What: The Rescue of Taichi turns sour!
When: 24-26 April
Where: The new anomaly outside of Primary Village
The Trailmon to File Island left hours ago. Twenty-one people were aboard and split their separate ways at a terminal close to the Village. Some went to protect the young Digimon while most of the others had a mission at hand: rescuing the brave--or perhaps foolish-- Taichi Yagami.
No Digimon seems to be around as group approaches the field. It as Taichi said, too, full of bright colors and random numbers. The size isn't great, so one must wonder how a boy got lost in there. Or perhaps you're unable to think on that when you realize how still everything is.
No wind seems to pass and no sound can be heard.
Whatever's going on, it can't be normal for the Digital World either, can it?
[[OOC: So here's how this will work! We will give you guys a few rounds to get set up. This is so that you can get in your groups. During this time the Divers will also be roped up and sent on their way. For this we're going to need you guys to be a little speedy at first. Ideally, we will be putting up the Diving/Battling threads at NO LATER THAN 8:30 A.M. CST Thursday. They may go up earlier if we feel everyone is situated!
Several threads will go up then-- one for the Divers for which we will be putting our focus on (Divers, if you want to get started early since you don't have much coordinating to do let us know!).
The Digimon you will be fighting will also make their appearance! Please note it will take several hours after the Divers take their leave that the Digimon will appear. We will introduce these Digimon and explain the mechanics of their behavior, but wil not be playing them unless requested/necessary.
The Divers should all be pulled out by midnight on the 26th.

[ He was told there would probably be bees. Not Satan and his entire bowling team! He's kind of completely frozen up for a few moments and nearly gets himself killed by blast of energy. Luckily he was, as always, on wheels, so it was easy for Psychemon to shove himself out of the way. ]

[ And that would be his digimon climbing on his back. Technically they already agreed to this set up. Psychmon had stubby legs and wasn't very fast, Kazu was. In case shit got real they had agrred that Kazu would focus primarily on making sure to avoid shit trying to kill them, and it would be Psychemon's job to start blasting at the things trying to kill them. ]

[ Kazu couldn't say for sure if the technicolor electric was having any effect at all on the enemy. He was too busy frantically weaving and sliding between energy blasts in attempt to connect with his two teammates. ]

[Which is a lot, but even Kanji can see the obvious. Stuck here, with no Persona, a Digimon and only two guys with other little Digimon to fall back on, that's not a good place to be in.
But he's the guy with experience fighting huge, creepy-as-fuck monsters, he needs to be able to pull his own weight and do something. Not to mention there are people relying on him and his muscle for this mission, and not just his groupmates.
He's got to keep it together, so he takes a deep breath to get himself together and try and think of something. It's not his forte but he's got to.]

The ropes! [All six of them were on the battlefield, that means...] Kamemon, we need to get back over there! [Dodges a few blasts that suddenly come at him]
They're not gonna let us! What do we do?!

[Kamemon didn't need to be told twice, he ran back to the ropes, leaving the rest of the team to defend against the Devimon.]

[ Kazu isn't a big fan of fighting THAT dirty... but this fight is hardly very fair from the start. ]

Huh? [Sees an incoming blast] Duck!
[He jumped out of the way, using his ninja skill to instantly land on his feet. Once he had collected hismelf, he saw another blast... whoich past right by him. But he a;ready knew what direction it was heading.]
Oh no... [Gets up and runs forward] Kamemon, get down!

[Kamemon sees the incoming blast, and he has no time to run. He gasps and closes his eyes tightly... and then found something grab him. He heard a shriek of pain as whoever had him crashed hard onto the ground, using his body to shield the Turtle Digimon.
Kamemon opened his eyes, and he heard a hiss of pain. He looked at his savior, and gasped in horro.]
D-Donnie! A-are you okay?!
I-I... I'm fine Kamemon... [Hisses again] Okay, maybe not a lot...
Why... Wh-why did you?
C-come on... Y-you may annoy me, but... your still my partner. Sensei... sensei taught my brothers and me to look after each other, to look after our teammates. [Smiles] Your my partner, why wouldn't I save you? [Passes out.]

[No response, Kamemon looks at the ground at first, tears building up in his eyes. Even after annoying the former turtle, he still risked his life to save him. Kamemon had wanted to connect with him, he really had, but he was horrible at it. And now...
He looked at the Devimon, anger in his eyes. No one noticed Donnie's Digivice glowing.]

Kanji's closer though, so responsibility falls on him. And do it he fucking will, 'cause no one else can. (In his pocket, the Digivice shakes.)
He picks up a rock from the ground and tosses it at the Devimon to get its attention.]

[When its eyes are on him, he and Salamon get ready, even though this is just too much for a kid armed with just a chair and a puppy at his side. Even made crazier when he registers the Digivice vibrating in his pocket, because since when did inanimate objects start shaking without being turned on? And if that's it that's making a light through his clothes, what the hell is going on?
But the situation just gets downright nuts when Salamon disappears in a burst of bright light.]
Salamon digivolves... into Garurumon!
Holy shit--! [He has to admit it's pretty cool though.] Okay, sure... I can roll with that.
[No Persona, but a giant-ass blue dog-thing? Yeah, that's cool. He can do this.]

[Kamemon kept shooting his attack at the Devimon, not caring if they worked or not. Because of these Devimon, his partner was hurt! Donnie was apin, but no matter what, he'd protect him. He wouldn't let his partner down.]
You jerks aren't gonna get away with this! No one hurts my partner, you ehar me your dumb demon things?! Now back off!
[It was then that a bright light came out of Donnie's pocket, causing Kamemon to turn to the injured teenager. He looked at Donnie's pocket, and realization hit him.]
The Digivice... That means...
[He knew exactly what was about to happen, and he welcomed the bright light that caused him to vanish.]
Kamemon digivolve to... Gwappamon!!!
[Meanwhile, Donnie's brown eyes cracked open. He felt pain shoot through his entire body,t hat blast had gotten him good. Still, he turned his head slightly, and saw an unfamiliar Digimon before him.]

[ Kazu sighed. Vague as ever. But whatever. Giant wolf-thing and giant kappa-thing seemed like they were a good enough distraction for Devimon at the moment, so he was fine sliding round to where Donnie got knocked out. He was closer to the ropes anyways. ]

[ He was relieved to see that his ninja-friend was at least conscious. ]

[Or at least he hopes. He's taking up his chair again and marching off with Garurumon to meet the Devimon dead on with what's building up to be a really awesome fight.
