Hello Chosen Within the City

Who: The city!
What: Invasion of the Digivolved Yokomon and Koromon
When: June 28-June 30
Where: All over Terminal Tokyo

Just as Ryou predicted it was only several hours later that the first wave of Yokomon and Koromon have made their appearance. Except...they're not Yokomon and Koromon anymore. It appears that they have all Digivolved into various types of Champion Digimon on the way over from Server. None of the various types of Champion seem to even blink if they're attacked. Their first and only objective seems to be to lay ruin to the city and everything in it. At first any attacks will be ignored, but if someone proceeds to continue and attack them, they will attack.

They're difficult to beat, regardless of level. These Digimon may need two people working together even at Champion level. Each Digimon are much more difficult to defeat solo than they would be normally. One thing should easily be certain before the first night is out-- if you want the city to survive then you're going to need to work together.]

[[OOC: So here's how this will work guys-- unless you need a Digimon for various reasons: playing out the first Digivolution, Dark Digivolutions, or a general battle they will be played by you. You may request a modded NPC as per usual, but depending on the number/duties you may be turned down (we'll do our best, though). Keep in mind your character will not have an easy win on their own and that humans will be virtually ineffective.

Most of the NPC Chosen will, unfortunately, have other things they're working on, but you may be able to see a couple helping to beat back the Digimon trying to destroy Terminal Tokyo again.

There's all sorts of Champion levels to fight so pick and choose: Cyclonemon, Bullmon, Golemon, Harpymon, as well as many others will appear in the city, so don't be afraid to bring in a different kind of Champion Digimon from the DMA.

Remember to mark your subject titles with date, time, and even type of Digimon you will be fighting!]]

[Vilemon, of course, only goes further into the alley with the slash. Leormon doesn't really have any projectiles to get him out, but--

[And from Leormon's claws shoot webs! Rope-like webs, that he uses to grab the Vilemon and...throw it directly at Bullmon. It's an assist, okay.]

[It's a very good assist, though! Bullmon's horns are a great weapon, the way they point forward unlike a normal bull's. Great for stabbing.

Seeing the Vilemon come his way, he rears up on his hind legs and tries to align himself with the nasty critter. He's...he's come to like stabbing things lately. Arcee's not sure what to make of this, but hey, if it gets the job done...]

[Leormon lets his webs go right as Vilemon reaches Bullmon. Flying, flying...and stab. The Digimon screams and then bursts into data.

Though the act is violent, Juri's seen worse. She lets out a sigh of relief and Leormon slumps against the wall.]

[Bullmon seems to get a kick out of it.]

Ha ha, ew...

[Arcee's simply glad no one got hurt. Looking over at Juri, there's just a tiny bit of sympathy in that stern look of hers.]

Come on, we'll take you somewhere safer. Nothing wrong with taking a break.

[After all, you can't fight if you don't have the fuel. Bullmon lowers himself for Juri, just in case she and Leormon want to climb on. Think of it like a bovine taxi service.]

[What a nice surprise. Since Leormon can't carry her -- which he's honestly been a little bit ashamed of, he's her partner hmph -- it'll be nice to not have to walk.]

Thanks so much, we just got here so I have no idea what's safe. Or...if anywhere is...

[Arcee helps the two up and as soon as everyone's safe and settled, Bullmon gently stands himself up and gallops at a brisk, but comfortable pace.]

All aboard the Bullmon express!!

Don't worry, convention center's as safe as it comes. Take some time to recharge, then do whatever you feel is necessary.

[Whether that be staying there or rejoining the fight. Arcee's not about to force anything, she'd be the last one to have any say when it comes to who should and shouldn't battle.]

[As they run on, Juri's really thankful to be able to sit down. More than that, she thinks a little rest would be good....for her and Leormon especially. However...]

Is there any telling if these attacks will stop? Either way, when I'm rested, I want to continue defending this place.

[Her hands slide on to his head. Of course he still wants to fight... She does too, to help, to not be useless, but... It's really sinking in now that she has him back and she doesn't want to lose him again.]

It'll thin out eventually, this isn't the first time we've dealt with this scrap.

Good plan, though. Seeing you fight that good at your worst, I'd hate to tangle with you at your best. More help we can get, the better.

[Sadly, since she's busy making sure they don't run into anything, Arcee doesn't notice Juri's troubles right off the bat. But trust her, Juri, she's been there multiple times. She just never got anyone back.]

Convention center isn't much further from here. We'll be there in no time.

I have Juri to thank for my strength.

[That makes her shrink in a little, in embarrassment. A hand slips down to her bag, out of habit, and she laughs a little while she speaks.] I'm not sure that's true. You're plenty strong on your own.

[But Leormon shakes his head, best he can. To Arcee:] My Tamer is intelligent, resourceful, and more than anything courageous, like a true lion. When we're recovered, I'll be able to rely on her to help me again.

[Juri's a little speechless. He still thinks the world of her, even though...]

[That gets a small 'heh' out of Arcee, like a happy little laugh. Strength was always a celebrated trait for Cybertronians, and Arcee had very strong feelings when it came to valuing one's partner. To hear both pride in strength and love for their partner coming out of Leormon, well it made her happy to hear.]

Then I hope you make 'em cry.

[Oh, if only she knew about the emotion going on behind her.

Either way, Bullmon makes it to the convention center, slowing down to a trot before stopping completely at the building.]

[It's a big jump down, but Juri slides off, carefully. It's sort of relieving to see a nice place to rest.]

Arcee gives a small smile and nod, steering Bullmon and getting ready to re-enter the battlefield. She'd love to stay and chat, but crushing monster heads is calling her right now.]
