Pasta Dinner Night -- Open to All

When: April 7, 2013, 6pm onwards
Where: The communal kitchen
What: Shepard hosts a communal dinner to make sure all the kids are okay, but adults and digimon are welcome as well!

[There's a good chance Shepard is going to regret emptying her wallet later, but for now, she's armed with a massive quantity of uncooked pasta and a bunch of jars of red sauce, along with butter and salt just in case of picky eaters. She'd normally just make the same thing for everyone, but she's dealing with what could be very young, very frightened children, so it's best to err on the side of caution.]

[She settles into the kitchen at 6, and after banishing Monodramon to their apartment (he's still in trouble for the incident with Gomamon), sets about to cooking.]

[If you show up early, you'll find her manning a large number of cooking pots full of heating sauce and boiling water. If you're on time, you'll find Shepard handing out plates of pasta and offering a choice between sauce or no sauce, then herding you to a table filled with anyone who got here before you. Why not get to mingling? There's enough food and company to go around, tonight.]

[It's enough for Nill to know that she's figured it out--but she doesn't let on. Sometimes it made people uncomfortable, which was understandable. She looks over to where the food is and nods, getting up and grabbing her plate so she can get in line to fill it. She gestures for Rise to join her.]

[ It didn't really make Rise uncomfortable. Even if she couldn't speak, Nill was still quite a cutie so she didn't mind. Rise followed Nill on the line and began filling up her plate too.

She continued to chat and tease with Nill. ]

You're so cute you know.

[ She still doesn't know Nill's name. ]

Where did you get your clothes?

[Nill has never eaten very much, and only partway fills her plate. Her cheeks go pink as she starts back towards the table--cute isn't a word she's heard often from anyone but Bishop. But Rise seems nice, and at least she's a girl and not a creepy old priest. Coincidentally, that priest was the one who had given her these clothes. That's sort of hard to explain though, so instead she simply shrugs.]

[ Nill was just too cute. It was really too bad that she couldn;t ask her for her name. At the moment, she really didn't know what to call her. So far, she had managed to avoid having to ... but she didn't know how long she can keep it up. ]

[Luckily, she'll answer to just about anything. A bite into her pasta, and she smiles. Yes, this is delicious. She's glad she was able to help. After trying it herself, the blonde watches the other girl carefully to see if she likes it as well.]
