Who: Kyouko Kirigiri, OPEN
What: Snooping through some books
When: 4/16
Where: A library
[After the hustle and bustle of the Damemon parade, it was no surprise that Kyouko felt like she needed a little time to herself.]
[One of the other Digimon had mentioned the existence of a library over the D-Terimnal network a few days ago, and although Kyouko had located it and flipped through a few of its books, she certainly hadn't finished her search for answers through the various texts. Most of the books were useless. . . cookbooks, fictional novels, text books, things that she could easily find back in her own world, and none of them explained anything about the Digital World, its inhabitants, or what strange force may have brought the Chosen Children to Terminal Tokyo in such large numbers. Still. . . after nearly a week and a half in the Digital World, she couldn't give up.]
[As such, on this particular afternoon, Kyouko was seated in a chair in the corner of the library, a stack of books piled on the ground next to her, one propped open in her lap. She was reading quietly, while Labramon, coiled with pent up energy, paced next to her chair.]
Kyoukooooo can we go do something else? I'm soooooooo bored. . .! I want to go adventuring! We still haven't been outside the city!
Patience is a virtue, Labramon. [The girl answered without looking up from her book.]
[With a frustrated sigh, Labramon flopped onto the ground next to the book pile, crossed her paws in front of her, and rested her muzzle on top of them.]
Soooooo boooooored. . .

...find anything worthwhile?
[After that earlier post he quickly assumed she was researching, not reading for the fun of it]

Some casual reading for whenever I may get bored, but otherwise, no.

It's unfortunate that they don't. I've already found they have plenty to say, whether you want to hear it or not.
[Labramon lifted her head, her nose twitching]
Heeeeey, what's that supposed to mean?

I've heard a few mention bigger and older digimon, but I haven't really seen many outside those like that ice cream one at the parade. If they have history it's not here.
no subject
I've heard them talk about these Digimon as well, along with a lot about the mythology of this world. It's very strange that none of it is written down. . .
Though I do wonder if there are other cities in the Digital World like this one. Perhaps we'd have more luck there.
no subject
It's worth checking out. I'm not too eager to go running out there with just a bunny and my fists though.
no subject
It might not be a good idea to go out alone, no. Though the Digimon are meant to fight, so perhaps they can hold their own in the face of trouble.
no subject
...might not have a choice, eventually.
no subject
Are you a fighter?

Oh. It's you guys! Finally, someone to talk to! Ed's been busy looking at books all day and I'm so booored.
no subject
Oh! Finally! Someone else to talk to! Kyouko has been reading for hours and I'm so tired of it! Are you having the same problem with your partner?
[Kyouko, in the meantime, is ignoring both Digimon to continue reading]
no subject
I think he's trying to make a book fort but he wouldn't let me help with that! Humans are weird.
no subject
I find that I don't get them either. . . especially Kyouko. She's very odd!
[With a sigh, the girl snaps her book shut and climbs to her feet, tucking said book underneath her arm as she leaves the two Digimon be and begins her search for Guilmon's partner]
Ed-kun? Are you in here?
no subject
[Finding him isn't hard... he's sitting on the floor in the middle of a pile of books. They're stacked almost as high as he's sitting (which isn't very high), but only on one side of him. He looks up as he hears the voice.]
Kirigiri? Hey! I didn't expect to see you here.
no subject
And I didn't expect to see you here. Are you attempting to do research too?
no subject
Actually, I've also been trying to figure out why everything here is in Japanese too. Haven't found anything yet.
no subject
It sounds like we're on the same wavelength. The Digimon mentioned much about this world's mythology and history, but so far I haven't seen any of that mythology or history written down.
I haven't found anything useful, either.
no subject
I mean, you remember that note from before. If there's nothing about the digimon here, it might be part of Tokyo.

So the duo headed to the library, Namine intent on getting some answers. She never read that much back at home, having been banned from most of the rooms that were filled with books, so at least here she could learn something, whether it was about the world or not.
Lunamon's helping out too, but while she's scanning the aisles she catches sight of Kyouko, and the little rabbit approaches, Namine following behind.]
You're the one who was asking about Digimon... r-right?
no subject
That's right. And you're the Lunamon I spoke with?
no subject
D-did you find the answers you were looking for?
no subject
[she lets out a sigh and flips another page]
These books are all normal books, and none of them say anything about the Digital World.
no subject
[This definitely piques her interest. She comes closer, keeping an eye on Labramon. She looks like a harmless Digimon, but you can never tell.]
Nothing on it's history?
