[Open] A Very Kratt-y Birthday

Who: Anyone and everyone!
What: Celebrating Martin Kratt's birthday!
When: Dec. 23
Where: The Meeting Hall

The night before had been spent getting the decorations up for the party, with Chris and Fluttershy and anyone else who had offered to help while Martin had been sleeping, in order to keep the whole party a surprise for him.

Fluttershy could only hope that all her experiences with Pinkie Pie's parties would help her make sure this one was successful. After all Chris and Martin had done for her recently, helping make Martin's birthday a special one was the least she could do.

((OOC: There are certain places where people can meet, but feel free to post additional threads for mingling! It's a party after all, so have fun!))

...Y-yeah! I totally wouldn't mind dancing with you again, even if it wasn't at another party...you know, just a regular get-together at your place or mine...

(Rainbow still hadn't quite pulled Twilight up, but when she suddenly did so she made sure to stop just in time for their faces to be practically inches away from each other. If the former Alicorn wasn't facing away from her.

Part of her was very tempted to do this on another part of her face, but Rainbow leaned in and kissed Twilight's flushed cheek and held it for some time before pulling back. The former Pegasus wasn't known for her patience, just her occasional over-enthusiasm about things.)

Do you realize if I list all the awesome things you've done since we became best friends with each other and the rest, that'd make your head as big as my wings?

[She went wide-eyed at the kiss on her cheek. That got her to look at Rainbow directly again, and now she was noticing how close they actually were. She couldn't quit staring, it was like she was in a trance.

Still, she at least found it in her to speak.]

None of those things would have been possible without you guys. It;s only because of the five of you that I even became a Princess. I don't what I would do without nay of you.

(This was her chance...! Rainbow found herself looking directly at Twilight again, not even considering pullling away even if they were this close together.)

...Yeah, but you taught us stuff too, Twilight. You reminded me that I could still be a hero...just like we can be here, but...if I get shown up, that doesn't make me less of a hero...I wouldn't enjoy Daring Do stories or reading without you pushing me...I don't know what I would do without you...

(She's not called 'Rainbow Dash' because she does things slowly. She closed the distance between them without hesitation but just a hint of fear that she pushed aside, closed her eyes and pressed her lips gently, but firmly against Twilight's.)

[The kiss caused Twilight to freeze. Her eyes widened, her face felt like it was on fire, and it felt like her heart was going to jump out of her chest. She was still for a moment, not sure what to do. Did... Rainbow Dash... like her? Or...? Maybe she should pull away...

Yet as the shock faded, Twilight couldn't find it in her to pull away. The kiss... it felt... nice. She almost didn't want it to end. Her eyes became half-lidded before closing them fully, returning the kiss gently as she pulled herself closer to her friend.]

(Rainbow felt the sudden closeness and liked it...she realized she liked it a lot while her hands locked around Twilight's waist and held her in place.

Their first kiss...her first kiss, with Twilight...she didn't want it to end, uncertain on if she should push further, since she didn't wanna startle her.)

[She remained as she was for what felt like an eternity. Still, as much as she was realizing that she liked this, she wasn't comfortable with doing this in public like this. The last thing that she wanted was for people to stare and for both her and Rainbow to be embarrassed.

Reluctantly, she pulled away from the kiss. But she didn't move away from the hold. She stared at Rainbow Dash with a bright red face. She tried to speak, but the words refused to come out. But eventually she got something to come out]

R-Rainbow Dash... I-I...

(As she felt Twilght pull away, but not enough that the hold was broken, Rainbow stared at her with an equally red face. It took her a few moments to speak too, definitely out of her element when it came to issues like this.)

Twi-Twilight...! Th-that was...awesome~!

(She usually squealed like that during crazy awesome moments like with the Wonderbolts, or when Twilight had been with her during the weeks before Tornado day and the Pegasi had -at the time- more than enough wingpower to break the old record. This time, it came out a little higher as she was contemplating the kiss she'd just shared with her fellow flyer.)

I-I... yeah, I... I mean I...

[She was trying to speak, but the words refused to come out. But... she had liked it. That much she was certain. And right now she knew that she didn't want Rainbow to let her go.]

S-so then, umm... wh-what happens now...?

(Rainbow giggled for a moment, surprised at this little discovery -but not too much. She'd left Twilight speechless! Spike would love this! Probably not the kiss, but Rainbow had...and she didn't want to let Twilght go.

Not anytime soon, anyway.)

Well...w-we could dance some more or maybe...go find a quiet place to be alone together...?

[Twilight thought it over. Whatever was... happening, she didn't want it to end. She didn't want to rush it though either, she wanted to take it slow. She also didn't feel like moving.]

Well... w-we're already here, so... I guess dance some more? Then... when we're tired, we could... go somewhere else for a little bit?

(Rainbow's excited grin popped back up, and she answered Twiight's question by starting another dance, while keeping her close as the music came on agan.

Kinda weird how it was another slow song, but that didn't bother Rainbow too much since she didn't wanna move anytime soon.)

Sweet! Gotta warn you...it takes a lot to tire this Pegasus out! Or maybe I should say...your date?

[Date? So then... Rainbow Dash did like her? Twilight felt like she may... and that she may like her back. So with another bashful smile (she kept doing that a lot tonight) she spoke.]

Yes... I-I guess this does make you my date. So then are we... you know, t-together?

(Together? Like...fillyfriends? With Fluttershy, it was different; they were fillyhood friends, which Twilight knew. This was different, and while she knew it couldn't go at the pace she was used to...Twilight would end up teaching the Pegasus how to take this, what they had together, slow.)

Ye-Yeah...I guess so! We're together!

(She'd already given Twilight a kiss, on one cheek and a heated one on her lips...this time, just a quick one to her other, untouched cheek, before pulling back and giving her fillyfriend her usual grin.

Wow, that was going to take some getting used to.)

[When Rainbow Dash confirmed the status, Twilight couldn't help but smile big. Would this last? She didn't know, but she was willing to try. There was the matter of telling Rarity and Fluttershy, and that thought did worry her. But she would wait until the time came to worry about it.

For now, she moved and gave her new fillyfriend a kiss on the cheek herself. She then leaned in close, resting her head on Rainbow Dash's shoulder.]

L-love you Rainbow...

(She let out another squeal at Twilight's kiss, and a gasp once she felt her head against her shoulder. She kept on dancing though, her hand moving up to press against the back of her neck.

Rainbow's loyalties would always be toward her friends, pony and non-pony. But there was definitely a special one reserved for only Twilight, and she wouldn't let anyone else divide them.)

...I-I love you too, Twilight.

(Figuring out how to tell Fluttershy and Rarity though...if she had her way, Rainbow would totally just do what she did the first day she showed up in the city: announce it over the D-Terminal!

Twilight would totally be embarrassed if she did that, however.)

[Yes, yes she would. Twilight made a mental note to make sure to discuss with Rainbow to wait until she was ready to tell Rarity and Fluttershy before revealing anything. Hearth's Warming Eve was in two days, so maybe then? But maybe wait a little longer, when things were less busy.

Well whenever they decided to admit it, she just hoped that the two ponies would accept it. But there was still time, so for now Twilight just closed her eyes and continued to follow her new-found lover's lead. However long this lasted, she was going to enjoy it.]

(As Rainbow started to pick up the pace a bit, holding her lover close while also enjoying the moment they shared, she couldn't help but feel a little playful as her wide grin came back.

Good thing Twilight was too caught up in the moment to actually see her expression, at least for the time being. Why even consider bringing something like this up? Maybe because in the past few minutes she realized she enjoyed seeing the Alicorn's face go red and something like this...)

Hey, Twi...did you catch Trixie's little 'show' last week? I know she's a show pony and all, but this isn't Ponyville!

[If Rainbow Dash was hoping that Twilight would blush, she got her wish.]

Y-yeah I saw... I guess it's going to take Trixie longer to understand that ponies and humans are... different int hat kind of way. I at least tried to explain it to her...

[But whether it registered to the former unicorn or not was anyone's guess.]

(Yay, she got her lover to blush! So awesome~! She giggled lightly before going on.)

Totally didn't think I'd see her flank that close up! I tried talking with her about it too...

(The former Pegasus would still be surprised if Trixie wasn't run out of the city assuming future 'shows' popped up.)

[She cleared her throat in a hopeless attempt to get the image out of her head.]

Well... I guess we'll see if she learnes... maybe if enough people tell her that she can't... do that she'll wear clothes. If not, well... we'll see what happens, I guess.

[She did feel like she should at least try to help Trixie, especially after how upset she had gotten just over her horn. Sure it was over-dramatic, but the Alicorn felt like she should help anyways.]

(Rainbow's hand came up to squeeze Twilight's shoulder, her wide grin softening a little.)

Hey, I'm sure we're not the only ones who tried talking with her...I suggested this to her back then, but we can go to Rarity and see if she can help! She'd be able to get some clothes for Trixie as a present in time!

(The former Unicorn was always able to get things done in a crunch! If anypony could help, it was Rarity.)

[She nodded. As she continued with the dance, Twilight started to wonder how late it was. She didn't want to leave Kudamon alone and while she was willing to go with this relationship, she also didn't want to rush it. Besides, if Rainbow Dash was still tired, she shouldn't push her.

With a sigh, she lifted her head back and backed away a bit, coming to a stop.]

Sorry Rainbow Dash, but it's getting late. I should probably get back to my apartment, to check up on Kudamon, And... I don;t want to rush this either. You understand, right?

(The song came to an end as Rainbow felt Twilight pull away, stopping as well while nodding in agreement to her question.)

Of course I do, Twilight! It's not something I'm used to, going slow on things but it's like with me and Tank: take it easy, and one day at a time.

But if you're going to your apartment, I can walk you back to the front door! Can't leave my fillyfriend alone in a big city that's still under construction, right?
