[Open] A Very Kratt-y Birthday

What: Celebrating Martin Kratt's birthday!

The night before had been spent getting the decorations up for the party, with Chris and Fluttershy and anyone else who had offered to help while Martin had been sleeping, in order to keep the whole party a surprise for him.

Fluttershy could only hope that all her experiences with Pinkie Pie's parties would help her make sure this one was successful. After all Chris and Martin had done for her recently, helping make Martin's birthday a special one was the least she could do.

[Duo takes another bite of his snack. Not impressed.]

[Martin, this is absolutely not a time to launch into a biological explanation. That's your brother's game usually anyway.

At least he leaves it at that, still grinning at Duo.]

H'don't tell me you've never seen anybody dance before?

[Although a better question would probably be, has Duo ever seen anyone dance like him before? Probably not.]

[Duo just bites down on his snack again with a shake of his head.]

No. I've heard people singing, but never seen anyone dancing. If they did like you, though, I'd think they were nuts.

That makes him laugh, despite his mock-indignant look.]

Oho, what? H'I'm the best dancer of all my friends back home.

[Now he's just asking for it. Good thing, he's kidding around.

He motions for Duo to join in.]

Come on, you should try it! There's no wrong way to dance!

If you're the best, then I'd hate to see your friends.

[He blinks, though, when Martin motions for him to come to the dance floor. Duo had never danced before. Not like this. What if he looked dumb? Or worse...

What if he looked like Martin?!

Duo looks at Martin skeptically as he finishes off what he's eating. At the very least, Martin looks like he's having fun. Could looking like that really be fun?]

I dunno how to dance.

[Cue the embarrassed blushing.]

[His friends dance only slightly less ridiculously than he does, so no arguments there.

Funnily enough, he's actually heard that reason before, and it definitely didn't stop him last time from trying to encourage them anyway.]

Don't know how to dance? That's even better! Learning how and finding your own style is the best part!

[He grins, although his expression softens a little a moment later and he takes a break in his dancing.]

Hah'and I can show you a really simple dance if you want?
