New Arrivals: Let's Have Some Fun

What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!

A calm had swept over Terminal Tokyo, as the Chosen Children had successfully repel the Beemon attack and began to clean up their city. All was well and life would go on, though some scars would take a while to heal. But as the saying goes, there is no rest for the weary.

Another earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners...

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

Well... I guess I can't really call it a digital world. It wasn't big enough for that... and it was really just inside of a big supercomputer. But that's close enough, right?

Sounds like it to me. Was it anything like this?

[She shakes her head.] No, not even close. Like I said, it was a lot smaller... just a school and a church. [And an arena filled with digital monsters but that's not something she wants to get into right now.]

And you could just... tell everything was artificial back there. The sky looked more like a blanket of zeroes and ones than a real sky. Here, you could easily believe that this is a real place instead of a digital one.

[See, that sounds more like what Shepard thinks when she hears 'digital world'. But, hey, it also sounds less advanced, so...]

Maybe this is the next version?

That makes it seem like this place and the Moon Cell were connected somehow...

[The pensive look on her face turns into something more... upsetting. She quickly shakes her head, a flash of static rippling across her frame as she does so.]

No way. This place... if it was an updated version, it'd be a lot less... seemingly happy. We would be fighting each other, not uniting against some mysterious threat. [She turns to glance at Lucemon.] And our partners would be different.

[She frowns.]

We've had one fight between chosen already. But I doubt that's what you're talking about.

Probably not. The whole point of fighting back there was to defeat each other. [To kill each other, but she'd rather not sort of admit that she's a murderer.]

Occasional scuffles are a lot different than what boils down to a fighting tournament, right?
