Whirl's plan had been, as soon as he and his digimon got to the new town they're supposed to be in, was to find the nearest bar. Of course that plan was quickly halted because as soon as he slid off Jetstream's back?

The digimon, who is still in her Champion form of Saberdramon, quickly picks Whirl up by the back of his shirt with her beak.

"H-Hey!" He's going to be angrily flailing as Jetstream shuffles into the town, ignoring Whirl's protests since he currently looks like shit. More than usual, that is. And ignoring Rotorstorm laughing from the Gotsumon's position on her back.

So enjoy that scene moving through HospiTown, or hey anyone Whirl spots he may just shout at to try and help him.

Before long, they made it there, and Whirl ended up having his wounds treated and set. Then, they pretty much forced the Cybertronian into a bed.

"... they said you'd be stuck here for a day or two," Masaru said, rubbing the back of his head. "Look, this isn't me thinking I need to enact some penance or anything, but is there anything you need taken care of? Figured it'd be the decent thing to do."

Getting Whirl to stay put is probably the hardest thing they've ever had to do in this place. Forced or not, really.

So Masaru don't mind the disgruntled dirty look he's giving you, really.

"Yeah, getting me a frikking drink," he means alcohol because he has been surprisingly sober since the big city went poof.

"... I know what you mean, but it's gonna be water," he said, before turning to head out of the room.

That left Agumon alone with Whirl and his digimon.

"... Soooo. Um..."

If Whirl knew what an asshole is, he'd so be calling Masaru that. So when it's just him, his partners and Agumon left?

Rotorstorm had been getting comfy in a chair and dozed off, while Jetstream is fussing over everything like a busybody. Leaving Whirl to be the one to pay attention to the digimon.

"What, Murderlizard?"

Agumon made a face.

"I know what you're doing," he said. "I can't change what I did, but you're not getting under my skin, okay? Just thought you'd like to know that. I'm not gonna cause any trouble for Jetstream by getting mad at you!"

Whirl snorts, but doesn't say anything to what Agumon said. Jetstream coughs a bit awkwardly and well...

"She's calling you that because she doesn't give a fuck what your name is," Rotorstorm speaks up, still looking like he's napping. But it looks like he didn't. Yet. "Even I know that and I've been with her for only a short while."

Agumon just glares at Rotorstorm. He meant what he said about not causing trouble, and even if they do say that, there's definitely something crass about tearing that old wound open over and over.

"... In any case, I'm glad you're okay. I know one of those cybertronian guys has been asking about you."

"Optimus always worries about stupid scrap."

Really that's all Whirl has to say on the subject, since he's talked to Wheeljack and he is pretty sure none of the other Autobots care about him. And he's pretty sure Optimus was only asking after because it's the Autobot leader's duty.
