A calm had swept over Terminal Tokyo, as the Chosen Children had successfully repel the Beemon attack and began to clean up their city. All was well and life would go on, though some scars would take a while to heal. But as the saying goes, there is no rest for the weary.

Another earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners...

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

[Upon seeing her discomfort, Cam hastily tries to console her.] No-- no, of course not, it goes away after a few hours-- and, uh, I mean, some probably don't even realize that's...what it was, is, for, you know. Mostly if you were d-dead, or injured, or...yeah.

[Breathe, kid.]

It's...something to do with...I dunno. Recollecting...data, I think. That's what someone said.

So it's putting us back together?

[Well... that makes sense, then. And... Hakuno can't really continue her train of thought, when she notices the poor guy faltering and stuttering.]

Hey... if you're worrying that you offended or upset me, don't worry about it, okay? [And the smile comes back.] You didn't say anything wrong. You helped me out a lot, actually.

[Her reassurance does help. Cam gives an awkward smile.] I didn't mean to pry, just... This is the first big...bunch of people, since I got here, and I didn't have time to...talk to anyone else, while it was going on. [He gestures to the static around her, or at least he tries to.] Just, after.

[What he's trying to say is, he's glad he helped, since it was so terrifying for him.]

Like I said, don't worry about it. I don't really have much to hide, so pry away! [She laughs.] And I don't blame you for not having much time to talk to other people.... it's a bit overwhelming, isn't it? [her gaze turns to their surroundings, slowly taking in the unfamiliar buildings.]

I saw some pretty strange things back home, but this still takes the cake.

Tell me about it. It's...completely different from anything I'm used to. [His gaze lingers a little on the static, but he starts making a conscious effort to look elsewhere.] Um, I'm Cam. And this is Lucette. [His Lucemon, who's been quietly observing, and now bows at her mention.]

Nice to meet you, Cam. My name is Hakuno. [She smiles. If him staring at the static bothers her, it certainly doesn't show one bit.] And this- [She turns to her own Lucemon, who has also been silent up until now, and who smiles and waves in greeting.] is... well. Lucemon.

[A curious look crosses her face.] Are we supposed to give them nicknames?

No, we don't have to. I mean... My roommate did, and she [he points at Lucette] really liked it, so... He sorta started a trend.

I like mine very much!

Seems like a good idea. Are there a lot of people here with the same type of digimon?

[She looks to her own Lucemon, who merely shrugs.] If there are no other Lucemon around, that means I can take my time thinking of a name...

Rise's got one. She's...only other person I've seen. [He small laugh.] But she usually calls 'im Lucy.

[A tiny pause, he feels like, sort of, he has to...] ...I really wasn't trying to...stare, or make you uncomfortable. It's just, when I showed up here, I sorta... I had the...glitch, too, so...

[He remembers how scary it was, how much he wondered if it'd go away, how much he hated it, there for all to see.]

[Lucy, Lucette... seems there's a trend going with the naming. Should she follow it or not...?

What Cam says next breaks her away from that train of thought, though, and she frowns slightly.] .... Oh. [Now it's her turn to feel a bit awkward.]

I should be apologizing as well, in case I made you uncomfortable. I mean, I was... okay... with everything that happened. But I know that's not the case for everyone.

What? No, no, it's... It's good I'm, not. [Okay with it. Because he was before, or at least he thought he was.] I'm alive here, so... [It's weird; he hasn't told most of his friends about it yet.] ...Sorry, hi, I'm Cam, I was dead too but now I'm not. How're you doing?

[Always smooth, Cam.]

[... And at that, she can't help but laugh. What a way to switch subjects, huh.]

It's nice to meet you, Cam. You can call me Hakuno. [She smiles, reaching a hand out to shake.] And, well... I guess I'm doing okay, all things considered. I could be feeling a lot worse, I guess.

[Re-introductions are nice, after such an awkward conversation. Cam shakes her hand.] Good. It's...rough, first few days. You'll get used to it, though. 'nd there're a lot of good people, to help out.
