Time to move on.
Who: Evacuated Chosen, Hikari
What: The start of the Migration
Where: Primary Village
When: January 1st, 2014
Primary Village. The baby Digimon are crying, and Elecmon's rushing about in shock, trying to care for all of them.
Hikari stands among it all, holding a Digi-egg in her arms. She's quiet, and she's sad. She's waiting, though. Waiting for anyone who would come here.
What to do? Whatever she can, even if it's not much.

[He licks his lips roughly, not realising that everything he's doing is showing off his annoyance. But he starts to actually look around instead of brooding, sort of.]
Took me a whole month to get enough things together for that sad attempt at a computer, and how it's part of a large and unhelpful crater. Just perfect.
no subject
But of course, being annoyed and frustrated are things that Bruce can't feel too much of, for obvious reasons, so he rolls past all of that and tries to focus on what they can do right now.]
You saved some parts, right? [A glance.] It's still better than nothing. I've made a computer of my own before, too, so if you want I can help.

[Tony shrugs then pulls a rolled up notebook out of his back pocket]
This was the only thing I took when the announcement happened.
I saved the pillows from Fluttershy.
Yeah, she saved pillows.

At least we have something comfortable to rest our heads on. [Which is already better than most of the other times Bruce had to flee. Most of the time, he doesn't have anything at all.] But no worries; we can start from scratch on the computer. Maybe it'll be a good thing.
[They'll make it work, Tony, so don't get too frustrated. That won't end well for anybody.]
no subject
They're just pillows.
Made for us.
Not now.
[He rubs at his forehead. Then looks back at Bruce.]
As for the computer. There's nothing here.
[He looks around the primary village.]
I need part and this place has what? Baby bottles?
no subject
[Not that Bruce can say they won't be dirty... since after all, its not like they have a definite roof over their heads at this moment.
Anyway.]
I don't mean here, of course. There was a message earlier - there's a place called HospiTown where they've set up to help us since the city got destroyed. We're going to have to travel so get there, so on the way we can stop around and see if we can find things that might help.
no subject
Yeah we should probably head that way, it might be a little less... Pastel.
[He glances around at all the baby-themed cuteness.]
no subject
[Not that he's entirely sure where, but this place is pretty big. Surely there can be something, right?]
no subject
[He starts to fidget with the note book in his hands]
I've done 3 months in dryer conditions. What's a week in a sentient train?
no subject
It's decided then, I guess. We should start tomorrow, or tonight.
no subject
Tomorrow, I don't really feel like dealing with it today.
no subject
I'll get us prepared. [A week is still going to be a while, and they're probably going to take longer, too, considering things.] We'll leave first thing in the morning.
no subject
[He stands around for a second after sticking his hands in his pockets.]
Anything. I should do?
no subject
No, it's fine. I can handle the logistics. [Not the first time he's done this, after all, and hey - actually knowing is even better.] Take a break; you need it.
no subject
Uh, yeah. People keep saying that to me.
[He scratches his eyebrow, then looks at Dorumon who's still clutching both of their pillows.]
no subject
Because you need it. [And then he glances at Tony and Dorumon.] Rest. I'll get the both of us prepared.
no subject
So. Rest?
He is right. You've barely slept since you got here.
What have I told you about being Pepper? Just leave me...
[He rubs at his face tiredness seeping into the frustration of his movements.]
Just put the pillow on this... Uh... Play cube thing.
[Rolling her eyes, Dorumon puts his blueberry pillow on the cube and he lays back to get vaguely comfortable on it.]
we can end it heeeeere
It's going to be a long one.]
