After an endless dream, in this world of nothingness, it seems as if our beloved dreams will lose
Who: Everyone taking part in the Adventure Time! Event.
What: Chosen trying to find their way around the changed File Island.
When: August 1st - 3rd
Where: File Island
Early in the morning, wherever they are, Chosen are tormented by data streams. They aren't very accurate data stream, so they may miss. But they ones who are hit by them will find themselves on some part of File Island, and they'll find themselves closed off from the outside world.
They'll find video and audio recordings don't work. They'll find, if they've been to the island, that some places may not appear like they always have. They'll find that this isn't quite the File Island as it was before.
Wherever they are on the island, whoever they run into, something will be constant: their digivices will blink, pointing them like a compass toward File Island's center, Infinity Mountain.
It's time to go and see what that's about.
[ooc: This will be the catch-all log for the event! Below will be threads of all the places, both basic and specific, that your characters will be able to go. The last thread will be for the Infinity Mountain event endgame, and though your characters can arrive there early, it will take place on day three of the event.
NPCs will drift through the threads, depending on where you are. For the purposes of this event, if you are not okay with NPC interaction, please say so in your thread, for example if you and someone else have a non-NPC thread idea. Otherwise, all threads are open to NPC intervention, though not all will receive it. Please also mark which day your threads take place on. And remember, have fun! The map and the ooc info can help with location issues.]

day 1
Not the dreamland beach either. Pretty sure her dreams don't have dozens of random phone booths lying around.
"You've got to be kidding me! This again?!"
She slammed her fists down, drawing up a cloud of sand and salt. So, let's evaluate the situation at hand.
Lost? Check.
No supplies at hand? Check.
Annoying bee who thankfully hasn't woken up yet? Che-
"What did you do this time?"
-Scratch that last part. "I didn't do anything you stupid bug. What did you do?"
"Me? You're the one who just got back from her vacation while other people were doing something actually important."
"It wasn't a vacation and you know that." And the yelling match between the two was well underway. Back and forths on whose fault this is, making fun of the fact Yoko was in her pajamas, punching Fanbeemon in the face, same old same old. Sorry to anyone they happen wake up.

[It seemed like a good idea at the time, but maybe he and Shepard should have taken it a little easier on the celebrating. The arguing coming from the next apartment was killing his head. He shifted a little closer to Shepard, and even through the fog of his mild hangover he could tell something was wrong. He may be stating the incredibly obvious, but this wasn't their bed.
[He opened his eyes, forcing himself to sit up, feeling the sand sifting between his fingers and toes as his weight shifted. They were on a beach. Great. It must have been a data stream, just like the one that grabbed Shepard earlier. Must have grabbed whoever was arguing over there too ...
[He turned over to find out just who it was, and there's surprise number 2.]
... Yoko?
no subject
[Someone is fighting, she's hungover, and Garrus is talking. Looks like it's time to be awake.]
Ugh, what...
[She moves to sit up and finds that she can't. There's something warm laying out across her legs.]
Cadet, wake up.
[Monodramon makes an almost canine yip and rolls over, landing in the sand and frantically looking around with bleary eyes.]
no subject
Eh? [Yoko turned her head and- oh, she wasn't alone like she thought she was. No Fanbeemon doesn't count. And those someones were her teacher and- some woman Yoko's seen on the D-Terminal a few times and never talked to before. And they were also in sleepwear. And Yoko's face was a few shades from her hair color.]
G-Garrus? [A quick turn away to try and compose herself. Gotta play this off smooth.] Sorry, didn't mean to wake you guys.
no subject
[Meanwhile, Garrus notices the surprise and blushing, when it was this obvious, how could he not? He wonders why until it dawns on him that he's not wearing a shirt. This day just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?]
It's fine, don't worry about it. [It's probably better that he's awake right now, given they're somewhere without any supplies, weaponry, or any other survival gear.] I, ah, I don't suppose you have any idea where we are, do you?
no subject
I am officially elevating the teleporting bullshit to priority one.
[Unbothered by her own state of undress, she stands up.]
Cadet, digivice.
[Monodramon promptly unclips Shepard's digivice from where it was on his wing, handing it over. She attaches it to the neck of the shirt she was sleeping in, where it nestles comfortably with the dog tag she didn't give Monodramon and her crest.]
I haven't got a clue where we are.
no subject
[Nope, instead he has to deal with a partner that ignores his pathetic whimpers. She'll focus on something more worth her attention, like fixing her hair up into a ponytail with a scrunchy.]
I got nothing either. [Pushing herself up, Yoko got a good 360 degree look around.] It's a beach. [As someone who hasn't seen any back home, good work Yoko.] Geeze, those weird streams sure like to dump people off in strange places, don't they?
[Sigh. Girl can't catch a break, can she? Well, complaining isn't going to do a thing, so she turns to Shepard.]
Sorry, I don't think we've been introduced. I'm Yoko.
no subject
Commander Shepard. You've already met my boyfriend, I take it?
[Monodramon nudges her hip with his nose. Shepard sighs and pats him on the head.]
This is Monodramon.
no subject
We weren't the only ones having some trouble with our guns. To make a long story short, after some friendly competition I've been helping Yoko improve her marksmanship, just a few pointers here and there.
no subject
Well I hope you don't mind Shellmon taking potshots at you from the ocean.
You on his territory bitches.]
no subject
[Yoko shakes the mental images away nononononono. Besides, she still had her own idiot. Who was back home. Leaving her here. Alone.]
[And Fanbeemon laughing did not help matters.]
Oh this is rich. [Before another word can be said, Yoko starts stomping Fanbeemon deeper into the sand.]
Shut up! Shut up! Shut up you stupid bug! [In the midst of her fury, Yoko suddenly stopped, hearing something in the distance.] ...Hey do you two hear something-? [Suddenly one of those potshots landed right by her feet, the shock knocking her right on her ass.] W-what the hell?!
no subject
[Hopefully she doesn't mind him grabbing her as he dives behind the nearest phone booth, pulling her along for the ride.
[Normally, step two is return fire, suppress the target and get the angle on him, but not having any gun is going to get in the way of that. As wrong as it feels to have someone fighting his battles for him, it looks like Angemon's going to have to deal with this one.
[He grabs his digivice, and Patamon flies forward.]
Patamon digivolve to ... Angemon!
[Angemon blocks the next shot Shellmon fires at the beach, using his staff to deflect the brunt of the blow.]
Let us be, and we'll leave peacefully, and no one has to get hurt. I'd rather not have to fight you, but if you threaten my friends, you will regret it.
[Angemon whirls his staff, bracing himself for a fight if it has to come to that.]
This is your chance to do the right thing. I suggest you take it.
sorry this is so late guys!! OTL
[She fights the battle instincts that tell her to start with a biotic charge and follows Garrus back towards the phone booths. Cadet, on the the other hand, takes off towards the water, determination on his face.]
Let's show them Strikedramon, Cadet!
You got it, Commander!
[The little dragon is grinning as he reaches the water, just in time for the light of Shepard's digivice to reach him.]
Monodramon digivolve to... Strikedramon!!
[One problem, though. Strikedramon has the offensive capacity to at least try to hit Shellmon from the beach... But into the water he goes. Shepard seems to immediately know something is wrong.]
Fuck. I don't think he can swim.
ditto
[Fanbeemon was keeping guard over his partner as the two other Digimon digivolved and moved in on the target, clearly itching to get in on the fight but surprisingly kept close to Yoko to make sure she was safe enough.]
You still alive?
[Yoko gets her bearings in, keeping her back close to cover and an eye trained on the enemy.] You're joking, right? This isn't my first time getting shot at you know. [Despite the bumbling start, Yoko wasn't talking out of her ass here. She was already looking for any strategy she could muster from the situation.]
Great, one can't swim... [Think Yoko, think.] Hey bug, can you get me a lookout? High enough to stay out of its range.
You mean high enough to stay out of the way.
Oh just do it! I don't have time to fight with you over this. [Fanbeemon sighs indignantly before taking to the sky.] Don't do anything stupid. All you have to do is find me an opening.
