What: The giving of the D-Streams
Where: Terminal City, Roaming Park
When: December 25th, 2013, morning
At the stroke of midnight on December 25th, every Chosen and their partners fall asleep wherever they are, with nothing able to wake them. They won't stay there all night, however. Bright and early, as if turned on by a switch, the Chosen will awaken in their beds to find their Digivices missing. The individual Digimon -- those without rooms, brought in like the Chosen -- similarly fall into slumber or stasis, waking where the stand in the morning in the morning.
They will all wake up with a note in their rooms, written in beautiful script. "Come to Roaming Park," it says. There's some kind of noise outside. Something drawing everyone out. Noticeable first is the fall of snow, so far absent from Terminal Tokyo. It covers, among everything else, Roaming Park, where on a bench there sits a Venusmon, with a very large sack. Around her are tables full of all sorts of food, and Digimon there both partaking in it and setting up more. It's a whole feast, not spoiled by the weather, but enhanced by it.
[ooc: Below there will be a thread to interact with Venusmon, where she will answer some questions and give out the D-Streams. Every non-canon Digimon character will receive a D-Stream, whether they see her or not. At the end of the day, they will appear in the Chosen's hands. This can also be used to generally mingle with each other and enjoy the snow.]

Either way, present for Kit. Chika's hands move to go into her bag and pull it out. It was a rather small lion plushy. She would've gone for something bigger, but well, most of the lion plushies that she saw that were big didn't really seem to be all that well made. But even so, she was sure this was going to be fine because it was still pretty nice. "Merry Christmas!"
... Yeah, she knew she already wished Kit a happy Rammastide, but still, it just seemed to be the thing to say when giving a gift.

She took the plushie, then hugged Chika. "Thanks, Chika!", she said. "It's great! And you remembered!"

After a few more moments though, she pulled away from the hug. "I know it's not the same one as what you had before, but well, I figured that getting you one would be better than trying to figure out something else you'd like."

Well, unless one counted the ones Tookit had them steal, but Kit preferred not to count those as really 'hers' after learning what Tookit was like.

Though Kit might have had it easier to think like that since she got the lion as a gift, rather than just seeing it and buying it herself.

"I could name him after Lion-O, I guess, but that might be a little weird if Lion-O ever actually comes here..." Kit didn't know how likely that was, but you never knew with the Digital World. She trailed off, puzzling over the very serious matter of plushie naming.

But well, who knew how Lion-O would react, even if it really meant that Kit cared enough about him to name a plushy after him. "And I guess if it ends up really being a problem, you can change the name later, right?"
It's not like it's a living creature, after all. It's a plush toy.

She held the plush lion high above her head in a mock-impressive gesture as she announced his name, before breaking down into giggles. Really, all he needed was a little toy Sword of Omens and Claw Gauntlet.

Of course, if she knew more about what Kit's world was like, well, she'd be even more impressed with the person that Kit had decided to name the toy after. But she didn't, so oh well.

"Course," she said as she pulled back from the hug, her smile turning mischievous, "this means I'll have to find a Tygra Jr., Cheetara Jr., and Panthro Jr. to go with him." She giggled again. "Wonder if I can find a grumpy-looking one for Panthro?"

Chika giggles at what Kit said. "Oh, you'll definitely be able to find one of those! I can show you where I got this one sometime and then you can check to see if any of them are what you want." Though if it was just her and Kit, there was a good chance that Chika was probably going to need to help Kit carry them. Sure, carrying three plushies at once wasn't impossible, but it sure made things like opening doors harder.
She tried it with four one time. It didn't work out so well, and Biyomon wasn't really all that good at the holding them thing either.

She smiled and nodded. "Sounds like fun!", she said. "I've never really gone shopping for toys before; never really had any money before here." And what little they did have went towards necessities like food and clothing. Luxuries like toys had been an extravagance that her family could rarely afford.

Still, as long as they didn't spend all of their money on toys, it's not like things would be too bad.

"You're going to be performing in the festival? That's amazing! I'm going to have to be there to see you!" Chika said. She was sure that whatever Kit was going to be doing at the festival was going to be really great, and she couldn't wait to see how'd she do. "Are you going to be dancing or playing an instrument?"

"Awesome! I can't wait!" Chika exclaimed, trying to do all she could to not grab the other girl in a hug right then and there. She was super excited, and she was sure that Kit was going to be awesome at playing the flupe. Though, well...

She's going to wait until Kit's done playing. But once the other girl is done. "Oh wow Kit! That sounded awesome! How long have you been practicing that for?" Because while Chika could play a recorder or something, she kinda sucked. She was bad with music stuff okay.

She tucked her flupe back away, and turned back to Chika. "Anyway," she said, "I have some more fruit bread to give people, so I should probly go do that. I'll talk to you later, OK?"

Chika paused for a moment, before grinning and pulling Kit into a hug real quick. "And thanks for the bread! I'm sure I"ll love it."

Taking hold of her wagon's handle, she started off again, turning back briefly to wave at Chika as she walked away. "Merry Christmas! And Happy Rammastide!"
