Who: Venusmon, everyone
What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

[The teen looked taken aback as he stared at the offered gift. He wasn't expecting one form a guy he just met. Still he took it and un-did the ribbon, finding the sketches.]

Whoa... these are great! Arte you gotta see this. [He bent down, being mindful of his leg, to hand his partner the sketches as he looked at the notes.]

Wow... he really drew me well.

[The teen smiled at her before continuing reading. These notes were... really well detailed. He wasn't a monkey expert, but he knew about the biology and such things about them.]

Whoa... these notes are really good. [He looked at Martin, actually looking a little enthusiastic] Are you and that other guy biologists? Because wow, these are better than anything I found in those old textbooks my sensei found me!

[He grinned at the praise, more pleased than anything that Donnie and his partner seemed to like the gift. He can't help but chuckle at Donnie's question; enthusiasm is infectious with him.]

Hah'you mean my brother, Chris? He's a biologist. I'm actually a zoologist. H'but we're both creature adventurers.

[Because darned if that isn't what they actually put on their resumes.]

We travel all over the world, exploring all kinds of different wildlife habitats, so we can learn as much as we can about the creatures that live there. H'there's nothing quite like observing and experiencing how the animals we study survive first-hand.

[Honestly, he's kinda been missing it from time to time, but then again, being here is sort of like one big extended creature adventure.

He raises an eyebrow curiously.]

You interested in creature studies?

Well yeah, kinda. I'm into any kind of scientific studies in general actually. I'm more of an engineer than a biologist, but I still know a lot. Mainly on turtle biology, since I used to be one and all. A mutant one, but a turtle.

[Funny how he was perfectly fine with telling people about this in recent days.]

Oho, man, you'd probably have a blast talking to our friend, Aviva. She's an inventor, and one of the best! She made a lot of the gadgets me and Chris use back home on our creature adventures.

[He grins...and then does a small double-take.]

...Did you say a mutant turtle?

[He's pretty sure Donnie's being completely serious with him on that. Although then again, the phrase "mutant turtle" brings up...well, slightly less than pleasant mental images.]
