Last month had been relatively calm, with only a new Dark Area being found.

But once again, that calm was disrupted.  For the third consecutive time, an earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners.  Mayhaps even some of the Choosen that have been here for a while, have predicted this to happen, today.

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

[He grins and wiggles his pointed ears cheerfully]

I've been here for a few months, so I'm kinda getting the hang of things.

I'm Beastboy, nice to meetcha!

[Holds out a gloved hand for shaking, relaxing a little now that he's talking]

[...you really shouldn't have said that. As evidence by Yoko's glare and Fanbeemon's blank expression.]

Beast...boy?

Oh come on.

[Yoko noticed the mumbling, but right now she didn't care. Instead she slapped Beastboy's hand away pretty damn hard.]

Just who the hell do you think you are? Is this some kind of joke to you?

[Her glare shifted over to her 'partner' who almost had her convinced there was something more to this place. So he was just a liar.] H-hey don't look at me this is news to me too! [The Digimon flew in up to Beastboy's bubble, getting in close enough for whispering.] You are not helping kid.

Everyone just shut up! [Fanbeemon flinched, Yoko was...really scary right now.] How the hell are you proud? Beastmen...beastmen are nothing more than liars and murderers. I won't be made a fool, so shut up and leave me alone already!

[Pivoting on her heel, Yoko turned and started running. How...how was she so stupid? To even think of believing that thing...]

[And Fanbeemon was left behind. Again. Sigh.] Good job breakng it, now I'm gonna have to go through this all over again.

[Beastboy looks baffled by the entire situation and flails when It all falls apart]

What the- how was I supposed to know?! I don't even know what went wrong!

[and he's off like a shot with Rita scrambling after him]

Hey! Hey lady come back!!! I'm no a Beastman or whatever! It's just a code name!!

His name is Garfield!

[She might have a giant gun adding some weight, but she was still fast enough to keep a lead. Outrunning Gunmen on a daily basis is damn good cardio. Fanbeemon on the other hand is about on the same level as BB and Rita, keeping up with the two of them.]

Are you deaf? I said leave me alone! [Yoko wasn't running on logic at this point, rather instinct. And instinct yelled at her to pull out the pistol she kept hidden in her ponytail. Logic dictated that since her rifle didn't work, the pistol wouldn't work either, but that didn't stop her from pulling the trigger over and over to only get an empty click.] Damn!

[She wasn't aiming. Hell she wasn't even thinking straight. All she wanted to do was get away and wake up from this crazy nightmare. And with her focus on the three chasing her, Yoko didn't notice the elevation drop to a hill.]

Ah! [With her footing lost, Yoko fell backwards, her sunglasses thrown off her face in the process.]

Yoko!

Lookout!!!

[Beastboy makes a grab for her and only manages to get a handful of ponytail before being dragged over the edge of the hill and crashing down the slope with her. Rita stumbles to a stop just in time to catch the sunglasses and wince watching her partner attempt and fail to be a hero...again]

[ And guess who you two just stumbled into, quite literally. Wally just happened to be walking up the hill when the two of them came tumbling down. He only manages to make some sort of incoherent noise before they're all falling down. It's a good thing his arm is basically healed by now. Still, that hurt. ]

Ow. Jeez...

[pitchick]

[Everything went blank for a moment. She felt and heard Beastboy's attempt to save her, but she didn't see it. Her eyes were looking up at the sky.]

[And then she felt the impact on hitting someone else. Next thing she knew, she was on her back facing up, her eyes still trained on the sky. Everything else started coming back slowly.]

Tch. [Yoko winced as she felt shaft of her rifle digging into her back. That was...going to leave a bruise. As she went to reach it, she felt something else.]

[Something else buried in her cleavage. The green kid- Beastboy to be exact.]

[Well first thing to do was blush bright red. And second thing to do was to think that this green boy tried to save her. She very gently pushed at him and give him room to breathe.] H-hey are you-? [Why? Why did he reach for her? Especially after the way she treated him?]

[And then she noticed she had landed on someone else. A boy with red hair.]

[A human looking boy.]

Wait- are you human?

Yeah, just with a few bonus features...

[Beastboy grunted thinking she was talking to him till he realized where he had landed. With a yelp like a kicked puppy he sprang backward doing an awkward and frantic crab walk backward till he thumped against a tree before falling forward onto his knees, green face now very red with embarrassment.]

IMSORRYIMSORRYIM...Wally? Dude is that you?

[chemistryinmotion]

[ Wally groans and pushes himself up, checking on his arm to make sure it's okay. He'd rather not have re-broken his arm, thank you very much, and it's not like Yoko's boobs softened the fall. ]

Huh? Yeah I'm human. With a fragile arm at the moment, but I think it's fine.

[ He looks over to Beast Boy, then back at Yoko, then back again. ]

Yeah, dude, it's me. Who's your lady friend?

[pitchick]

[Sorry Wally she only has enough cushion for one at a time. And BB, you don't have to be that embarrassed, she's already over it.]

[No, she's more shocked by the other thing.]

Y-you're human too?! But you're- And you said-

[Turns to Wally.]

And you said you're- And you look-

[Sentence formation is long gone at this point.]

What the hell is going on?!

[He grins sheepishly and laughs awkwardly]

Uh...you've been kidnapped by forces beyond our control to join us...other humans who were kidnapped, and fight against the forces of evil to save this world.

...surprise.

[Waves his hands in a weak cheer]

[ Wally shrugs and gives Yoko a very nonhelpful look. ]

Yeah, basically what he said.

Though there are apparently some people who weren't originally human running around here.

We're the real deal, though.

[pitchick]

[Evil forces? Saving the world? Not originally human? A green kid that is actually human? She's just. Lost on all levels.]

And you're sure I didn't just hit my head on something, right?
