Olympic Contact

Who: Minervamon, and you
What: A visitor, with something to say
Where: HospiTown
When: January 15th and 16th, 2013

Around noon, a figure walks into HospiTown. She is short, probably the size of some of the younger kids, and she carries a sword.

Rather, the sword drags on the ground, as she walks with grunts and injuries. When she reaches the Hospital's doors, she drops it, and she half-sits, half-leans against the building. An Agumon approaches her, one who works there, with shock and gasps.

"Don't be surprised," says the Digimon, Minervamon. "I'm not gonna cause any trouble. Could you tell the Chosen I'm here to talk? I owe them that much, and, well. I'd rather not barge into your fine establishment."

She grins weakly, and the Agumon, in a daze, rushes inside. Moments later, an announcement goes throughout the Hospital, via a PA system: You've got a visitor, and it's a God! She's here to talk, Minervamon's here to talk!

She chuckles. Well, that'll get some of them out, but maybe with more of a fuss than she wanted...

"It was very courageous of you," he remarks with an earnest smile and nod. "If it weren't for you we might not have been so lucky. I'm sorry more people aren't showing you gratitude. I don't like to make excuses for others - its a very slippery slope - but a lot of people are just shaken up and distressed over what they fear is just more criticism of their genuine efforts."

He sighs and shrugs then, holding an arm out with a raised brow, offering her the courtly gesture as a matter of honor, though he won't take offense if she declines to take it.

"No one, myself included, is entirely sure what we're supposed to do to save our worlds. We're scattered and everyone has different opinions and the only thing really uniting us was that there wasn't anywhere else to go. I dislike speaking ill of others, but I would wager there are those among us who care very little what happens to the worlds. Personally I'd just like to get this all sorted and head back home. I have people I miss...and if this all ends up being for naught then I wish to see them one more time before its all lost to us."

"Its my understanding that's what everyone believed every other time something terrible befell the city," he replied, walking alongside her, pleased that she took his arm because what else was a Prince supposed to do while walking with a young woman?

"When people start calming down, they'll see you meant well enough and that most of us act hastily and recklessly as well, and that no one is any more or less to blame. They ought to be grateful that it was you and not ourselves forced to fight such a force as that Jupitermon. Sooner or later we'll be forced to make better and more cohesive decisions. From personal experience I can only suggest trying to unite people under a common goal. Something more tangible than "save the world" because that means something different to everyone. I would suggest aiming to act on the desire to defeat a common enemy. Whatever a reason for doing it, the the end result is the same."

"Oh my goodness, where in there world are my manners?" he laughed, shaking his head and pulling away long enough to offer a broad, courtly bow.

"Prince Ro--er...King Rowan, at your service. Rowan is quite fine, however. No use in standing on formality when you haven't got a kingdom to go with the crown," he chuckled, rising and holding his arm out once more. "Hm, too much rattling around and running, I've forgotten myself. I do apologize."
