What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!

The Digital World had been having a great deal of earthquakes the last six months. The first was the largest of them and had ended in the shifting of the planes. Since then earthquakes happened periodically, often sending new Chosen Children with it. At first it was Chosen that the Digital World knew and rejoiced, but now and then it would send new Chosen.

Today was different, however. The earthquake that rattled the Digital World felt almost as bad as the first, but there was a difference this time. Suddenly dozens of children were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling and so were their partners...

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

[Fluttershy takes a breath, and when she speaks her voice is a little louder than before...a little]

N-no, it's...it's all right. F-from...what I've seen, I-I guess...not a lot of h-humans have...wings?

Yeah, not really. ..Then again, not a lot of people have dragons where they're from, so I'm... trying to keep an open mind.

Y-you...you have dragons where you're from?

[Hiccup nods.]

Lots of dragons. They're just about as common as mosquitoes on Berk.

O-oh...

W-we...we have dragons...where I come from b-back home, but...I've n-never seen that many...

[Thankfully.]

[Oh good, something they have in common. Sortof.]

Wish you could see Berk then. It's completely covered with dragons. They're kindof like our partners, like how Digimon are here.

[She can't help the small shudder that passes through her body.] Th-that...doesn't sound like a place that I-I'd...do too well at. I-I'm a little ~~[read: extremely]~~...s-scared of...dragons...

[Hiccup smiles slightly at Fluttershy, trying his best to look reassuring.]

Well the ones around Berk aren't all that bad. ..Would you believe me if I told you my best friend is a dragon? ...and that he saved my life?

[She seems a little curious by this.] R-really?

Mhm. My dragon friend's name is Toothless. He really is a harmless dragon, once you get to know him.

O-oh...Th-that...that sounds nice.

S-so...what kind of things do you and...Toothless do?

Well....lots of things. He's my best friend so... we're practically together all the time. We go out for flights, play in the snow when it isn't horrible outside, help dad take care of the village...you know, stuff like that.

[She relaxes a little as she listens, seeming to be opening up to the idea.] Th-that sounds...really nice.

It...it is. ...I just hope Toothless and the others are doing alright, back home..

[Oh yes, worry...she knows all about that.

Hesitantly ~~very hesitantly~~ she takes his hand, hoping it's reassuring.] I...I-I'm sure they're all right...

[Hiccup blinks a few times, looking over at her when she takes his hand. The contact is unexpected, admittedly, but not unwelcome. He's just happy she doesn't seem so nervous and unsure as she was before, so he nods.]

Yeah, you're right. If anything, I shouldn't even be worried about them. I should be more worried about myself.

[She gives him a small smile.] I-It...might not be so bad here...?

[She's trying, but she doesn't sound completely sure. Mostly because she's been pretty worried about it herself.]

[Hiccup chuckles.]

Maybe. You never know, right? This might just be just another adventure.

[She nods.] Y-yes...I suppose so...

[She looks a little worried again. After all, this was her first adventure by herself...without any of her friends there with her.]

[The viking pauses for a minute, standing there somewhat awkwardly with Fluttershy's hand still in his.

Then, suddenly, he steps a bit closer, forgetting completely about Gomamon on his back- causing the little Digimon to shift suddenly with a noise of surprise.]

If....if you don't mind me asking....why do you have wings, Fluttershy?

[She doesn't seem to really notice that his hand is still in hers ~~meaning they might be holding hands for a while~~.]

N-no, it's all right...Th-the truth is, I...have wings back where I come from...Back home, there are actually lot of pon-...er, people who have wings...

Woah, really? ...Well I guess that's not any weirder than dragons, so I'll believe it. ...Is that why your name's Fluttershy?

O-oh, I...I guess so...[To be honest, she hadn't really thought about it. It was a fairly normal name back home, so she never really thought that it would have more meaning than what she was called.

And that brought another concern.]

Is...I-Is my name...really strange?

[Hiccup quickly shakes his head, his eyes widening a bit.]

O-oh no, that's not what I meant! ...Fluttershy's a pretty name, I think.

[Then he smiles weakly.]

S'...better than Hiccup.

[She smiles shyly, then looks at him curiously.] H-Hiccup sounds like a...fine name to me...

[Of course, that's coming from someone who know a person - well, pony - named Snails, so...]
