Who: Everyone taking part in the Adventure Time! Event.
What: Chosen trying to find their way around the changed File Island.
When: August 1st - 3rd
Where: File Island
Early in the morning, wherever they are, Chosen are tormented by data streams. They aren't very accurate data stream, so they may miss. But they ones who are hit by them will find themselves on some part of File Island, and they'll find themselves closed off from the outside world.
They'll find video and audio recordings don't work. They'll find, if they've been to the island, that some places may not appear like they always have. They'll find that this isn't quite the File Island as it was before.
Wherever they are on the island, whoever they run into, something will be constant: their digivices will blink, pointing them like a compass toward File Island's center, Infinity Mountain.
It's time to go and see what that's about.
[ooc: This will be the catch-all log for the event! Below will be threads of all the places, both basic and specific, that your characters will be able to go. The last thread will be for the Infinity Mountain event endgame, and though your characters can arrive there early, it will take place on day three of the event.
NPCs will drift through the threads, depending on where you are. For the purposes of this event, if you are not okay with NPC interaction, please say so in your thread, for example if you and someone else have a non-NPC thread idea. Otherwise, all threads are open to NPC intervention, though not all will receive it. Please also mark which day your threads take place on. And remember, have fun! INFINITY MOUNTAIN
day 3 | end
They might recognize some of the kids, the Chosen, but some of them younger, like Koushirou. They stand looking up at an odd castle at the top of the mountain, which is very much there, and Black Gears swarm toward the building, resulting in a Devimon, much larger than any in existence, rising from the top.
And no matter what the new Chosen do or say, whatever attacks or comments thrown at the original Chosen or the virus Digimon, they will continue on, as if they haven't heard anything.
[ooc: You have your choice of whichever you want to watch. The first is the scene in Japanese, the second in English. Anyone on the island can get in a reaction tag if they'd like, going to about 3:18 on the Japanese or 12:35 on the English. The next NPC tag will cover the rest of the battle.]

Not even Biyomon sending a spiral twister at the giant Devimon. Nothing changed at all. "What... what is this? What are we seeing?"

Jinx stood nearby arms folded across her chest as the scene played out. A freshly evolved Tsukaimon flapping behind her eyes wide as the battle started to heat up muttering to himself.
"Chosen heroes drawn together by fate, each unleashing their true power but futile in the face of true evil. Will a hero rise? Will the light return?"
Jinx rolled her eyes at his narration but she had to admit...it was pretty intense.

"It seems like images from the past. I recognize some of those children and they seem several years too young."
Veemon looked from his partner to the images and shifted uneasily.
"But then...whose memory is this?"

Not only does a match rise, but the digivices of the other Chosen contribute to the final attack, and the chaos ends. The Chosen are victorious, with Angemon's sacrifice. As the battle finishes, all of the digivices belonging to the newer Chosen brighten, like the ones of the past, and shoot beams of light toward Devimon's broken, abandoned castle.
And the island around them, around all the Chosen on it, flickers once, twice...and the fog cutting it off from the outside world clears.
[ooc: If you're watching the Englsh dub, the vision continues until rough 17:37, or when the island starts to come back together. If you're watching the Japanese, it ends about five seconds before the video runs out.]

Waver was at a loss. He looked to his Digivice and then to the astonished Palmon beside him. Honestly, he felt a little sick. The way that Angemon had disappeared in front of who he could only assume was their partner was...uncomfortably familiar.
"Is--" His voice was unsteady, Waver clearing his throat before continuing. "Is it...over?"

And what was going on now?
"I... maybe?" Chika said, not sure herself. Was it over, or were they going to have to fight a Devimon like those Myotismon they had to fight in the Dark Area when the other Masaru went missing?

Rita gave him a stern look. "Weren't you paying attention?"
"Of course I was. How could I not? This is better then 3D!"
She sighed and rubbed her forehead. "Those gear things...if we find anymore we should probably break them...or try and lock it up so Alex can study it."
