Last month had been relatively calm, with only a new Dark Area being found.

But once again, that calm was disrupted.  For the third consecutive time, an earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners.  Mayhaps even some of the Choosen that have been here for a while, have predicted this to happen, today.

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

That still doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I guess using one thing for everyone to want instead of trading a whole bunch of things makes sense... but how are you supposed to ever settle on how much it's all worth?

Well, that's usually up to the market.

Like if both Noir and I buy a ball of yarn for five bits we'd need to sell it for six bits or more to make a profit.

Anyway! So if I try to sell it for ten bits and he sells it for six, obviously you're gonna buy it from him right? So I'll have to lower my price to be competitive.

So you usually sell things just above where people would buy it?

Right! That way when you're done with something, you'll have more bit to buy other stuff you might need later! And if you can't sell it, that's why people work for more bit instead.

considering how much you promote theft I'm surprised to hear you say that.

Theft is hard work if you want to be good at it. Just remember it's always better to work smart rather then hard.

And if you love your job it'll never feel like work.

I'm all for that, believe me. I'm just not used to having to work in the first place... Hiring a cat isn't usual practice from what I've heard.

But there is a certain grace and dignity in felines that I have always admired.

We're pretty admirable, it's true. Even if it wasn't a personal compliment, there's plenty to take away from someone wanting to emulate us.

Well with my luck I often wondered if I wasn't a black cat in a past life.

I don't know if it works like that... [ In Sissel's experience, there are no rebirths, just a chance for people to come back and try again if he gets there in time. ]
