New Arrivals Digicards On Mario Karts!
Characters: Everyone! (Only new arrivals are allowed in the Terminal Room)
When: 3 JUNE 2013
Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
Last month had been relatively calm, with only a new Dark Area being found.
But once again, that calm was disrupted. For the third consecutive time, an earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners. Mayhaps even some of the Choosen that have been here for a while, have predicted this to happen, today.
Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

All over
[ After meeting Lucemon, Yuuko took to walking around. She knew that going to her room and meeting her roommates were important, and probably what she should have done first, but she found herself more captivated by the surrounded city. There was a need to get herself acquainted with her surroundings and the people like her that were taken to help out. What was it called again? "Chosen Children" or something like that?]
Yuuko, just remember to leave enough time to greet your new roommates.
[Meeting Lucemon was quite the event. Personally she thought she'd have gotten a girl, but a boy digimon works too. It would be weird to live in a place where the contract wasn't valid. She couldn't even remember when she had interactions with men that wasn't just hand-shakes or beating them up. Regardless, so far Lucemon seemed pretty okay.]
Understood, Ruumin, but I'm kind of starving. Do you know where food is around here?
I can help you with that-- 'Ruumin'? Did you forget my name is Lucemon?
Of course not! It's a cuter, shorter nickname.

to keep them from being eaten by wild Digimon.That's... definitely a familiar face that catches Sonata's attention, though, and she's quick to drag Penguinmon with her as she scrambles to follow Yuuko to make sure it's not an imposter.]
no subject
Well, isn't she in a hurry.
Who's in a hurry?
[She turned to see what had caught his attention and brightened as she saw the familiar face. Quickly her arm shot into the air, waving at Sonata as she called out to her]
Ooooi, Sonata!
[Lucemon, however seemed sort of confused for a moment, but then soon smiled] Ah, you have a friend who's also chosen. How fortunate.
no subject
Yuuko! Look, Slowpoke, Yuuko's here, too!
I can see that well enough, thank you. [Penguinmon only cares if your friends are sane or not, Sonata.]
no subject
[What were the odds that other members would also be here. Now it wont feel as lonely. Lucemon was standing next to her quietly.]

[She smiled a little at this. Of course it would be these girls. Her attention turned to Sonata's Digimon. They really were all different, weren't they?]
This is your partner?

... Yuuko-san!?

Hey Makoto, what's with the helmet?
1/2
Umm, well, it's to... to... [ Thankfully(?), her partner is there to say it in her stead. Bokomon means well, really! ]
To protect her head from being bitten when she goes out of the city! Makoto's really worried about that for some reasons...
--Hey!
no subject
Never mind that though! Yuuko-san, are you alright?! You're... not hurt, are you?
no subject
[She didn't understand the worry since, but she figured it was warranted in some manner or another. What did catch her attention, however, was the threat of heads being eaten. So she turned to pose a question to Lucemon]
Is there really digimon who'd do that, Ruumin?
I would suppose she means the bigger, more dangerous evil digimon out there. I don't think they eat heads though.
[He was also rather confused by the notion and turned again to eye Makoto in curious wonderment.
1/2
I told her the same thing so many times, too. She still feels worried about it, anyway...
I-It's better safe than sorry! And... you know, it's to protect against other stuff, too!
no subject
But that's such a relief to hear... We were all really worried about you when you disappeared at Akibastar...!
no subject
[She had to think about that response for a moment or two before it clicked.]
Do you mean when I tried to go Center Nova? You've seen me since then, though.

However, she comes to a complete halt when she spots the familiar successor. ]

[Her and Lucemon both turned to see Orine there not to far away from them. Yuuko smiled and halted to turn and walk back over to the girl instead, Lucemon following close behind]
Yo, Orine. What are you doing here?
no subject
[ Gosh, Yuuko, that's what she wants to ask you! But, no, she's having a hard time trying to figure out what she wants to say here. ]
There's new arrivals I think and- Yuuko-san, did you just arrive here today? Are you alright- [ ... Annnnd, since she can't decide on one thing to start at, she's kind of rambling here. ]
no subject
Let me guess, you came to greet all of the new arrivals?

The little vampire was sitting on a bench, with a vaguely dog-shaped fluffball that might have been a Salamon leaning close enough for her to pet it without reaching too far. She seems to be either scratching its floppy ears or combing its fur with the little claws she has for fingernails, it was hard to tell. But the creature seems to be enjoying the process!
Flandre was close enough to hear the end of that, and she perked up a bit. Her wings, previously all folded up on her back, fluttered out into view where the sunlight could catch the prisms. The sight distracted her a moment--but, no, she was going to ask a question!]
You gave yours a name? A different name, I mean. I didn't know you could do that.
[Though that did seem a bit odd to her; there were so many of these creatures, how did they tell each other apart, if not with a name?]
no subject
The girl turned out to be just as interesting looking, Yuuko though. A smile formed on her fact at this, as she nodded, motioning to Lucemon who seemed to be flexing his own wings.]
It seemed like the smart thing to do. I don't really know how many other Lucemon could be here. Doesn' it seem better to call out a special name rather than "Yuuko's Lucemon!" or something like that?
[Lucemon on the other hand, shrugged his shoulders a bit. He wasn't so much resigning as he was acknowledging that she had a very minor point despite his distaste.]
no subject
What should your name be, then?
[The creature opens one eye, though doesn't otherwise move.]
I told you! I'm Salamon!
But what if I call you salmon by mistake? You're not a fish!
[...she wasn't quite sure what this creature was exactly, but they were most certainly not piscine in nature. Salamon frowns, then raises a paw to its face to direct its whispers towards Lucemon.]
Do you know what a Salmon looks like? I don't know that Digimon.
[Though judging from the frown on her face, Flandre quite readily heard that too.]
no subject
I've tried to explain it to my partner as well, but she seems set of this weird nickname instead of calling me Lucemon.
[Yuuko, on the other had was sort of laughing to herself.]
The information said something about evolving and changing, didn't it? It would just be too confusing to call you so many names. We'd lose track.
no subject
[Flandre pulls the creature's paw out of the way to squish its face and mouth into something that might have looked like a fish's mouth if you squinted and turned your head to the side.
It's a real testament to how much Salamon cares when it doesn't flip out or do much more than make a few garbled yips.]
A salmon is all silver and shiny and has fins and spots. And it lives in water, so it's not like you at all.
[And, inspired by what this person said:]
How about I call you Cyrille? I like Cyrille.
But--! [Though that's about all the canine fuzzball manages before Flandre squishes its cheeks again.
Fortunately since her unnatural strength was gone that didn't hurt, but oh the indignity.]
