Hello Chosen Within the City
Who: The city!
What: Invasion of the Digivolved Yokomon and Koromon
When: June 28-June 30
Where: All over Terminal Tokyo
Just as Ryou predicted it was only several hours later that the first wave of Yokomon and Koromon have made their appearance. Except...they're not Yokomon and Koromon anymore. It appears that they have all Digivolved into various types of Champion Digimon on the way over from Server. None of the various types of Champion seem to even blink if they're attacked. Their first and only objective seems to be to lay ruin to the city and everything in it. At first any attacks will be ignored, but if someone proceeds to continue and attack them, they will attack.
They're difficult to beat, regardless of level. These Digimon may need two people working together even at Champion level. Each Digimon are much more difficult to defeat solo than they would be normally. One thing should easily be certain before the first night is out-- if you want the city to survive then you're going to need to work together.]
[[OOC: So here's how this will work guys-- unless you need a Digimon for various reasons: playing out the first Digivolution, Dark Digivolutions, or a general battle they will be played by you. You may request a modded NPC as per usual, but depending on the number/duties you may be turned down (we'll do our best, though). Keep in mind your character will not have an easy win on their own and that humans will be virtually ineffective.
Most of the NPC Chosen will, unfortunately, have other things they're working on, but you may be able to see a couple helping to beat back the Digimon trying to destroy Terminal Tokyoagain.
There's all sorts of Champion levels to fight so pick and choose: Cyclonemon, Bullmon, Golemon, Harpymon, as well as many others will appear in the city, so don't be afraid to bring in a different kind of Champion Digimon from the DMA.

[It's like everything happens in slow motion.
Turning, Maya sees the boomerang coming toward here and she uselessly raises her arm to cover her face. It's coming toward her and really she should smack it out of the way with the hockey stick or move or do something but no. She just raises her arm and is about to close her eyes when she can't see the boomerang anymore because Cam's right there and he shouldn't be there because she told him not to move and shit the boomerang is going to hit him. Maya's going to try and push them both down, get them out of the way because Cam is hurt and he's not supposed to be and oh god this is -
Maya hears the crack, and then she feels more than sees Cam collapsing onto her, staggering under his weight when they collide. She's not really that big and Cam is athletic, but she carries around a cello so once she adjusts to him then it's a little difficult, but not impossible.]
Hyokomon, help!
Don't worry, Maya! I'm here! [Reaching Cam and Maya, Hyokomon immediately goes after the Sepikmon, jumping up to try and bring her sword down on its head.]
Cam? Cam, we're gonna be okay. Just. Just stay with me, ok?

[Cam's head bobs, or maybe he nods, but either way he's having a hard time staying standing. His arm hangs limp and he's completely leaning on Maya, which is not good at all.
Through it all, he's trying to say something, but he can't, not really, it hurts too much. He's trying, though. Trying. Like, I'm here or it's fine or I'm okay, to reassure her.
And he's pretty terrified, in the very back of his mind that can still process what's going on, not dulled by pain. The glowing crest clears out some of the cobwebs. Just a few. Enough for him to speak, though he doesn't quite understand what's going on.]
S'okay. It's...
[Okay, no more speaking-- not only because everything's hurting, but because a bright light bursts from the mob where Seasarmon disappeared. Multiple shining arrows, out into the sky.
Beaten and bloody, she half-leaps, half-falls out of the pile of Digimon, some injured and some destroyed.]
CAMPBELL! [A very mad lion-dog.]

[The cry comes from above... seconds before Masaru and GeoGreymon leap down, joining the fray from a position up above. They land near where his partner is fighting, and GeoGreymon wastes no time in trying to assist by blasting some of her attackers with Mega Burst]
Aniki! [his partner cries this as soon as he's done losing his attack] You should evolve me! We have to take these guys out!
... No....
[GeoGreymon's eyes widen in confusion, and he spins around... and he sees Masaru staring at Cam intently. Moments later, the young man clenches his fist, and cries out to Cam]
CAM! I'VE SEEN THAT SYMBOL BEFORE! Taichi told me about it when we fought alongside each other! IT'S THE CREST OF COURAGE, CAM! It wouldn't have come to you if you didn't have the power... the strength to prove that you have that inside you!
YOU CAN DO THIS! You've always been able to! NOW COMBINE THAT POWER WITH YOUR PARTNER'S!

[Cam processes the words, barely. He understands that Masaru's there, and that they'll be okay. He understands that Lucette's up, raising hell now for all her exhaustion. He understands that Hyokomon's protecting Maya.
The crest, still in front of him, he doesn't understand as much. But apparently, it means something pretty strong. His eyes are barely open, and he can't reach out to grab it. But nevertheless, it shines, a brilliant orange.
And then Lucette lights up.]
Seasarmon, digivolve to... Cerberumon!
[Now that...that opens his eyes. Lucette is bigger now, tall as Cam himself, but what's really changed is her appearance. Contrary to her heavenly theme so far, she is dark and devil-like. For a moment, Cam thinks he did it wrong.]
MADDOG FIRE!
[As fire pours from her mouth the Digimon around her light up and then vanish, one after the other. If they have time to show surprise, it's only a second. The fire touches each enemy in the area, but avoids Cam, Maya, Hyokomon, Masaru, and GeoGreymon. And then, the fire dies down.
It's over in literally a few seconds.
Not quite what he expected today.]

[And then, from a mixture of pain and exhaustion, he passes out. Sorry Maya.]

[taking out his digivice and spinning it through the air before catching it, he marshaled his Digi-Soul and funneled it into the device, shouting...]
DIGI-SOUL, FULL CHARGE!
[The act produced a burst of power, which flew out and absorbed into GeoGreymon's body, transforming it into a winged cybernetic dinosaur]
Geogreymon, evolve... RIZEGREYMON!
[now Masaru tried to wave Cam and Maya over]
You guys get on RizeGreymon's back! He can fly... and you guys should be safer up there when any other digimon come after us! I mean, Cam's hurt, right?
