i expect cute things (closed)
Who: The Protectors
What: Evacuating baby Digimon
When: 24-26 April
Where: Primary Village
Maybe baby Digimon weren't what you expected, but whatever you thought you've now found yourself with quite the handful. All around is brightly colored blocks that are soft as pillows and the only thing cuter might just be the Digimon that lived there. In bright colors and pastels little pillow-like creatures surround you.
If there was a stillness to the air you wouldn't be able to tell it from the energy bundled up in these little guys. They seem happy to see everyone and are too distracted by playing to understand the word "evacuating"... but is it just you or do they seem to stop and whimper every once in a while?
[[OOC: This is a non-combat role so you're free to do what you wish! The baby Digimon can be quite the handful and may not want to cooperate, so it's up to you to evacuate them safely. Or you could just play games instead because it can't really be that bad, right?
If you ant to battle a passing Digimon who's uneasy about the area make sure to talk to the group or keep it single (these digimon you fight will be normal ones, so no worries about working together).
Ask any questions as needed!]]
welp first post?
Some of the passing Digimon appear intimidated, but Dorumon and herself will keep their guard up. Her current trouble is a group of Leafmon, who seem happy to see her yet a little shy.]
Come here, little ones! We can play a game if you follow me, okay?
[Get their attention, move them to a safe location, and repeat. This doesn't seem too bad... yet.]

Either way, right now, Chihiro and Coronamon are busily running around and scooping up digimon, being careful not to hurt them. Chihiro has to carefully chide Coronamon sometimes, because he can be a little unintentionally rough. ]
A—Ah, Elizabeth-san, are you having trouble?
If you are, let me help!

[...Until one sneaky little Leafmon bounces off to another place while the rest started to follow Elizabeth. Then again, with a plant-like baby Digimon that could blend in with the grass, it could be tricky to keep an eye out on all of them.
Dorumon quickly moves to the escaping one and gently headbutts it back to the group.]
Chihiro, you can help me make sure they all stay together while we move them, okay? They can kind of blend in with the grass, can they?

[ Chihiro looks to his digimon, and they nod at each other, jogging to the group of Leafmon and encircling them so none of them can escape. Coronamon lowers to his knees to gently push them into a neat, orderly circle. They're kind of smushed, but it can't be helped. ]
I think that's all of this species. Should we get the next group..?

Mhm! Which group should we round up next?

He looked around and seemed completely awkward right now.]
..... What.... do you want?!

She heard Squall's loud commotion and quickly pushed her Leafmon group to the bigger groups so she can quickly get the ones bothering the older man. At least it's just a few, able to pick up two in her arms while Dorumon nudges one on his back.]
Are you alright?
no subject
Just... was startled that's all.
no subject
Well, at least they didn't hurt you... Even if they are so young to probably do that.

This sort of action also translates into a game to most of them instead of realizing she's trying to keep them together with the bigger group for their own safety. Her candlemon is partially helping as he is also seeing it as a bit of a game and challenge to catch the smaller digimon.]

open.
But at least her presence and appearance seem to make the babies more likely to follow and listen to her. Several of them had asked her if she were a digimon herself, if one of her attacks was not talking. All she does is smile gently, trying to keep them away from the fighting that is slowly creeping closer.
With a Yuramon in one arm and a Conomon in the other, she carefully herds the babies who can bounce or crawl. Renamon has a Leafmon herself, and is directing traffic with her free arm. One of the fresh digimon--a Pabumon--breaks off from the pack, giggling mischievously. The blonde sighs to herself, glances behind herself nervously, and starts after it. She trusts that her partner will be able to manage the ones they've gathered.]

Luckily he came over at the right time because the little Pabumon that ran away bumped right into him when Nill came after it. He glances down and then to the girl. ]
... This yours?

Nill smiles, and gestures with an elbow behind her to the little herd that Renamon is still directing. Really, as long as the digimon get to safety, it doesn't matter who gets them there. She gives the unfamiliar young man a hopeful look. Perhaps he'll help?]

Over there, right?
[ His own partner Kudamon is around another group of baby digimon running around them and doing little tricks to make they distracted.]

Come back!
[At least one false bounce ends up having a Zerimon bumping into the Pabumon to stop the chase and Elizabeth quickly scoops it up before it escapes again.]
Got you!

Guess we got lucky, huh... This one would've run forever if I didn't catch it!
Psychemon, Open
She'd never hurt another creature in her life and she wasn't about to start now. She firmly believed that there should be a way to talk through most problems. But for the life of her she couldn't see a way out of this fight.
So she had chosen to stay with the babies. She wished that Changeling had come with her but he told her his place was to stand with the others and keep the Bees from reaching her and the babies.
He was stupid like that.
Trying to distract herself from her anxiety she had gathered together a group of the little ones and was singing to them, using her paws to mime out the song.
"In a cabin in the woods,
a little old mon by the window stood.
Saw a Chumon hopping by.
tapping at the door.
Help me help me! The Chumon cried.
I just need a place to hide.
Come little Chumon come inside,
I'll take care of you."
Her voice was soothing and deep when she sang, and the animated gestures seemed to hold the babies attention. They especially liked taking turns in her strong arms at the end of the song while she sang "I'll take care of you." Because she would snuggled them close and rock them gently before setting them down.
