partial love = partial light.
Who: Ringabel, OPEN
What: Ringabel finally learns the "truth", or rather, what Biyomon thinks is the truth. Which isn't the truth. Bawww.
Where: HospiTown cafe.
When: 19th Jan
Warning: some very minor Bravely Default spoilers~ But really, everything Biyomon's saying is wrong, so not... really spoilery? IT'S KIND OF SPOILERY.
[There sits, in one of the small, utterly crappy cafe, a platinum haired youth sporting a rather dandy hairstyle, slumped over a pile of papers and documents which appear to be hanging out of a certain black book embossed in silver. The amount of documents the thing contains appears to be staggering, Across from him sits a Biyomon, sipping on some tea as well as one could with a beak.
The teenager looks defeated, well and truly, perhaps about to roll over and die. But he raises his head promptly, shapely eyebrows furrowed, and eyes accusatory as he crosses one leg over the other, leaning forward in his seat, elbow clunking on the table and chin meeting a splayed gloved hand.]
I'm afraid, my dear, that what you're saying simply cannot be correct. Yes - Most of the details of what you say, such as travelling with the Wind Vestal - and your account of Agnès trying on that wondrous Bravo Bikini - line up as if you have heard everything of what has transpired within my life. Yet you said you would fill in the blanks. That- I recall all of that. Quite clearly. Not a single blank has been filled.
[The digimon appears to look slightly uncomfortable. And she's going to slam her tea down on the table, no doubt getting a few droplets on the texts.]
...Wait. You're seriously ignoring what happens to you? In your world, they're all going to turn on you, and you're going to die! Your friends kill you! Then they're killed! Then your airship crashes into a village and kills thousands of people! How isn't that a revelation?!
[The youth merely uses his spare hand to brush away the droplets on the pages. The news that his friends were going to kill him was unnerving. Very much so. But he's putting a brave face on it. There's absolutely no way. He's never been surer of anything.]
Perhaps you're the one which is confused? Tiz and the others are my friends. We're planning on saving our world together, as I'm certain you're aware - and as for destroying a village - Norende - with Grandship, I think you're overlooking the fact it's already been destroyed. The Great Chasm already swallowed it up. There's some restoration work, yes. But hardly anything to attract thousands of people.
[The bird digimon is going to puff up for a second or two, and then slam her clawed wings on the table.]
How can you be so blind?! I'm telling you everything as I saw it happen! I'm linked to you - I know everything that happens to you because it's what I've seen for all my life! And you're not going to listen to anything...
[The youth straightens.]
And so you thought telling me my friends would slay me would make me stay here, and help you with your agenda? Make no mistake about it, I quite enjoy the company of cunning women. But you're not clever enough to fool me, Biyomon. I won't have you make up untrue things because you want me to turn my back on them to stay here. No world is more important than the other. But what you're doing is disgraceful.
[The little bird covers her face with her claws. It's clear at this point she's crying. Then, abruptly, she stands. And she flees the cafe, crying. The youth reclines, allows a small escape of breath, and lifts his own coffee to his lips.
....and promptly places it down. It's disgusting. He turns slightly, ignoring his texts for the moment to fix his eyes on some digimon on the other table. Nurses? Interesting.]

[ and so Sora does sit down. he remembers this conversation now, with that digimon. the one that only really wants a close relationship with her partner. now he has to wonder if she followed the advice that they had given her. maybe telling this guy about what's going to happen - or what she thinks is going to happen - hadn't been the right way to go about it. ]
She's only concerned about you, you know.

[A small laugh, as he closes the book oncemore. The situation in itself is hilarious. He chooses to lean back in his seat, bringing a gloved hand to his chin and thumb to his lips, as he regards the ceiling in thought. Normally, he'd have reacted to Sora's last words with a curt warning to stay out of his business, but it was apparent this youth meant well. Even if he didn't know the full story and really was sticking his nose in regardless.
Perhaps it was the fact it reminded him of something Tiz would do that curbed that into a smile as his eyes returned to Sora.]
Perhaps. But she's certainly too emotional over it all!

[ so it's better to build bridges than destroy them. best to make use of what time you have instead of arguing or just sit there like a bump on a log and do nothing. just because this isn't their home doesn't mean it deserves to fall to ruin...
at least these are the things that Sora thinks as he looks at this guy with the weird hair. ]
And I don't think she is being too emotional over it. I mean how would you feel if you were in her place? That the person you had been waiting for and watching all your life just doesn't want to take you seriously?

[Back at you, at least on the weird hair front because HAVE YOU LOOKED INTO A MIRROR RECENTLY SORA. His gaze, however, is innocuous. Or about as innocent as his could possibly be.
An elbow meets the table, and he rests his head in a splayed hand. ]
I'm planning on catching up with her later. But this disagreement has absolutely nothing to do with me taking her seriously or not. Quite frankly, I don't find any merit in lies. I could say I believe her - yet I would not. It would smooth matters considerably... though any kind of partnership based on lies is one not worth anything. Wouldn't you agree?

[ but that's neither here nor there. and Sora doesn't mind if people are looking forward to going back. if they will help ( without getting too moody about it ), then that's fine. all the better. but the problem is that you can't fight without your partner and bonds that aren't quite strong or that are negative have led to dark evolutions in the past... ]
We did tell her that it wasn't a good idea to keep stuff or bribe or things like that. I mean you at least told her you were double checking and stuff, right?
