Merry Christmas, Chosen...

Who: Venusmon, everyone
What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

Washington sighs. Between the Digimon and Hollyleaf, he knows he can't really win. Not that it'd be actually winning. "Of course I do."

He holds his hands out, ready to accept whatever she's planning to give him.

From her bag, Hollyleaf removes a small bunch of chamomile flowers and places them in Washington's outstretched hand.

"I don't know if the work the same on humans, but it's chamomile. Cats use it as a traveling herb, to strengthen the heart and the mind."

Washington takes the herb, a bit surprised at the gift. "Honestly, I don't know either, but it's a very kind gift. Very thoughtful. And I do appreciate it."

Coronamon chuckles at the description of what it's good for. "I'm sure Wash could use that. Everyone can at some point... But he's had some points when he really needed it."

"I have too," she admits graciously. Hollyleaf can see the need to save face, if Washington wants to take it. "If it doesn't work like I'm used to...the scent is nice, at least. These sorts of celebrations are completely new to me, so I don't know what sorts of...gifts humans appreciate."

Washington pauses to think it over. "It really depends on the person giving the gift. There's no wrong way to do these things. And I do appreciate it very much."

"I guess that's not too different from cats," Hollyleaf comments. "More I get to know humans... Well, either way, I don't understand why you'd want to celebrate something in leaf-bare, but this is a nice distraction."

Washington pauses to think it over very carefully. "I suspect that a distraction is the whole purpose of the holiday. In the dead of winter, back in the times it originated, they probably didn't have that much to do with themselves. It'd be very quiet..."

"Another one of you explained that to me before," Hollyleaf says. "A few days ago. But it's still so odd to me, after how life was back home."
