New Arrivals Digicards On Mario Karts!

Last month had been relatively calm, with only a new Dark Area being found.

But once again, that calm was disrupted.  For the third consecutive time, an earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners.  Mayhaps even some of the Choosen that have been here for a while, have predicted this to happen, today.

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

[Neku had learned from his last attempt: megaphones do not help. He really can't see what Pi-Face saw in the things. Instead he's wandering around, looking for those that look especially lost.

And here's one for sure. The older man looks like he very well might have completely lost it.]

Hey! You okay?

[missingthebigone]

[Will doesn't seem to reply, but if you're paying attention, he presses his palms harder into his eyes. Gomamon, on the other hand, gives Neku her attention.]

I think I broke him! I came up to say hi and-and he just started breathing all weird and curled right up!

...panic attack maybe? [Neku mulls outloud. But he honestly knows nothing about this kinda thing. It makes sense that most people would freak out upon seeing all this.]

Hey, er.... Gomamon? [He remembers Hiccup's partner] Don't panic, I'm gonna see if this helps.

[He moves forward... and grabs Will's lapel and *crack* slaps him across the face. That always works on tv.]

[Gomamon makes a distressed little noise and looks back at her partner.]

I didn't mean to scare him...

[But it's Gomamon herself that is frightened when Neku spontaneously attacks her partner. She gasps and turns to try to climb up Will's knees to make sure he's okay, but hey, it seems like the slap to the face did snap Will out of it.]

What was that for!?

[He responds before realizing that oh. Oh that hurt. This person is real. He points immediately at Gomamon, who is nibbling on the ends of her claws and making upset little whimpering noises.]

Is there something there?

[After the Game Neku can understand doubting one's own perceptions. So he nods, and responds in his best attempt at a calming tone]

Yeah, she's real. All the weird animal people are. You're not insane.

[missingthebigone]

[Will rubs at his temples and shakily sighs.]

I don't remember how I got here and my head is killing me.

[Gomamon coos softly and reaches out to gently card her claws through Will's hair.]

It's the same way for all of us here. It's alright.... well okay not really, but there's no immediate danger.

[When he talks again, Will sounds incredibly stressed, almost to the point of anger.]

Look, this isn't the first time, I've been hallucinating for weeks, I think something is physically wrong with me, we need to call 911, this is a mental break.

[He swats Gomamon's paw away from his head and starts to stand up.]

[Nope Will, nope. You are not stable. Neku grabs his shoulders and tries to... heavily encourage him to sit back down]

Calm down, you're not going anywhere 'till I'm sure you're not gonna go find a clock tower somewhere, got it?

[missingthebigone]

[Gomamon frowns at Neku.]

Hey, he just said he's sick, be nice!

I work for the FBI, I'm not some crazed gunman!

[He looks at Gomamon and gives her a sympathetic look. He's not trying to be mean specifically, but at times like this he can't afford to be coddling]

Alright then. I hit you, right? You felt it?

[missingthebigone]

[Will nods, ignoring Gomamon as she nuzzles his knees comfortingly.]

So you acknowledge I'm real?

[Or he's so completely broken he's hallucinating pain and physical touch, which Neku ASSUMES is possible. Would be his luck to not be real]

[missingthebigone]

[Will sighs heavily.]

Unless I've progressed to physical hallucinations, yes.

And I'm acknowledging the trippy looking seal is real?

Animals can't talk, it's a basic fact of reality.

Ignore that for now, if you get hooked up on that there's no way you're gonna manage the rest of this.

[He even holds out his orange cell phone, cuz looool he has a feeling this guy is gonna take awhile]

[Will shakes his head and goes for his pocket, pulling out his own cell phone... Which he immediately discovers won't turn on.]

Oh! I was supposed to tell you! You need to go back and get your D-Terminal!

[He takes his own D-T out and shows it to Will]

Only thing that will get service here.

[missingthebigone]

[Will frowns at the device, but Gomamon tugs on his pantleg to get his attention.]

There's one for you back there! Let's go get it?

[She looks to Neku for assistance.]
