Who: Everyone taking part in the Adventure Time! Event.
What: Chosen trying to find their way around the changed File Island.
When: August 1st - 3rd
Where: File Island

Early in the morning, wherever they are, Chosen are tormented by data streams. They aren't very accurate data stream, so they may miss. But they ones who are hit by them will find themselves on some part of File Island, and they'll find themselves closed off from the outside world.

They'll find video and audio recordings don't work. They'll find, if they've been to the island, that some places may not appear like they always have. They'll find that this isn't quite the File Island as it was before.

Wherever they are on the island, whoever they run into, something will be constant: their digivices will blink, pointing them like a compass toward File Island's center, Infinity Mountain.

It's time to go and see what that's about.

[ooc: This will be the catch-all log for the event! Below will be threads of all the places, both basic and specific, that your characters will be able to go. The last thread will be for the Infinity Mountain event endgame, and though your characters can arrive there early, it will take place on day three of the event.

NPCs will drift through the threads, depending on where you are. For the purposes of this event, if you are not okay with NPC interaction, please say so in your thread, for example if you and someone else have a non-NPC thread idea. Otherwise, all threads are open to NPC intervention, though not all will receive it. Please also mark which day your threads take place on. And remember, have fun! The map and the ooc info can help with location issues.]

Blazing Fire!

[Choco shoots out pellets of fire, counteracting the lasers as Fluttershy shakes Beastboy, trying to snap him out of it.]

Beastboy...!

Blazing Ice!

[Lopmon counters the lasers that get too close to Kovu just like Choco did for Fluttershy, and stands in front of the three Chosen protectively.]

Snap out of it!

[Kovu kneels down next to Beastboy and just slaps him, knowing they don't have time to waste. If Beastboy doesn't respond to that he's just going to grab him and yank the girl's arm to get moving again.]

[changelingdude]

[His face made an audible slap and his eyes were spinning in place]

Duuude, that was like...not cool. He just wants to play right?

[Meanwhile Rita is trying to talk down the larger Digimon]

P-pardon us sir we just...we're not sure how we got here or where we are and we would very much like to return to our homes in Tokyo...

[adventuremons]

[The attacks simply dissipate when they hit Monzaemon, doing nothing more than leaving little marks on his body. He stomps closer to the Chosen before Rita's voice makes him stop.]

You cannot leave! You must stay and play! Hearts attack!

[Once more, blue hearts shoot out towards the Chosen their partners, hoping to ensnare them in the same feeling of wanting to stay.

Meanwhile, the little toy place circles above Beastboy, a wheel tapping against his head in passing every so often.]

[Fluttershy jumps out of the way, taking Beastboy with her.]

B-Beastboy...! P-Please snap out of it...!

[Meanwhile Choco is trying to counter the blue hearts with attacks of his own.]

You've gotta be kidding!

[Kovu snarls at the giant monster, just as Lopmon tries to counter the huge Digimon's attacks again.]

Lopmon, just kill him already!

What do you think I'm doing?!

[He sends out another blast of ice pellets, but they just bounce off Monzaemon's chest, doing next to nothing.]

[Beastboy is being dragged along by Fluttershy, thank goodness he doesn't weigh that much. He keeps taking swipes at the plane over his head to try and play with it.]

Heh heh heh, sweet plane dude~

[Rita is scurrying about trying to avoid all the blasts]

K-Kovu! You need to dig deep, connect with Lopmon and have a mutual goal! It's the only way to evolve.

[To try and help she starts dancing gracefully, spinning and bobbing, hopping around the heart beams creating colorful blocks that fly at Monzaemon]

[adventuremons]

Don't you want to stay and play here in Toy Town?!

[More steps are taken to close the distance, all attacks simply bouncing off it. It stares down at the ones unaffected by its Hearts Attack and fires more lasers from its eyes.]

[strengthinkindness]

[Fluttershy tugs at Beastboy, barely getting him out of the way of another laser attack. The narrow escape causes her Digivice to start glowing, and a similar light surrounds Choco, pushing him to Digivolve into Rabbitmon.]

Carrot Bomb!

Evolve?

[Kovu's face screws up, and then he stumbles backward when the other Lopmon is suddenly a lot bigger. He looks back to Rita, and jumps out of the way of more lasers.]

How am I supposed to do that?!

focus on what you both want!

I wanna plaaaaaay~

[now Beastboy is nuzzling Fluttershy adoringly hugging her close but still not helping as she drags him along]

You smell nice Shy!

[Rita grabs for the plane Beastboy was playing with and throws it at the bear]

[Monzaemon roars as its steps falter thanks to the carrot bomb attack. However, it manages to right it self rather quickly and stares down at the group, firing lasers once more from its eyes. The plane, however, just bounces off it before falling to the ground in several pieces.]

[strengthinkindness]

[Rabbitmon jumps in front of the group, his armor repelling the laser attack. Then he fires another attack of his own at Monzaemon.

Meanwhile, Fluttershy is equal parts trying to snap Beastboy out of his stupor and embarrassedly trying to wriggle out of his grasp.]

On what we both want?

[All he really wants right now is for all this crazy stuff to stop happening so he can figure out where they just showed up. He wants this to be over and for that giant Digimon to die.]

Kovu! You have to help me get rid of this thing!

HOW?!

You know you want it dead, right? So stop being confused about it!

[Kovu groans, then jumps out of the way of another laser. He's really getting sick of this thing! He lands with a growl, and looks up at it, wishing for the world he had his lion body back so he could just tear it to shreds with his teeth and claws.]

What the-!

[He jumps again as his Digivice vibrates in his pocket, then starts glowing. He pulls it out to look at it, and as he does Lopmon starts glowing just like the other one did. A second later a huge gout of flame erupts from the light, and standing there is a much larger, much cooler Digimon.]

Took you long enough!

[Kovu is more confused right now than anything else, with his Digimon now looking like a big cat, a lot like how he used to - just way bigger, and on fire.

Lynxmon, though, wastes no time in attacking with his newfound powers.]

HOWLING BUSTER!

[The Digimon takes in a huge breath, and then breathes out a massive fireball at Monzaemon.]

YES!

[Rita jumps in the air and punches her fist as both the evolved partners jump into battle. She casts a look back to Beastboy who's actually now trying to teach Fluttershy how to play Rock paper Scissors. Rita sighs but can't stand back and let these newbies have all the spotlight. She takes a deep breath.]

Show time!!!

[she dashes a wide arc around Monzemon running for the back and jumping off a colorful block trying to grab at the zipper on his back]

[adventuremons]

[The attacks cause Monzaemon to stumble back once more. There are larger scorch marks now where it is hit.

Rita, meanwhile, manages to open the zipper in Monzaemon's back...revealing what seems to be a black gear embedded in the fluff. The giant bear tries to reach behind it to smack at Rita, but its arms are too small. So it just decides to go after the Chosen once more.]

[strengthinkindness]

[Not if Rabbitmon has anything to say about it.]

Lynxmon! Keep Monzaemon's attention!

[He calls out the other as he scoops up the three Chosen, ready to get them out of the way if Monzaemon gets too close.]

WILD NAIL CLAW!!

[A huge gout of fire precedes a massive swipe of Lynxmon's claws, right at Monzaemon's chest.

Kovu, however, clearly doesn't like the idea of getting picked up, until a laser nearly hits his feet and he doesn't have a choice.]

what the...?

[Rita spots the gear and her face twists in confusion. Is that what Monzemon are supposed to have inside? She yelps as Lynxmon attacks again and grips the zipper tighter as her mind races. Her stomach twists in guilt as she considers what she's about to do. One look at Rabbitmon dragging the chosen away makes the choice for her. Beastboy is now trying to kiss Kovu while under the spell. It would be funny if there wasn't a giant bear trying to keep him captive]

...

[ok it was still kinda funny. But Rita knows it would stop being funny soon if this continued. So she takes a deep breath and cries out]

Colorful Sparkle!!!

[multicolored neon electricity bursts from her horn at the gear]

[All of that is lost on Rabbitmon, who is too busy trying to juggle the three Chosen; Fluttershy is tugging at Beastboy, trying to keep him from kissing a rather freaked-out Kovu.]

B-Beastboy...! Cut it out...!

[thescaronhisface]

[SMACK!

Kovu doesn't even think before he slams his palm into Beastboy's jaw the same way he would've swiped with his claws. The ferocity is impossible to miss, showing plain as day on his face and in his extremely tense posture.]

[changelingdude]

[WHAM! Stars explode in Beastboy's vision. His head snaps back from the force and his head flops about with his tongue lolling out. He's only able to groan as tears run down his cheeks, still under the spell]

Duuuude, you play too rough!

[adventuremons]

[Between Lynxmon's attacks from the front, and Rita's effort of directly going after the black gear, Monzaemon stops, freezing almost in place. It seems as though it is broken, like a toy, when it lets out a horrible cry, the black gear flying from its back and into the air. It spins and spins...

Before shattering into pixelated bits!

Monzaemon groans before falling on its rear with a heavy THUD. It takes a few moments before it's able to lift its head and look around, confused.

And Beastboy, don't worry. The effect of the Hearts Attack has worn off.]

Hello...?

[strengthinkindness]

[The sudden change in Monzaemon's demeanor has Rabbitmon relaxing a little, though he still stays protective over the three humans.]

You all better now...?

[thescaronhisface]

[Kovu's still trying to catch his breath. Slowly, very slowly, he exhales and relaxes, all that tension easing away. It's a few more seconds before he realizes Rabbitmon asked him something.]

...Y...yeah.
