through_luck: (I'm suppose to beg now.)

Hard to get snow on the colonies, ya know?

[He says this as though it's common knowledge, and then takes a bite of his snacks.]

How do you build a snowman?
