The Digital World had been having a great deal of earthquakes the last six months. The first was the largest of them and had ended in the shifting of the planes. Since then earthquakes happened periodically, often sending new Chosen Children with it. At first it was Chosen that the Digital World knew and rejoiced, but now and then it would send new Chosen.

Today was different, however. The earthquake that rattled the Digital World felt almost as bad as the first, but there was a difference this time. Suddenly dozens of children were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling and so were their partners...

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

Hey!

[Labramon lifted her head, hackles raising slightly as she stepped out in front of Kyouko]

She's not sketchy, she's just kind of a stick-in-the-mud! But it's okay, she's got me, and I'll make sure she gets out more and meets more people!

L-- Labramon.

[Kyouko's voice was a bit sharper than it was earlier, and Labramon drooped slightly]

It's all right. It's not the first time someone has found me suspicious. [and it probably wouldn't be the last]

[With that taken care of, she inclined her head towards Chihiro, composure regained]

. . . yes, it seems I'm here too. And it seems neither of us expected this trip to the Digital World to result in a class reunion.

[firewall]

Oh yeah? Well— H-Hey!

[ before Coronamon starts actually picking a fight, Chihiro picks him up and holds him in a tight embrace. He doesn't want any kind of confrontation, especially not with Kirigiri's partner.. Coronamon struggles for a moment, but eventually gives up and droops a bit. ]

C—Calm down, okay..? Kirigiri-san is a friend. [ he then directs his attention back to Kirigiri, who, for a moment, he only shakes his head to. This was certainly the last thing he expected. After a moment, another thing catches his attention. ] Y—You.. called my Fujisaki-kun.

[Kyouko bowed her head slightly in a nod]

We discovered your secret during the school trial that commenced after your death.

[There was really no way to sugarcoat it, and Kyouko had never been the type to do so anyway]

[firewall]

D—Death.. [ he knew he was dead, but to have confirmation about it.. especially from someone as blunt as Kirigiri, it made it sink in a bit. He's glad that she told him, though. He appreciated that she didn't sugar coat it. She got right to the point. The point that he was dead.. ] So does that mean the same thing that happened to Kuwata-kun.. happened to Oowada-kun?

Yes. The method was not the same, but the result was.

[A very slight hesitation]

There's a lot I can fill you in on. But I'm not sure such a public place is the proper venue for this discussion.

[firewall]

C—Could we go to one of our rooms? Or, um, we can wait if you want..

[genreawareness]

I think that'd be a wise idea.

[she turned on her hell and nodded towards the meeting hall]

I'm rooming in F1 004.

[firewall]

Okay.

[ Chihiro nods, then quickly follows behind, Coronamon in tow. ]

[genreawareness]

[It doesn't take them long to reach Kyouko's living quarters, and she opens the door and politely steps out of the way for Chihiro to enter first]

After you.

[The room is fairly barren, of course. . . after all, it hasn't been lived in yet. It even still had that new apartment smell]

[firewall]

[ chihiro tentatively enters, looking around the mostly empty room. Even though it's clear Kyouko hasn't spent much time here yet, he still feels apprehensive to make himself comfortable or sit down anywhere. As such, he just stands in the middle of the room awkwardly. ]
