Do you have to do this nerd stuff now? I have a headache and I can't handler your nerd talk today.

And how is this different from any other day?

It's not, but I have an excuse this time.

Well too bad, I already agreed that I would try to help him with the transferring process so I'm going to help him. Besides do you know how long it's been since I've gotten to do anything like this? Too long!

Yeah, fine. One question, are you gonna be able to do this since,... you know, your fingers are all huge now turtle boy?

Yeah, I do it at home. Why?

No real reason. I mean I figured you couldn't handle it since you know... your out of touch with your real body and all.

Excuse me?!

[Meanwhile, Arte sighed] I hope he gets here before another fight breaks out...

Ohoo, that's pretty cool! [As he stood up he put a hand to his chin, starting to idly pace around in thought.]

I wonder if there's any way around here to test for sure. [Facing Donnie he tilted his head slightly, scrutinizing him.] I could certainly see the terrapin. I'd have to know more about your brothers to be able to guess more...

[He was looking pretty eager now.] This could be a whole new thing to look into! Discovering your original species, pre-mutated DNA.

Hmm... I don;t know of anywhere here that can do that. I mean I could try to build something to find out before the glitch wears off, because when ti does I don;t know if my turtle DNA would still be a part of my human body or not.

Good point. [He rubbed his chin, doing a few moments of intense thought.]

I wonder if we could find a way to sample your DNA, now, and have it on hold for later experimentation...

Well... maybe if we take a saliva sample while I'm still like this, then it's possible that the DNA will stay the same even after the glitch wears off, then if you salvage that somewhere it could be tested later.

That's true. That would probably be easiest.

[He looked aside to his Digimon sitting on the bed talking, and you can practically see the lightbulb go off.]

Y'know, it might actually work in our favor that we're in a hospital! [He was looking back at Donnie with a grin.] There's the possibility they could keep it on file here. We may be able to find everything we need for keeping it here, and hopefully they'd be willing to help out a couple of Chosen in need!

[And when Chris brought that up, Donnei grins with equal enthusiasm.]

Oh man, you have a point! That's too good a possibility to pass up!

Alright! Then I think that's definitely something to look into, at least so far as DNA collection goes. Luckily saliva samples stay viable for longer and in better conditions than others do, so that oughta be simple enough to take and store.

Right, but we better take the sample as soon as possible. I don't know when this glitch is going to ware off, but the longest is a week. So we definitely want to take it before I turn back into a human.

Okay, so let's see. [He looked up, ticking off on his fingers.] We need a sterile vial, a swab, and somewhere to store it...

The swabs we may be able to find in here. We may have to ask for a vial though, and as for storage a dry environment is best.

Or we do this.

[He then stood up and pulled out a medical kit, He then pulled out a swab before reaching into a drawer and pulling out a sterile vial.]

We'll need to look for a dry enough environment t store it, but as for all that stuff... well I always liked to be prepared for anything and everything.

A kit! That's just what I was thinking.

[He's definitely eager now.]

Our rooms oughta be good enough to store it? I haven't taken a reading on the actual humidity levels in here- [A momentary glance toward the creature pod. Oh if only.] -but hopefully the river's far enough away that it doesn't affect the air here.

Though if worse comes to worse and we can't find anything drier, we could use a freezer. That'd keep the sample even longer for us too, just in case we need it.

Sounds good to me. What could go wrong?

[A little pingiong noise then went off. Donnie turned back to the devices.]

Oh, the transfer's done! [He sat back down and typed a few things before handing the devices over to the green-clad human.] There,e everything that was on your Creature Pod should all be on the T-Terminal.

[Chris turned when the alert sounded, and he grinned brightly as the devices were brought to his hands. The D-Terminal was slid back into its pocket, and the creature pod into its slot on the glove.]

Great! And thanks again, Donnie. I really appreciate it, and hope I can repay ya sometime.

[He turned at a slight beeping noise and removed the D-Terminal from his pocket, checking it.]

Alright, that's Martin. We made some plans for later on. [A quick reply and he put it away again, looking up with a smile.]

I'll get back to you on the DNA test, alright? And we'll see if we can't figure out what species you are, between the two of us.

Alright, sounds good. I'll see you later then.

[Chris turned, holding his arm crooked out slightly. Sylvia looked over and then crawled up onto Nes as he headed over, springing off his head and onto her partner's shoulder. Raising the same hand Chris made a little half-salute Donnie's way, beaming.]

[And with partners in tow he jogged out of the room, off on who knew what adventure now.]
