the city (open)

Who: The city!
What: Beemon Invasion
When: 24-26 of April 2013
Where: All over Terminal Tokyo

Just as Ryou predicted it was only several hours later that the first wave of Beemon made their appearance. None of the various types of Beemon seem to even blink if they're attacked. Their first and only objective seems to be to lay ruin to the city and everything in it. At first any attacks will be ignored, but if someone proceeds to continue and attack them the Beemon will attack.

They're difficult to beat, regardless of level. The FanBeemon may need two people working together even at Champion level. Each Digimon are much more difficult to defeat solo than they would be normally. One thing should easily be certain before the first night is out-- if you want the city to survive then you're going to need to work together.]

[[OOC:
So here's how this will work guys-- unless you need a Digimon for various reasons: playing out the first Digivolution, Dark Digivolutions, or a general battle they will be played by you. You may request a modded NPC as per usual, but depending on the number/duties you may be turned down (we'll do our best, though). Keep in mind your character will not have an easy win on their own and that humans will be virtually ineffective. Your character may get a few good whacks in on a rookie level Beemon, but that won't be so effective later.

NPC Chosen will also be out and around the areas to help you as needed, so you can tag them!

There's all sorts of Beemon to fight so pick and choose: FanBeemon, Flybeemon, HoneyBeemon, JewelBeemon, CannonBeemon, and DinoBeemon specifically will be most noticeable.

Remember to mark your subject titles with date, time, and even type of Beemon!]]

"Easy, easy!" he was only trying to help. Seeing as Jaime made it pretty obvious that he had no idea what to do in a fight, and Zack already knew his weapon was useless against the Beemon.

Only one or two of the barbs had hit his free arm, and yes, it hurt like a mother, but he didn't seem too phased by it. Maybe it was because he was already suffering from head trauma, or because he was just really really resilient. Either way, he was grinning down at Jaime, releasing him once he caught his breath, "Never been better," which was a horrific lie, but this was Zack, "Come on, they're not going to stop just because we did," he said, offering his hand.

Dorugamon, once certain Zack and Jaime were alright, turned his attention back to Falcomon, "Do you ever shut up?" he asked as he went to smack one of the beemon with his tail.

"There will be time for silence when I am DELETED!" the bird digimon shouted, bounding off of a Beemon's head to backflip lightly onto Dorugamon's snout. "And that time shall not be TODAY, nor TOMORROW, nor THE DAY AFTER THAT! For with my partner, I am INVINCIBLE!" He vaulted off the larger digimon's head to drive his clawed foot into a Beemon's back.

Still trying to keep an eye on the swarm of Beemon, Jamie accepted Zack's hand up, scrambling to his feet and then moving to grab the length of pipe that had been knocked from his hand. He noted the barbs in Zack's arm, as well as the blood from the man's previous head injury, and distractedly thought that maybe those should get looked at when there weren't giant insects trying to kill them.

At Zack's quip, Jamie blanched a little but regained his grip on his weapon. "That's what I was afraid of. What're we supposed to do when the digimon are having trouble fighting those things off?"
