Merry Christmas, Chosen...

Who: Venusmon, everyone
What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

"...I fell asleep too. I was, uh...putting presents at people's doors." He blushed and ducked his mouth and nose behind his scarf. His cheeks turned pink, but that could easily be from the cold, right? He wondered if Kit ever found her gift and was just about to ask before a napkin was held out to him.

He took the loaf and smiled behind his scarf at the tag with the drawing on it. It was a little childish, but that still meant it was his. He had so few things that he could call his and this was one of them.

"Thanks, Kit. And...I dunno what Rammadan is, but merry Christmas."

"Rammastide," Kit corrected gently. "And thanks."

"Oh. and I got your present, by the way," Kit said. "It's back at home, though, since I didn't want to lose anything out of it. I'm gonna make the bell into a necklace, I think, but then I'm gonna give the rest of the yarn to Fluttershy; I don't know how to knit or anything, and she does. The cocoa looks like it'll be really tasty, though, so thanks!"

"And speaking of tasty," Kit said, "have you hit up the feast tables yet? I know I'm going to in a little bit."

Ah, she got it! He was a little put out because he thought cats liked balls of yarn, but maybe the kind of cat Kit was didn’t like it? He simply nodded, though. It was her present now, and she was keeping the bell and cocoa, so it wasn’t all bad! He smiled, glad she liked the few things she did before she asked about the table.

A faint blush took to his cheeks as he pulled an apple-looking fruit from his pocket. He tilted it in such a way that no one but Kit would notice it. He didn’t know if he was allowed to just...flat out take stuff like that, so he made sure to hide it. Just in case.

Sadly for Duo, Thundercats aren't quite that easily entertained, but the thought was appreciated, regardless.

And Kit kind of grins at the way Duo hides the fruit. She'd snatched enough fruit in her time to realize why. "It's OK, you know," Kit said. "Venusmon said we should 'eat, drink, and be merry', and that means you don't have to sneak food. It's free for everybody."

"Besides," Kit added with exaggerated innocence, "there's a ton of food here to eat, and we don't want it to go to waste, now do we?" There was a glint of mischief in her eyes, though, that said she planned to take full advantage of the free feast fairly soon.

He flushed red at the slight admonition. He wasn't sure if he could just take it or not. So he took a few pieces of whatever and stuffed them in his pockets. He kind of missed the memo.

But with that sneaky look of Kit's, Duo was instantly smirking. "How much you think we can scarf and pocket. We're not letting it go to waste if we have as much as we want and then keep some for later, right?"

Kit smirked right back. "I bet I can eat a lot, at least," Kit said. "Me and Kat always knew how to make the most of free food. Especially wanna try as much of the meat as I can, since that's kind messy to take with you unless you have a bag or a box or something to put it in."

"But there's lots of things we can take," she said. "Like bread and fruit and cookies and stuff."

Duo giggled and he leaned in a very conspiring way. He whispered, holding a hand up to hide his lips from the view of anyone close by.

"How 'bout in an hour we go back to the rooms and we can show off how much stuff we knicked off the table?" Street kids will be street kids, and Duo was no different.

Kit giggled a bit too. "Make it two hours and I'll be there," she said, equally conspiratorially. "Would be sooner, but I still have some fruit bread to give people."

She indicated the remaining loaves of fruit bread that had tags on them. If she couldn't find everyone at the party, she'd give it to them later, but it was nice and fresh now, and she wanted to make sure as many of her friends as possible got theirs today.

Two hours? That was plenty of time for Duo to stuff his pockets! He just smiled, nodding his agreement.

"Okay! Two hours and we'll go...to your room? Or we can just go hide in the cafeteria where no one will find us!"

"My room'll be better," Kit said. "I don't have a roommate so we'll be by ourselves. Well, 'cept for our Digimon, but I don't think they'll tell anybody." She giggled a little. This was gonna be fun!
