New Arrivals Digicards On Mario Karts!

Last month had been relatively calm, with only a new Dark Area being found.

But once again, that calm was disrupted.  For the third consecutive time, an earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners.  Mayhaps even some of the Choosen that have been here for a while, have predicted this to happen, today.

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

A couple of months now... And the devices... Uhh..

I dunno. I'm more of a magic guy. Sciencey stuff was always Mylene's thing, and she's not really here so... Oh! Where are my manners. I'm Ed! It's nice to meet you.

Months? [That doesn't seem to please him too much.]

I'm Naoya. Where did you learn magic?

A combination of being self taught, a bunch of ancient books, and a dryad.

I've had other teachers too, but she was the first one. It's nice to meet you, Naoya.

I've never met anyone who learned magic from a dryad. Are you from here?

[He knew that there were words beyond his own and even beyond the demon world, but he was still a long way from figuring out how to get to any of them, if it was possible at all.]

Nah... my world's way different. I can't feel the elements or cast any spells or anything here, and I'm pretty sure if I told any of the natives about a Reverse World, they'd just look at me funny. How about you? You've gotta be from somewhere else, right?

I'm from Tokyo, but not this particular version of it.

It appears this world may be a hub for many others.

You're really smart! It took me like a day to figure that one out. [There isn't an ounce of sarcasm to his voice.]

I'm from an island a little off the coast of Japan--well, that's where I was before here, anyways. Before that I was traveling another dimension for like three years. But thaaat's kind of a long story.

I've spent a lot of time considering that type of thing. [And now that he appears to have found the hub world, he's already thinking up ideas to draw power from it into his own.]

Could you enter another dimension by choice, or was it an accident?

[fuhrinkaed]

Oh me? Well... the first time was an accident. We got out on purpose using a magic boat.

At this point I could probably do it by force of will if I wanted to, though. I'm pretty strong...

The type of magic you possess can break through dimensions? I've found a way to connect to another world, but only under a very specific set of circumstances. small>[Congrats, you might be strong enough that he'll bother staying on your good side.]

[Luckily for Naoya that's not particularly hard.]

Well, breaking through the dimensions is the easy part. The hard part is getting between them and coming out the other side in one piece. From what Lucas told me, the most common result with a screwed up dimensional spell is 'becoming a puddle.'

Sooo I just don't screw up![Nodnod.]
