New Arrivals: Let's Have Some Fun

What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!

A calm had swept over Terminal Tokyo, as the Chosen Children had successfully repel the Beemon attack and began to clean up their city. All was well and life would go on, though some scars would take a while to heal. But as the saying goes, there is no rest for the weary.

Another earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners...

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

[Impmon notices the Gulimon. Man, that sure was a special-looking digimon, remind him to make fun of him later.

But for now, the big guy's on a rampage. As of now he's just gonna stand by the bigger digimon. He's a good decoy, at least.]

Because his parents didn't love him? I don't know! You want a master, right? Well he's yours now!

[guilmon]

But Guilmon already has a Tamer! He's just not here right now...

[He pouts. Takato is the only Tamer for Guilmon. Still, this isn't good.

Maybe he should try shouting to the angry person instead. Just let him clear his throat first.]

Heeeey! You should be careful where you're going or you might hurt somebody!

[bigsoftie]

And you can have two--JUST GET HIM AWAY

[Leatherhead just growls at the lizard before deciding to face the digimon. Obviously it was someone else out to get him.

Obviously. The human rushes Gulimon, seeking to tackle the digimon. Impmon shouts, leaping to the side.]

[guilmon]

[He gasps, throwing himself to the side. He then proceeds to flail his arms and shout again.]

Wah, calm down! Guilmon doesn't want to fight you!

[bigsoftie]

[It'll take more than shouting to make Leatherhead snap out of it. The former alligator swings his fists again, letting his lugs shout aloud.


...meanwhile Impmon watches the battle unfold. He likes entertainment, what can he say?]

[guilmon]

[Aaand Guilmon goes flying! Who knew a human could hit so hard?

Groaning, he pushes himself back to his feet and assumes a defensive stance.]

Digimon shouldn't have to fight humans, but if you don't stop, I may have to!

[Which might make things worse. He's not entirely sure, really.]

[bigsoftie]

I ain't stopping you!

[Gonna watch this from a safe distance.

Leatherhead just lacks common sense at this point...his mental state has made it hard to exactly differentiate between friend or foe. With another cry, he charges to attack the digimon again.]

[guilmon]

[Oh, this is so frustrating! With a soft growl, Guilmon charges forward. If reason won't work then maybe a light...]

Rock Breaker!

[Will do the trick. Just a bap on the face, really!]

[bigsoftie]

[That did the trick. Leatherhead just stands in shock as the rock beans him on the head, causing his face to contort in an expression of confusion and pain.

But at least the whites of his eyes are retreating. He rubs at his face, still processing where he was.]

...what--what happened?

[He remembered what he was told on arrival...the rampage...not so much. Impmon is having none of this shit.]

Other than going completely bonkers? Not much.

[guilmon]

You were running around all angry and hit Guilmon really hard...

[He rubs at his head.]

But Guilmon's had that happen before. How come you were so mad?

Oh no...

[He feels so ashamed. How could he lose control so fast?]

I am sorry, little one. There are times I cannot control myself...

That's an understatement.

[He kneels before Gulimon.]

How can I make it up to you?

[guilmon]

[Guilmon tilts his head, letting out a soft grunt.]

Aww, you don't have to make it up! Guilmon understands. I used to get like that a lot whenever a new Digimon showed up!

[bigsoftie]

[He perks up, looking at the digimon with wide-eyed curiosity?]

You do too?

Please don't encourage him.

[guilmon]

[Oh, Impmon. No need to be so grumpy about it! Guilmon nods, though.]

All the time! Guilmon would smell the Digimon and then start running after them to fight and sometimes I got in big trouble. Takato had to chase after me, too, and I think he got really worried...

I don't think getting all angry makes you bad, though! If Guilmon can control it, maybe you can do it to. It just takes lots of practice!

[Impmon thinks he has a prerogative to feel how he wants.]

I think you need some pills...
