Who: Minervamon, and you
What: A visitor, with something to say
Where: HospiTown
When: January 15th and 16th, 2013
Around noon, a figure walks into HospiTown. She is short, probably the size of some of the younger kids, and she carries a sword.
Rather, the sword drags on the ground, as she walks with grunts and injuries. When she reaches the Hospital's doors, she drops it, and she half-sits, half-leans against the building. An Agumon approaches her, one who works there, with shock and gasps.
"Don't be surprised," says the Digimon, Minervamon. "I'm not gonna cause any trouble. Could you tell the Chosen I'm here to talk? I owe them that much, and, well. I'd rather not barge into your fine establishment."
She grins weakly, and the Agumon, in a daze, rushes inside. Moments later, an announcement goes throughout the Hospital, via a PA system: You've got a visitor, and it's a God! She's here to talk, Minervamon's here to talk!
She chuckles. Well, that'll get some of them out, but maybe with more of a fuss than she wanted...

"There's no other way to say it. I wanted to protect you from Jupitermon's justice, but I was reckless, and got your city...poofed."
Not blown up, just gone.
no subject
"But it's just data, right? Isn't there some kind of...I don't know, a backup copy?"
no subject
"You need to reassess your way of thinking about this place. It's data, but it's a place. It can be rebuilt, accessed somewhere, but it didn't get destroyed. It literally vanished. That's data, some of that Tokyo city- everything, mixed together. Lucky enough the Digimon went to Primary Village, any Chosen stuck weren't gone with it."
no subject
"But if it vanished, does that mean it went somewhere specific or that it's just nonexistent?"
no subject
"I wish I had those answers."

Pressing a hand to his face, Waver tried to repress the oncoming tension headache.
"Look, I don't know about you, but I've just about had it with being up to our eyes in overpowered and giant Digimon buggering up everything. So if you would please explain just what the hell is going on with you, the other giant one you seem to have an issue with, Titamon, Sakuyamon, and anybody I'm bloody missing, I would certainly appreciate it!"
no subject
"This isn't fair to you. None of this is." She opens her eyes and looks him straight. "I am part of a group called the Olympus XII. That much, I imagine Venusmon's told you... Jupitermon was once our leader, but something happened. He became...warped. Different. One day he started talking about finding a way to make all the worlds one.
"I disagreed with him a lot before, but this... I struck out. Not all of the group agreed with him, and the ones who didn't... Well, except for Venusmon, they followed me."
no subject
"So this group of yours split up." he confirmed, speaking mostly to himself. "And this 'something' that made him different, I'd wager that's to do with the SCOPE Virus or some other godforsaken thing."
It seemed sound logic at the moment, anyway.
"What about Venusmon, what did she do?"
no subject
"She's a tricky one. Venusmon said she didn't want anything to do with the...factions we were making. When the first Chosen started appearing, she said she'd ally herself with you." She frowns, and for a moment she looks childish. "But that's what I want to do too, so she's just being stubborn."

What a stupid way of saying it.
"But then, everything got thrown out of whack. The frequencies didn't match, so the beanstalk disappeared!"
Her hands unaligned.
"It took longer to even get down here. By the time I did, Jupitermon was already at your city."
no subject
Sheesh.
"So this whole thing with the worlds meshing together, that's likely to be his doing, then?"
no subject
And then she's serious again, just like that. "The worlds merging is definitely his fault. But he can't control it anymore, because Titamon stole the ARCloner."
A scowl crosses her lips.
"Who knows what's worse there."
no subject
One thing at a time.
no subject
"He's about screwing with Jupitermon, which should sound great, but trust me it's not."
no subject
Usually 'flattening landmarks' was the definition of unhelpful, but Waver thought a little more detail might be needed.

Inwardly cursing his luck, Waver quickly pushed thoughts of Caster as far out of his head as possible. Things certainly weren't that bad, at least not yet.
"There must be some way to actually defeat him, right?"
no subject
She winces. "Well... Before the schism, the Olympus XII hasn't been able to in...forever. Once, at one time...but that'd require all of our members, united behind one goal. And I don't think that'll ever happen again."
She sinks lower. "Besides, he'd just be reborn, to rise up decades later. If there's order, there has to be chaos." He can't see it, but she rolls her eyes; it seems like this is something she's repeating in frustration, something she's been told many times.
no subject
Even so, it did confirm just outright defeating the guy wouldn't do a whole lot in the long run. That was disappointing, to put it lightly.
"Never mind. In that case, there must be some way to keep him in check, isn't there?"
no subject
no subject
Deep breaths, Waver.
"Please tell me there's some semblance of optimism somewhere about the whole thing."
