[OOC: Please, only one mission per Chosen so that others have a chance to take part as well! There is only one Dark Field Eliminator, and the groups will receive it. Do not break it. This will act as a mingle log. The missions are simple, so this is really an opportunity for you to log out CR if you'd like it. There really is no sign up for these. We just request that you do not go over the max number of participants, but you can certainly have under the number if everyone is alright with that. Remember, some of these will be taking place during the weather event, so if there's a day you want your character to be in the city for and it's a far away area, plan accordingly!  Enjoy!]

[Gotsumon follows her close; he doesn't really like the rain.]

Yeah, we-wah! ['scuse him, a Tailmon landed dangerously near him] Sorry... We're going there.

[Taking pity on him, Terra gestures for Harry to move closer.]

Hey dudes!!!

[Rita is leading the way and Beastboy's right on her tail in a green raincoat with Dinosaurs on it, the hood is up and reveals cute little teeth and a dinosaurs face. It looks like a child's raincoat that just happens to fit a teenager. Rita is with him as well holding her own umbrella which is strikingly colorful like her pelt. It's a more old fashioned looking umbrella though made of paper and wood like a souvenir from feudal Japan. Despite being a short round Digimon Rita manage to side step the falling Digimon much more effectively then Beastboy who keeps getting knocked to the ground or pummeled. Another Gatomon lands on his head while Rita waves politely]

[And he gets under the umbrella with Terra, just in time to notice Beastboy arrive]

Oh, hello! You're coming too?

[She smiles fondly at Beastboy.]

You don't need to sleep first, right? After being pelted with falling Digimon!

It's gonna be a long train ride, Gots.

[He grins sheepishly and opens up the raincoat revealing a shoulderbag. Opening it up inside there are bags of candy and cans of soda]

I always come prepared dude~ I'm like, the Batman of sugary energy.

[Rita rolls her eyes]

I don't understand how someone who normally eats so healthy can be such a junk food junkie

[Beastboy just laughs and offers candy to Terra, Harry and their partners]

[Biyomon hands his to Harry for safekeeping in his pockets.]

Only one more to go, then.

I guess so... [eating some of his candy right away] Blimey, I haven't eaten these in a while.

Don't hog them all, you arse.

[Alex arrives at this point, carrying her normal overstuffed satchel, and an umbrella of her own. More noticeably, she's being bridal-carried by her partner (Bastemon, at the moment), who came at a very fast run.]

Green kid I recognize, who're the rest of you? And who's got this vaunted gadget that I'll bet twenty bit doesn't work right?

[Popping a candy into her mouth, Terra raises her eyebrows.] Wow, someone's a cynic... Name's Terra, don't you usually introduce yourself first?

[We're off to a wonderful start.]

[Beastboy grins at the arrival of their seventh and eighth members of the team]

Oh hey Alex, hey-

[But before he can get the next greeting out a particularly fat Doggymon lands on him flattening him to the ground. His bag of treats however is saved from being flattened by Rita who was picking out a soda]

That's happening a lot, isn't it?

[Biyomon goes to help to get the Doggymon out from Beastboy, leaving it up to Harry to do the introductions]

I'm Harry, and I have the device. [He holds it up, and the turns to Beastboy] Are you ok?

Check him out after we take shelter.

[As the Doggymon runs off, rather unhappy, Terra joins Biyomon in helping up Beastboy, giving Harry the umbrella.]

Let's just head for the train.

[Beastboy is dazed but by the time they get to the train he 'a on his feet again grinning embaressed]

Hope the weather is better where we're going.

Anyway, this is Alex. She's super smart and whenever she learns about stuff on these missions she posts these big long reports so everyone is like, on the same page!

[he leaves off that she's kind of a sourpuss]

You guys're lucky. [She's talking to Beastboy and Harry; Alex it's obvious has been there.] Last time, the tracks were broken and we had to walk three days across the desert to get there.

[There's a Trailmon all ready to take them.]

[And through the magic of radio we can follow our heroic chosen and their mighty digital monsters without all the slow plodding awkward conversation that comes with strangers riding on public transit.]

I can go up and see if I can find something.

This one's at the top of the castle.

Just hope Lotusmon isn't around again.

[Terra squints and points to the Castle's roof.] See that white-rainbow thing? That's the Dark Field.

[It's very high, wide enough to fall into, and looking like a weird sort of aurora. For the moment, there's no Digimon around it, just the Castle, which is seriously showing wear and tear from its siege in July.]

So. Fliers?

[Beastboy and Rita exchange glance]

Well...I can't fly but as Kabukimon I can jump really high. How about you guys?

[Biyomon just... Looks at you all pointedly as he flaps his wings and raises a few feet from the ground.]

I can fly.

[Harry looks up to the Dark Field. He'd expected it to be... Well, darker. ]

So you'll be going alone?

I could probably carry you if I digivolved, but... I don't think I can do it just like that.

Then I guess that's that if nobody has any ideas...

... You guys remember the part where I've been here before? There's a route that'll get us up to the ramparts, and that's a way shorter climb for carrying people.
