What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning

At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.

They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.

[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

The dead coming back to life. Well, that sounds. Kind of familiar, but not enough to get Whirl to show any of that on his face. So uh... have another head pat.

"Then uh, good you're here."

What do you even say to that, for once Whirl uses what little tact he has to not be a complete asshole.

"Maybe," Sophia says, thinking Whirl completely understands, "my mommy will come here too. And everyone else I like. I know the world doesn't work that way, but I'd really like it."

She stands up on her tip-toes, like nuzzling into the head pat.

Okay the.. leaning into the head patting is weird, so Whirl is going to stop now. Doing that. And Whirl, kind of understands. A part of him, a small tiny shriveled up part of him, misses home. Although he'd never wish being hu--

No he would wish being here and being human on a lot of people back home, but he'll keep that thought to himself.

"It might not, but it doesn't mean you should let it bug you," He says, grinning now. "If the world frikking sucks you do everything you can to spite the slagger."

A+ life advice from Whirl.

Sophia's mouth forms into a little 'o' and she slowly nods in understanding. A moment later, however, she frowns. "I don't wanna make anything worse, though... 'Specially if it's already bad enough."

Commandramon, for one, is grateful that his little girl seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

"... Doubt a little guy like you could do much more damage then what's already happened," It's said a bit absently, but Whirl actually seems a bit.

Serious. Whoops.

"It could always get worse," Sophia replies, soft but also matter-of-fact.

He shrugs, honestly if this is the worst it gets? This is easy street, but he's not going to say that.

"Well, it probably won't." A pause then. "Eh, shouldn't you be going and having fun now? Instead of hanging with someone like me?"

Sophia raises up her head and smiles brightly. "You are fun! We could play games together, if you aren't too tired. ...You looked tired before," she adds, as if Whirl didn't already know.

"Huh?" Whirl actually looks confused at the mention of being tired, has he looked like that? Normally he'd just rest when he felt like it, so very little, but that's as a giant ass robot thing without a face. So that probably stopped anyone from noticing tiredness.

Damn, somedays he hated having a face. "Nah, I'm not really a games kinda person. S'all."

"I can teach you sometime. I guess robots don't have the same kinda games, huh? We could color or play tag or pretend."

Sophia's well-aware that right now playing might not work, but she's already making plans for later, isn't she?

"Oh, well."

Awkward, because Whirl's idea of fun is so far away from what Sophia is talking about.

"We can do that later, sure."

[justpretending]

Sophia grins in response. "I'm gonna go find someone to play with then. Merry Christmas, Whirl, I hope you get lots and lots of presents!"

"... You too, kiddo." He gives a lopsided smile of his own, and once Sophia has gone off to have fun.

Jetstream goes 'Awww' which earns the Impmon a prompt asskicking from Whirl.
