Who: Everyone taking part in the Adventure Time! Event.
What: Chosen trying to find their way around the changed File Island.
When: August 1st - 3rd
Where: File Island

Early in the morning, wherever they are, Chosen are tormented by data streams. They aren't very accurate data stream, so they may miss. But they ones who are hit by them will find themselves on some part of File Island, and they'll find themselves closed off from the outside world.

They'll find video and audio recordings don't work. They'll find, if they've been to the island, that some places may not appear like they always have. They'll find that this isn't quite the File Island as it was before.

Wherever they are on the island, whoever they run into, something will be constant: their digivices will blink, pointing them like a compass toward File Island's center, Infinity Mountain.

It's time to go and see what that's about.

[ooc: This will be the catch-all log for the event! Below will be threads of all the places, both basic and specific, that your characters will be able to go. The last thread will be for the Infinity Mountain event endgame, and though your characters can arrive there early, it will take place on day three of the event.

NPCs will drift through the threads, depending on where you are. For the purposes of this event, if you are not okay with NPC interaction, please say so in your thread, for example if you and someone else have a non-NPC thread idea. Otherwise, all threads are open to NPC intervention, though not all will receive it. Please also mark which day your threads take place on. And remember, have fun! The map and the ooc info can help with location issues.]

[At Arcee, those fists drop finally, swinging to his sides. Can't say he's upset at the meetup--it could have definitely been worse. But it's slightly humorous, to say the least.]

Seems like we always meet up when scrap's goin' down. If I believed in that kinda stuff, I'd say the world's doin' it on purpose.

[Like say, make them be chaparones.]

So is this like...our first date?

[Wheeljack's about to intercept that, but something catches his attention. That moan. Didn't sound overly pleasant.]

...

[And suddenly, he's on guard.]

The scrap was that.

[Bullmon's head whips over towards the direction of the moan in a very over dramatic fashion.]

THAT would be the sound of someone trying to ruin my special alone time!! YEAH BUDDY? WELL NO ONE ASKED YOUR OPINION--

[Arcee's quick to cover his mouth with her hand, her expression back to her usual seriousness. This is no time for messing around.]

Sounds like we weren't the only ones who got dumped here. Whoever it is must've got hurt in the process.

[Rescue mission? Rescue mission.]

[Sheepmon looks in the direction of the moan too, more a little -spooked- about it than angry. Why were creepy things in a power plant? Was that normal?]

Should we go check it out? I mean...we don't HAVE to...

[Wheeljack, on the other hand, grabs her by the horn.]

Nah-uh. I'd rather know what we're dealin' with. Leavin' it could be bad for us later.

And, oh look, we're already set to fight. Let's go.

[She, as well, grabs Bullmon by the horn, turning him in the direction of the noise. Thank goodness for paranoia, now they don't have to waste time digivolving.

Arcee leads her giant bull as he sadly plods behind her, head hung low. This was supposed to be a romantic get away...]

You guys owe us after this. The one time fate brings us together, you gotta get all "defend and fighty" on me.

[They'll find, in an adjacent room, a pile of machinery, though that's not nearly as interesting as what's beneath it.

It's an Andromon, seemingly unconscious and the source of the moaning. From his torso down, he's pinned by heavy steel plates, nonsensical metal objects, and pipes.

[Wheeljack's soon to follow, giving You's horn a little shove in the direction, as if to get her moving as well. With that, he takes point too, keeping his guard up just in case any one less friendly decided to pop around the corner.

You can only gaze at his back in frustration. Sprocket wasn't the only one wanting that romantic getaway. Just...SOME sort of free time would be nice!]

I know what you mean. Can't even get a break with everything happening all at once!

[Wheeljack keeps silent, peeking his head around the corner and into the room. He can't say he expected the machinery to be piled up like that, nor did he expect an Andromon. Probably the Andromon even less.]

Guess someone forgot to call for cleanup.

Guess someone isn't a Wrecker.

[haha, see, she remembered the saying.]

Come on. By the look of things, we are cleanup.

[Sprocket perks up, mimicking the sounds of construction vehicles as he begins scooping up metal plates and other scrap metals in his horns. He's almost a little too eager to help if it means acting ridiculous.]

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

Should get...whoevermon out of here in no time.

Just call me Bulldozermon!

[That gets a small smirk out of him. He's flattered you actually paid attention to that. Or...as flattered as Wheeljack can get. He gives her a playful nudge, stepping forward and tilting his head to You.]

Go on, help your...date.

[You seems to light up at that, leaping over to help him. Her horns aren't nearly as good at picking up, so she's going to go for the 'shove everything everywhere' approach.]

Yeah! And call me...Sweepmon!

[Okay that was bad. Meanwhile, Wheeljack's working his way over to Andromon, trying to get a closer look.]

[While Sprocket cleans (and playfully chases after Sweepmon when he finds the time), Arcee walks over towards Wheeljack and takes a peek.]

What do you think it is?

[Clearly it's some sort of digiguy, but he's metal. That makes Arcee extremely jealous curious over the matter. She'd also like to know what the hell happened here, she's really hoping ceiling collapses aren't common here.]

Beats me.

[Obviously a digithingy, but they seemed to have hundreds of sub 'species', at least in Wheeljack's mind. He steps a bit closer, hands raised in case it's dangerous, reaching out towards it.]

Seems to be in pain from all the rubble.

[There's a moments pause as Arcee gives Wheeljack a look.]

Ya think?

Less yammering, more cleaning! Just 'cause our date got ruined, doesn't mean you guys can have your own. I always do all the work...

[But Sprocket has managed to move a large portion of the rubble by now.]

[Andromon's eyes open, and they're glowing. His organic leg pulses for a moment, as a black gear appears stuck in it, and he reaches out his hand to grab Wheeljack, as he's closest.]

[There's a slight smirk before his attention turns to Sprocket, perking an eyebrow.]

It's not a d-

[He's about to finish that sentence, really! But something else -literally- catches that attention. In the form of glowing eyes and a grab of his arm. And, like a normal person, he'll just try to tear that arm free.]

Hey, I'm not touchy-feely with just anyone, scrapheap!

[robotfightclub]

[Wheeljack, when are you ever touchy-feely?

Not wanting to wait and see if this is some kind of misunderstanding, Sprocket immediately changes into offensive mode and rams his body at Andromon, hoping it'll get him to let go of Wheeljack. ...Hopefully Wheeljack can somehow get out of the way of that.]

Hands off, buddy!

[You could say Wheeljack dodged that. Although tack the word 'barely' onto that sentence. His arm thankfully didn't meet those horns, but he certainly had to pull himself out of that grip.]

Sprocket, you-

[Speaking of You, she's here too! And immediately ready to back Bullmon up if he should call for it. She gives a slight snort as she positions herself in front of the two, horns lowered and ready.]

Yeah! Who do you think you are touching someone's partner like that!?

[adventuremons]

[Sprocket's attack does well to make Andromon let go of Wheeljack. But it doesn't do much else, as he rises and stares blankly at the Chosen and their partners.]

All intruders shall be punished! Gatling Attack!

[From his breastplate, two missiles fire at You and Sprocket.]

[Sprocket's sudden gusto disappears pretty fast when he sees those missiles, quickly pushing You with his head in hopes to get both her and him out of the way of the attack.]

We're not intruders on purpose, honest!

You know, if this was the thanks we were gonna get, we should've left him under that pile of scrap.

[Arcee grabs her crest, which currently takes residence in her jacket pocket. Her digivice, in turn, begins to glow.]

I'm not taking any chances.

Bullmon digivolve to... Vajramon!

[The much larger Sprocket pulls out his swords, taking a position that's ready to fight. If Andromon wants to rumble, he's got it.]

[Thankfully, You is mostly made of fluff, so pushing her is relatively easy, especially for someone like Bullmon. She's moved aside with a soft little scurry, watching the missiles fly past.]

My hero! ...[A snort] Now let's kick this guys butt!

[Wheeljack watches as Bullmon grows in size, silently impressed by all the flash.]

Dual wielding. I like it.

[But he's quick to get back to business, using a hand signal to get You to remain back.]

You, provide support from a distance. Don't get in Sprocket's way.

You got it!

Do not approach! Your entrance is prohibited!

[From Andromon's arm module, a glowing blade of energy fires, mostly at Sprocket, though its reach is vast.]

[Holding both his swords out, he swings them in such a way that sends out his own blades of energy, but since there's two of them they're shaped much like an X.]

Deva Blade!!

[The attack collides with Andromon's and causes a powerful explosion.

Sprocket, however, doesn't appear bothered by it.]

Sheepmon, my dear, I'll keep him distracted. See if you can attack from behind!

[You watches the Digimon before her, rather impressed at his strength. To think it came from a little Tapirmon...heck, even a Bullmon. She's definitely swooning (as much as a sheep can)

It's brief, though, as she has to shield her eyes from the light of the explosion, immediately getting back into battle mindset.

But the way he talks is so rom-NO, FOCUS.]

You got it! I'll back you up no problem!

[She scurries off, to make a stealthy way around the digimon, without Andromon catching onto their little plan. Hopefully a pink sheep is subtle enough.]

[adventuremons]

[Lucky for them, it seems Andromon is focused on the more powerful opponent. Another blade forms from his arm and he fires it off, followed by another - and another! Rapid-fire!]

Retreat, digital menaces!

[Yes, good! With the attention on him, Sprocket can continue to hold defense. Taking his blades once more, he doesn't fire anything, but instead spins them rapidly much like a propeller. This shields him from the oncoming assault and he smirks confidently.]

Surely you can do better than that!

[...Much of this is a bluff, though, because even though he can withstand Andromon's rapid fire, he can't exactly fire any attacks back at him. Just another reason why he's so happy You was able to sneak by. If she can get a good shot, then just maybe they can knock him down and thrash him.]

[While Wheeljack makes sure You makes the go-around, he can't help but notice Sprocket's swordsmanship. It was...impressive, to say the least. He remembers doing something slightly similar once.]

Gotta admit, your cow's pretty good, Arcee.

[What? A genuine compliment from Wheeljack? SAY IT ISN'T SO.]

[You's made her way around to Andromon's back, pumping herself up mentally before letting anything go.]

Focus, You...Focus...You can do this! I mean...I can do this! Or You. That's my name...WHATEVER. I'm ready.

[Her eyes harden, staring straight at her target, which is the small of Andromon's back. There's a quick glance to Vajramon before she aims her Wool Ball Booster, starting to charge it up.]

Wool Grenade!!

[And those grenades shoot out from her pack, aimed directly at Andromon to knock him down. Sure, it'd only stun, but hopefully it'd bring a little bit of hurt too.]

[Direct hit! The attack quells the onslaught of energy blades...and takes him down to his knees! The organic leg starts sparking, quite a bit. Maybe it's a weak point?]
