My Monster and Me...
Who: Leatherhead and Whomever
What: A gator's on the loose and no pizza place can hold him
Where: On the outskirts of the new town
When: Mid day
He didn't care for this new change. In fact, his first instinct was to hide. It had been so long since he went without this for and now...now it was back. And just like that all the old insecurities rose up. Would they accept him? Or did they only accept him on the merit of being human? And what's more, did this just mean they'd go back to casting him out or worse?
Well, don't worry. He'll reject himself you don't need to worry about that. The alligator had already abandoned Duke and Roadbuster. For a big guy he managed to give them the slip pretty well. Guess it was back to being on his own at least until this change went away.
The mutant liked it much better than in the city, really. A lot more grass, actually. And actual flowers. He liked those. The mutant could get used to this for awhile. Soon enough the mutant began wandering the area of the outskirts, enjoying the flowers of every hue and size. Yeah, if only Mikey could find him..

Oh hey, it spoke as soon as Leatherhead's tail touched it. And that voice is probably wonderfully familiar sounding too!
no subject
"It is you," he says with distaste in his mouth.
no subject
Well, Whirl transforms, it's a quick thing of metal shifting and shunting itself into all the right places. Hope Leatherhead doesn't mind looking up at a thirty some foot tall robot.
"Mornin' Killer."
no subject
"What are you doing here?"
no subject
"I was recharging," Simple answer really. "I don't actually fit inside any of the buildings here anymore."
A brief pause and then.
"You certainly look better now, Killer."
no subject
"You mean you do not find me a monster?"
He looks at Whirl, "...you do not look like the other ones. Wheeljack and Arcee."
no subject
So no, actually Whirl does not think Leatherhead is a monster. Humans are more weird and gross looking than a bipedal alligator.
The comment about not looking like Wheeljack or Arcee gets a huffy venting from Whirl, as he clacks his claws together.
"Course not, we're not from the same Cybertron."
no subject
Which is a big consignment on Leatherhead's part. Look at you Whirl, being right for once. Wow.
"...do all the ones from your world look like you?" it's an innocent question.
no subject
"No, I'd frikking feel sorry for 'em all if they did." Because laughing at horrible trauma that's been inflicted to you is totally normal, Whirl.
no subject
"...why is that?"
no subject
As in the lamp-head and claws aren't normal, Leatherhead.

"I guess you could say it's that. I'd use the word 'mutilated' though, fits better."
no subject
"...mutilated sounds the same..."
What the hell happened to you, Whirl.
no subject
Really, that's all Whirl has to say on the subject. So even if asked about it Leatherhead probably won't get much of a straight answer out of the Autobot.

no subject
Yeah he heard you, Leatherhead. And he doesn't quite get why that needed to be said.

Because seriously it is. Did Leatherhead think the other Cybertronians would be small too?
no subject
"I do not care what you feel about it...it is what I thought."
no subject
And Whirl is hunkering down again, if he wasn't a giant robot he'd look like a big dorky bird with how he's settling himself.
"If you're going to be a pest you can go now."
