After an endless dream, in this world of nothingness, it seems as if our beloved dreams will lose
Who: Everyone taking part in the Adventure Time! Event.
What: Chosen trying to find their way around the changed File Island.
When: August 1st - 3rd
Where: File Island
Early in the morning, wherever they are, Chosen are tormented by data streams. They aren't very accurate data stream, so they may miss. But they ones who are hit by them will find themselves on some part of File Island, and they'll find themselves closed off from the outside world.
They'll find video and audio recordings don't work. They'll find, if they've been to the island, that some places may not appear like they always have. They'll find that this isn't quite the File Island as it was before.
Wherever they are on the island, whoever they run into, something will be constant: their digivices will blink, pointing them like a compass toward File Island's center, Infinity Mountain.
It's time to go and see what that's about.
[ooc: This will be the catch-all log for the event! Below will be threads of all the places, both basic and specific, that your characters will be able to go. The last thread will be for the Infinity Mountain event endgame, and though your characters can arrive there early, it will take place on day three of the event.
NPCs will drift through the threads, depending on where you are. For the purposes of this event, if you are not okay with NPC interaction, please say so in your thread, for example if you and someone else have a non-NPC thread idea. Otherwise, all threads are open to NPC intervention, though not all will receive it. Please also mark which day your threads take place on. And remember, have fun! The map and the ooc info can help with location issues.]

She moved to look at some of the Yokomon, who were coming closer to her.
Biyomon just shrugged. "I'm... obviously something different besides the data streams is going on."
no subject
"Oh, of course something weird's happening," Juri replies matter-of-fact, as if saying of course water is wet. "But that was definitely a data stream that grabbed me and Leomon. It looked like one, and..."
She looks to her partner, who nods in affirmation. "It felt like one as well. It seems something used the data streams to put us here, though it's obviously not the only problem."
no subject
Biyomon nodded, moving closer to Leomon and Juri. "They didn't have them in my Digital World," he added, before moving to stretch his wings. "I don't get how anyone can really do anything if those are around all the time. If this happens a lot I can't believe that this place can even have villages or cities."
no subject
"We do not know how you got here, or why you are here, but you must be hungry and thirsty. Perhaps you should rest. Food will help you think, right?"
no subject
Food? Water? Oh, thank goodness. "Yes! Yes, very hungry, very thirsty! Could we? Please? Thank you, thank you!"
Juri gets more and more excited with each word, finally leaning down and hugging a close Yokomon. They remind her a lot of the Tsuchidaramon, at least in terms of the village. Such cute little things, and friendly!
no subject
Biyomon nodded, before turning over to Leomon. He didn't think that Chika and Juri would be a problem as far as food was concerned. But what about him and Leomon? The Yokomon were smaller and probably didn't need as much food. They could end up eating way too much for them.
... Or maybe not. They weren't really going to find out until after they saw what they had.
no subject
"How did Biyomon digivolve?" "Biyomon must be amazing to digivolve!" "Biyomon! Can you show us how to digivolve?"
They were overlapping each other once more, making it hard to understand.
no subject
Leomon almost takes a step back, but, uh, he doesn't want to step on the little Digimon. Well. This sure is a predicament.
"It looks like they like your partner," Juri chirps.
no subject
Biyomon looked around at them. "Well, it was... I don't really remember a ton about what happened. But Chika was in danger and I knew I needed to protect her, so that's how it happened." Sure, it didn't actually happen until the attacking digimon left, but well, that wasn't really his fault. If Falcomon had gotten closer it probably would've happened faster.
no subject
It's not long before the Yokomon that left came back with bowls of...what looks like seed. A feast for Yokomon and Biyomon, but perhaps not the best thing in the world for the Chosen and Leomon.
no subject
"I'm not used to seeing a lot of baby Digimon to begin with," Juri starts, but she trails off as the Yokomon all gather about.
...And then there's the seed that's brought to them. "Oh, this is..."
Leomon raises an eyebrow. "I don't know if we'll be able to eat this. Juri, do you--?"
And then he looks at her to see she's already digging in.
no subject
Of course, Biyomon had no problem with eating the seed. Not that he was really eating a lot though. Not yet. "Are you sure you'll be alright if you give this to us?" he asked, still a bit concerned.
no subject
The Yokomon were excited that the group was staying, even more that at least two of them were enjoying their meal. Of course, it didn't really take much for them to become excited. Little Digimon like themselves were easily excitable.
no subject
"This is the most excitable group of Digimon I've ever seen," Leomon murmurs, mostly to himself.
no subject
After all, nothing would compare to her mom's cooking. So it wasn't like she wasn't going to have the best food for a long time anyway. And she was starving and it was nice of them to feed them.
no subject
The others looked quite happy that the Chosen and Biyomon were enjoying themselves. After all, it's like the one said, not very many come to see them. They don't mind sharing with those who need it!
no subject
Finally, Juri pokes up from her meal. The seeds, for the record, are actually quite good.
"Never?" She wipes at her mouth. "But...a lot of the humans have been here for months. They never came around?"
no subject
"Well, maybe this just isn't an place that any humans have been by before?" she said. "I mean, it's not like we were around Server all that long before last month either. Or that we even really spend a lot of time there."
If Chika had actually been to File Island before, she'd have been confused, but well, she didn't even really know where they were.
no subject
Honestly, if this was a problem, the Yokomon want to know! They could fix it if it were!
no subject
Something weird's going on. Definitely. But that doesn't mean they should make the Yokomon feel bad.
no subject
But yeah, they definitely need to go ahead and figure things out.
