A calm had swept over Terminal Tokyo, as the Chosen Children had successfully repel the Beemon attack and began to clean up their city. All was well and life would go on, though some scars would take a while to heal. But as the saying goes, there is no rest for the weary.

Another earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners...

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

[The moment that Leatherhead shwed a sign of anger, Donnie made sure that he was firmly in-between Fluttershy and the former mutant. Even if it meant being grabbed by the face again, he wouldn't let LH hurt Fluttershy.]

He doesn't like physical contact from strangers, he's... had a bad experience.

How the heck do you know this guy anyways?!

My brother Mikey helped him against some... enemies of ours.

What? The Foot Clan? That Stckman guy? Ooh, I know! The Kraang, right!

[Oh crud] Kamemon, no! [Gulps and raises staff] Flutterhsy, you need to run! Now!

Oh NOW you did it! OUT OF THE WAY

[Initiating Kamemon shield now.

Meanwhile Leatherhead's eyes glaze over a furious milky white. Baring his teeth, he shouts to the sky.]

KRAANG!

[And who's head gets grabbed? None other than Donnie's!]

[She gasps, but those she uses her wings to lift into the air a little, she doesn't leave.]

Stop it...!

[Here we go again...]

AGAIN?! REALLY?! [Thrashes around to get loose]

HEY! Your not using me as a... oh, partner in mortal danger. Gotta go save him!

[Kamemon charges forward, grabs Leatherhead's leg, and tries to lift him... and fail. He resorts to biting.

Donnie's inner thoughts? "I'm dooned..."]

[Now Leatherhead alternates between thrashing the Donnie doll around and kicking at the attacking digimon.

Impmon just backs away, watching the carnage happen again.]

...ok...never mention the k word again.

[She watches, horrified for a moment. But then her expression changes.]

Stop that! Stop that right now!

[She does not like seeing her friends get hurt.]

THAT'S NOT GONNA WORK! [Still thrashing]

I know! I'll digivolve and beat him up! That should beat him! Hmm... Now how do you Digivolve again? Hmm... [Sits[ Lets see here...

KAMEMON!!!

Will you quit yelling and thrashing? Your gonna worsen your injuries. Lets see... Digivolving... Hmm...

Yeah, you might wanna hurry up before my guy turns your guy into turtle soup.

[Leatherhead continues shaking Donnie like a rag doll. It was a good way to release tension.]

He's still injured...! Stop...!

Okay, ugh... here it goes.

[Kamemon focused, and soon the familiar light made him vanish. Looks like he got it.]

Kamemon digivolve to... Gwappamon!

[And since Grappamon was now much larger than Leatherhead, he threw his fist out and punched LH into a wall, but not before grabbing Donnie.]

See? I saved you! Told you that you should just leave it all to me!

[Rubs head] Don;t, Ever. Say. The k word. Again. EVER!

Leave it to you to screw it up, you mean...

[Leatherhead gets thrown against the wall, the pain snapping him out of his rage. He groans standing up again.]

What...did it happen again?

[She glances between Donnie and Leatherhead, uncertain.

What just happened?]

A-are...are you all right...?

[A general question, which could be directed at either one...because honestly, she's not sure who she was more concerned over.]

Yea, you did it again! Why must you always grab my face?! Is it that bad?!

Well...

[Glares at Gwappamon before talking a deep breath and turning to Fluttershy]

Yeah, I.. I'm alright. I guess I should explain what's going on. Leatherhead... is from my world and my little brother's friend. We saved him from... some bad guys a while ago.

I should have mentioned...sometimes I lose control..

[He nods apologetically at both Donnie and Flutershy.]

I am grateful for your help, I am.

[She nods in sympathy; while not quite to that degree, she does know what it's like to lose control.]

You sure you're okay though?

[This time she's talking right to Leatherhead.]

Oh he'll be fine... as long as somebody doesn't say the k word again!

Yeah, blame me for everything. Now... [Glares at Impmon and lifts up his large foot] What was with you shoving me in front of the big guy?

[He rubs at his head again, this human thing is hard getting used to.]

I think so...for now...I am really sorry.

[Impmon just shrugs. What's your problem.]
