[Open] A Very Kratt-y Birthday

What: Celebrating Martin Kratt's birthday!

Where: The Meeting Hall

The night before had been spent getting the decorations up for the party, with Chris and Fluttershy and anyone else who had offered to help while Martin had been sleeping, in order to keep the whole party a surprise for him.

Fluttershy could only hope that all her experiences with Pinkie Pie's parties would help her make sure this one was successful. After all Chris and Martin had done for her recently, helping make Martin's birthday a special one was the least she could do.

[He grins a little, rubbing the back of his neck.]

Aww-hah, thanks, I definitely had a great time.

[He gives Hiccup a genuinely surprised look. He was honestly expecting gifts even less than he had the party.]

Oho, dude, h'you didn't have to get me anything...

[Oh but he did, and he had. It takes him a moment, but he pulls out two little wooden carvings of Martin's partners, Penguinmon and Bearmon.

They're near exact replicas of the two Digimon, but they aren't simply carvings- Hiccup also seems to have taken the time to paint them both as well.]

Happy Birthday, Martin.

[It's a rare moment where Martin is completely at a loss for words, but the gifts definitely leave him speechless for a good moment or two, short of a soft noise of surprise at the sight of them.

His entire expression can be summed up as awed as he carefully takes the carvings, admiring the detail in them.]

Oh wow...

[That's all he can manage for a bit, still staring at the carvings before he turns to Hiccup with the brightest grin ever.]

You carved these yourself?

[That question is rhetorical, since the amazement on his face suggests he already knows that.]

H'these are amazing! Thank you, Hiccup!

[Dude, he really wants to give you a hug, but he manages to restrain himself, especially considering Fearless is still on Hiccup's shoulders. His grin simply could not be bigger though.]

[Hiccup just shakes his head, his hand absently reaching up to pat the side of Fearless's head when he starts mumbling in his sleep.]

You're welcome! I know they're not a whole lot on short notice, but....I'm really glad you like them.

Hah, are you kidding? They're awesome!

[Nope, he's definitely not gonna let Hiccup sell himself short on these carvings. In fact, he's going to heap on the praise by calling his digimon partners over.]

Hey, Adele! Cody! Come'ere a second, you've gotta see these.

[There's a small kerfluffle and a bit of a scramble as both digimon take a short cut under a table to cut across the room, apparently half-racing each other as they both skid to a stop beside Martin.]

What is it!?

[He's beaming at them as he holds out the two carvings, and the digimon's reactions are instantaneous.]

Oh wow, that's me!!

And me too! Who made these?

[Martin grins and nods his head toward Hiccup.]

Hiccup carved them himself.

Coooool!

They look just like us!

[Hiccup, you might have a fan club now.]

[Hiccup finds himself taken over by the smile that grows on his face as he kneels in front of the two on his good knee.]

I'm really glad you guys like them. I haven't had much time to work on things like this since I got here...but this was really a special occasion.
