What: Beemon Invasion
When: 24-26 of April 2013
Where: All over Terminal Tokyo
Just as Ryou predicted it was only several hours later that the first wave of Beemon made their appearance. None of the various types of Beemon seem to even blink if they're attacked. Their first and only objective seems to be to lay ruin to the city and everything in it. At first any attacks will be ignored, but if someone proceeds to continue and attack them the Beemon will attack.
They're difficult to beat, regardless of level. The FanBeemon may need two people working together even at Champion level. Each Digimon are much more difficult to defeat solo than they would be normally. One thing should easily be certain before the first night is out-- if you want the city to survive then you're going to need to work together.]

So here's how this will work guys-- unless you need a Digimon for various reasons: playing out the first Digivolution, Dark Digivolutions, or a general battle they will be played by you. You may request a modded NPC as per usual, but depending on the number/duties you may be turned down (we'll do our best, though). Keep in mind your character will <b>not</b> have an easy win on their own and that humans will be virtually ineffective. Your character may get a few good whacks in on a rookie level Beemon, but that won't be so effective later.
NPC Chosen will also be out and around the areas to help you as needed, so you can tag them!
There's all sorts of Beemon to fight so pick and choose: FanBeemon, Flybeemon, HoneyBeemon, JewelBeemon, CannonBeemon, and DinoBeemon specifically will be most noticeable.
Remember to mark your subject titles with date, time, and even type of Beemon!]]

[Strikedramon lunges in with glowing claws.]

[The DinoBeemon meets Strikedramon's lunge, swinging its large arms. It almost appears to not care about the pain inflected by the strike claw as it slashes at him with its spikes at an unimaginable speed, obviously perceiving the largest foe as the most dangerous.]
No, no! Divine Feet!
[Lucemon's glowing-kick dive-bomb...doesn't really get DinoBeemon's attention.]

[And punches the DinoBeemon right in the face.
Of course it does next to nothing. But she does splay her claws and... clings like a leech to it's face, trying to claw out it's eyes.]

[Somebody tell the woman that throwing herself at it won't help.]
[Back in the fray, Strikedramon grunts in pain and takes a step backwards to fix his balance. It's about then that BlackGatomon attaches herself to the monster's face.]

[He grabs for the DinoBeemon's hands, intending to keep it from reaching up to claw at BlackGatomon.]

Are you kidding? You're just going to get yourself killed! You don't have superpowers here, you can't charge them!
[He doesn't consciously acknowledge it, but he doesn't even have to keep himself from shaking. Maybe it's the adrenaline, but there's too much going on for him to even think about panicking, for once.
BlackGatomon is more of a minor annoyance to the DinoBeemon, but the attack does what it's meant to, and while distracted, Strikedramon's able to properly grapple with it.]
Aha! Grand Cross! [Spying her opening, Lucemon stretches out her arms, a crucifix of light appearing behind her, and ten orbs shoot out at DinoBeemon. A Rookie attack isn't much, but with the current pain inflicted, it at least does something.]

[She turns and smirks at Strikedramon before going back to clawing at the Dinobeemon's face, causing a few nicks but mostly trying to keep it's attention while the other two attack. She even swats at it's neck with her Cat Tail attack.
Meanwhile Neku moves to help Cam hold Shepard back]

[Still holding onto Dinobeemon's hands, Strikedramon grins darkly.]

[Fire blazes from his hands and he pushes forwards, trying to knock the other digimon over.]

Yeah, I'm tryin'! [She fires off another Grand Cross as Strikedramon's push drives the DinoBeemon, distracted with BlackGatomon's swats, over...taking the cat Digimon with it.]

[Taking his partner's lead, Strikedramon makes an attempt at controlling the situation.]

['Woman' seems to be his nickname for BlackGatomon. It's best not to question it.]

[That's a relief, at least she's listening.] Neku, how much can you walk? [He can't support him much; he has to focus on Shepard.]
Sorry, sorry! Hmmnnn, don't stop now, Grand Cross! [The DinoBeemon, on its back, is barraged with another wave of light orbs, keeping him down more than doing much damage.] Please, heavy-hitters reserve flirting for after we win!

[BlackGatomon smirks again, springing off Strikedramon's head and down at the downed Beemon]

As for Lucemon she's not going to call your obvious bluff Strikedramon, she's just gonna continue her Grand Cross assault, which the DinoBeemon, struggling to get to its feet, doesn't like one bit.]
Come on, the shelters are over this way--
[But at that moment, another pained screech shatters the air, and the DinoBeemon literally breaks apart in front of them, bit by bit.]
...That's...how they die... [Cam swallows. No, focus on Shepard and Neku now, focus on them. Head up, stick on the ice, Saunders.]
