Who: Venusmon, everyone
What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

Fluttershy smiled. "I'm glad you like it..."

Meanwhile, Choco pulled out a bag full of cookies, offering it to Emerick. "Here! You get something too!"

Emerick hopped off the wagon and happily trotted over to receive the cookies from Choco. "Hey, thanks! Kit made me a special loaf of fruit bread back home, but it's nice to get presents from somebody else."

"Yep," Kit said, grinning as she hugged her new Salamon pillow and put it in the wagon. "And cookies are always a good present."

"Yeah, cookies are always an awesome present! Especially these, because they're really tasty!"

"What kind of cookies are they?", asked Emerick, trying to determine the answer from looks alone.

"Well, they're chocolate chip. But they've also got red and green sprinkles."

[alley_kit]

Emerick grinned. "Cause everything's better with sprinkles, right?", she said.

Choco grinned back. "'course...! The more sugar, the better."

"Definitely," both Kit and Emerick said at once, then giggled.

"Too bad there's no candy fruit trees around here," Kit said. "Now there's something sugary for ya! And they're actually good for you too, which makes them basically just about the best fruit ever." Not to mention the added bonus of brief, sugar-induced super-speed, but that required a lot of fruit to achieve.

"Candy fruit trees?" Choco asked, with big eyes. "That sounds really good!"

"They are!", Kit assured Choco. "The Berbils grow them, but you can find smaller groves of them growing wild in some places too."

"Cool! What kinda candy do the trees grow?"

[alley_kit]

"They don't grow candy, they grow candyfruit," Kit explained. "They're about this big," she measured the approximate size of a soccer ball with her hands, "round, and have stripes. They come in a couple different colors, but all the colors tastes the same, from what I can tell."

"But the important thing is that they're delicious." Kit nodded firmly because obviously that was the most important thing. "And they grow back a couple weeks after they're picked, so if you have enough trees, like the Berbils do, you can basically never run out!"

"Wow! That's awesome!"

"Yeah, it is!", Kit said. "And if you eat enough of it, you can move super fast for a little while!" She paused. "Well, my brother and I can anyway; I dunno if that works for everybody or not. Besides, that takes a lot of fruit to make work."

Choco laughs a little. "I can do that if I get enough sugar..."



Sprout rolls her eyes. "A sugar rush doesn't count."

Kit giggled a bit too. "I think that's how it works with candy fruit too," she said. "But I think there's something special about candy fruit that makes it happen more than it normally would."

"Oh yeah? Sounds tasty!"

[alley_kit]

"It is!", Kit grinned. "If I ever find any in this world, I'll be sure and let you all know, so you can try them too."

"Right now though, I've got more fruit bread to give out." She indicated the tagged loaves still waiting in the wagon. Thanks again for the pillow."

"And the cookies!", Emmy chimed in.

"Ah, okay...I won't keep you then. Thank you for the fruit bread.."

"Happy holidays!"

"Happy Holidays!", Kit and Emmy said together before waving goodby and heading off to deliver more gifts and cheer.
