Who: People in the Defenders group and the Divers

What: The Rescue of Taichi turns sour!

When: 24-26 April

Where: The new anomaly outside of Primary Village

The Trailmon to File Island left hours ago. Twenty-one people were aboard and split their separate ways at a terminal close to the Village. Some went to protect the young Digimon while most of the others had a mission at hand: rescuing the brave--or perhaps foolish-- Taichi Yagami.

No Digimon seems to be around as group approaches the field. It as Taichi said, too, full of bright colors and random numbers. The size isn't great, so one must wonder how a boy got lost in there. Or perhaps you're unable to think on that when you realize how still everything is.

No wind seems to pass and no sound can be heard.

Whatever's going on, it can't be normal for the Digital World either, can it?

[[OOC: So here's how this will work! We will give you guys a few rounds to get set up. This is so that you can get in your groups. During this time the Divers will also be roped up and sent on their way. For this we're going to need you guys to be a little speedy at first. Ideally, we will be putting up the Diving/Battling threads at NO LATER THAN 8:30 A.M. CST Thursday. They may go up earlier if we feel everyone is situated!

Several threads will go up then-- one for the Divers for which we will be putting our focus on (Divers, if you want to get started early since you don't have much coordinating to do let us know!).

The Digimon you will be fighting will also make their appearance! Please note it will take several hours after the Divers take their leave that the Digimon will appear. We will introduce these Digimon and explain the mechanics of their behavior, but wil not be playing them unless requested/necessary.

The Divers should all be pulled out by midnight on the 26th.

Kaldur stared up at the anomaly. He wasn't sure what he had expected but somehow it still did not compare to this. There was something ominous about the silence surrounding the field, especially when one considered the Beemon swarm they had left behind. Kaldur nodded and turned back to the group that had elected to go in search of Taichi. There was time to contemplate these events after they were through living them. Now, their priority was to go into the field and see what was what.

"So does everyone remember the plan we discussed?"

"Yeah, yeah. We send some of you guys in and the rest stand out here to make sure what happened to the first guy doesn't also happen to everyone in the groups. Also keep an eye out for any attacks."

Kaldur sighed. Thank you for undermining that Gizamon. "Exactly."

Washington nodded, fidgeting a bit. But he's trying to stay calm. This is just like working with the freelancers back home. "I remember. Don't worry."

Coronamon is watching Washington worriedly. He didn't think he was up to all of this.

Part of Hibiki is still wondering why she's here at all. Her recent fight with her partner has her a bit reluctant to do any fighting, but the rest of her is ready to help everyone else find a way home and get some more information. The usually energetic idol is spacing out just a little, but Psychemon is urging her forward. She can't help but feel a little out of place...it feels like everyone else has done something like this before, but she's only ever played a soldier in a movie.

Oh, well. At least she knows how to act tough.

"Mm! Just leave it to us! Psychetaro and I aren't gonna let anything happen."

"I think we will be all right if we stay vigilant." Kaldur gestured at the digital field. "We'll need to keep an eye out for strange activity."

"Easier said than done, Kal. Everything about this is strange, remember?"

Then we just watch everything.

Right. Staying vigilant. Hibiki could do that. After hearing Gizamon speak, she looked back at her own partner and asked him a question.

"Wait, but you're all from here, right? Just how different is compared to...whatever it is you guys normally do?"

"This is new for all of us, Hibiki. Try to pay a bit more attention, alright?"

Instead of arguing back at Psychetaro, she grumbled a reply and returned to scanning the horizon. "...You guys see anythin' yet?"

Gizamon nodded in agreement with Psychemon and then settled down next to Kaldur. Waiting was so boring but it seemed that Kaldur wasn't going to change his mind on it. She sighed, "Not yet."

Kaldur looked over to the other groups gathered around. He doubted they would miss anything being together like this. He just hoped they could handle it if things got bad. He may have agreed to this but Kaldur couldn't help but worry about their futures...especially since none of them could access evolution yet.

Washington was fidgeting a little, but he new he needed to keep controlled. This was important. And he needed to prove to his Digimon that he was fine. "We just need to be patient."

Coronamon was quiet, watching his partner carefully.

"Being patient's the hardest part, huh?" Hibiki crossed her arms and looked back to the horizon, then she returned the gaze to her two partners. If she didn't ask now, she wasn't really going to get another chance, was she?

"So, uh, you two...have you done this kinda thing before?"

"It can be, yes."

Kaldur had patience but it would remain to be seen if Gizamon did. He doubted he could keep Gizamon quiet for long and knew that sooner or later he would have to find something to occupy her time. But talking, in the meanwhile, couldn't hurt.

"You mean rescue others from danger or wait around for strange things to occur and try to prevent something bad from happening?" There was a coyness in his voice as if he were teasing. He rolled his shoulders and smiled, "I would say I have experienced a little of both."
