After an endless dream, in this world of nothingness, it seems as if our beloved dreams will lose

Who: Everyone taking part in the Adventure Time! Event.
What: Chosen trying to find their way around the changed File Island.
When: August 1st - 3rd
Where: File Island

Early in the morning, wherever they are, Chosen are tormented by data streams. They aren't very accurate data stream, so they may miss. But they ones who are hit by them will find themselves on some part of File Island, and they'll find themselves closed off from the outside world.

They'll find video and audio recordings don't work. They'll find, if they've been to the island, that some places may not appear like they always have. They'll find that this isn't quite the File Island as it was before.

Wherever they are on the island, whoever they run into, something will be constant: their digivices will blink, pointing them like a compass toward File Island's center, Infinity Mountain.

It's time to go and see what that's about.

[ooc: This will be the catch-all log for the event! Below will be threads of all the places, both basic and specific, that your characters will be able to go. The last thread will be for the Infinity Mountain event endgame, and though your characters can arrive there early, it will take place on day three of the event.

NPCs will drift through the threads, depending on where you are. For the purposes of this event, if you are not okay with NPC interaction, please say so in your thread, for example if you and someone else have a non-NPC thread idea. Otherwise, all threads are open to NPC intervention, though not all will receive it. Please also mark which day your threads take place on. And remember, have fun! The map and the ooc info can help with location issues.]

[It almost looks like Palmon's attack is going to hit, but Unimon barely avoids it. Unimon charges up its Holy Shot, but it's not taking very careful aim as it fires. It just wants to hurt something, and it doesn't much care what.]

[Well that doesn't Lillet very much at this point. It seems like she's always bound to run into some kind of trouble or another. Meanwhile, Coronamon has Digivolved to Firamon, and Lillet might be just a tiny bit relieved that him changing into Coredramon was a one-time thing.]

Fira Bomb!

Palmon, you know what to do--!

[Waver himself had stepped closer to Lillet as he shouted to his partner; there wasn't much he could do, but taking a protective stance in front of her felt natural. Palmon Digivolved to Wizardmon in a flash at Waver's indication, brandishing his staff.]

Electro Squall!

[Firamon's attack grazes Unimon, putting him directly in the line of Wizardmon's Electro Squall. It staggers for a moment because of the attack, and then barrels forward toward its opponents.]

[There's not much Lillet can do, either, which is still something that's going to take a bit more time to get used to. They have to rely on their Digimon to fight for them in this world, something Lillet still isn't too comfortable with.]

Fira Claw! [Hopefully that'll stop Unimon.]

[Wizardmon looked to Firamon and opted to attack from a different angle; he moved out of the way of Unimon's charge and waited for it to pass before striking from behind.]

Electro Squall!

[Unimon dodges Firamon's attack, which puts it in line of the Electro Squall. As the lightning strikes, it hits the Black Gear in Unimon's back and cracks it. The Unimon seems disoriented and confused, turning around to try and look at its back.]

[Hesitantly, Lillet approaches once it seems safe.]

Are you... alright?

[velveteenmage]

[Waver stepped forward with her, Wizardmon at his side ready to attack if something went wrong.]

What was that thing?

[Whatever it is, it's not good if the fact that Unimon keeps trying to bite at it is any indication. Unimon wants the thing gone.]

Should we... try removing it? [UNSURE. For all she knows it'll blow up in their faces if they try.]

[velveteenmage]

M-maybe we should, yeah.

[Waver stepped forward cautiously and against his better judgment. He reached out to put a hand on the cracked gear and hopefully pull it out, silently praying he didn't get kicked in the face for his trouble.]

[adventuremons]

[Unimon struggles for a moment, but calms down when it realizes that Waver's not going to hurt it. There's two pieces of the gear, but it's missing a chunk from Unimon flailing.]
