A New Frontier
Who: Everyone! (Only New Arrivals are allowed in the Waiting Room)
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
Where: HospiTown, Waiting Room or all over town
When: Starting February 3th, 2014
An earthquake shakes the world. Specifically, it shakes the continent of Folder the most, with the little HospiTown experiencing the worst part of it. Soon, however, it is over, and there's not many there to complain about it anyway. A few Digimon natives...and of course, Digimon partners, awaiting their Chosen.
However this time the town was prepared, as a banner hung from the Hospital. WELCOME NEW CHOSEN.

Re: All over town
Strolling casually toward the banner a lanky green boy with pointy ears gave a wave. Trotting at his side was a blue dog... Or was it a wolf? Waddling on the other side was a lizard creature wearing a brightly colored pelt.
"Hey there! Hi" the boy tried greeting again with a bright smile. "New in town?"
no subject
Putting his hands down he smiled again "it's not much but it's home for now, and you're welcome to it."
"Welcome home." Both the smaller monsters chimed in behind him.
no subject
"So if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. I'm Beastboy, this is Rita and Chili." He pointed to the lizard and the dogthing respectively.

For the fist time since they've arrived at HospiTown, however, it looks like new Chosen are showing up throughout it, from the confused and unfamiliar faces. Oe especially catches her eye, the small one, with ears much like her own.
A soft tap of her tongue against the roof of her mouth; Hollyleaf's sense of smell isn't near as good as it was once, but something... Something about this kit doesn't seem cat.
Regardless, always help a kit in need. That's the rules.
"Little kit? Are you lost?"
Her own bushy tail sways back and forth; she hopes the scars on her face won't scar him off.
no subject
Little kit? That was new, everyone always called him "pup" or "puppy," then again he wasn't fully in that form anymore.
"A little."

"I wanted to know where I was."
Since this wasn't the Celestial Plain or Nippon.

"Didn't your partner explain it? Or...didn't you listen to the welcome? This is HospiTown, in... I suppose it's the Digital World, except sort of not."

Anywhere between the terminal and the hospital. AKA, just around. X3
"Of... course I am! I'm... your partner!" Terriermon paused, trying to catch his breath. He had to run to keep up with his Chosen's much longer stride and it was wearing him out.
"I don't have a partner," Axel said. "And if I did, it wouldn't be a fuzzy, mint-green moogle-rabbit.... thing." Axel really wasn't sure what to call the creature. It was about the right size and body shape for a moogle, but with huge floppy ears like a rabbit; beyond that, it was just weird.
"I told ya! I'm not a thing, I'm a Digimon!", he said. "And we're supposed to work together to-"
"Help fix the Digital world," Axel finished. "I know; I got it memorized. But unless you've got any brilliant ideas on that front, shorty, I'm afraid you're out of luck. I'm not exactly the world-saving type. Really, ask anybody."
"We're not supposed to do it alone, ya know," he said. "There's lotsa other Digimon and Chosen around. We'll have aaaall of their help too!" He spread his ears out wide to illustrate just how much help the other Chosen would be... if he could actually get his Chosen over to the hospital to meet them, that was.
"Right...", Axel replied with a disbelieving shake of his head. Whatever the little creature had in mind, Axel was pretty sure it wouldn't get too far. But that didn't change that he was stranded in a strange world, tired, hungry, and lacking powers. Finding a place to get some food and sleep sounded like a good plan for the present.
"Anyway," Axel asked, "you said there was a place to stay around here?"
Wow, that was easier than Terriermon had thought it would be! "Sure is! Just follow me!" He took up the lead steering his Chosen toward the hospital.
"Lead on, my flop-eared friend," Axel said with a sigh, gesturing tiredly ahead with one of the Eternal Flames before following the creature. The chakrams got surprisingly heavy when you had to carry them around in your hands constantly. He made a mental note find some rope or something to rig up some kind of carrying harness. But food and sleep first. He wasn't sure he was up to anything more complicated.
outside the café B]
Wait a sec, he knows that voice. Upon hearing Axel approach, the Replica freezes. His shoulders hunch, his spine curves forward, and he slams his fist against the frame of the café door.
Naturally, his trusty Kotemon toddles closer to him and tugs at his pant leg.]
Aiden, are you okay?
I'm fine.
[An obvious lie, judging by the razor sharp edge of his voice. Grinding his teeth, he pushes away from the café, glaring daggers at the approaching Nobody and Digimon duo. His Gabumon watches with a grin plastered to his face as usual and cracks his knuckles. Oh, this should be good...]
Well, look what the cat dragged on...
Re: outside the café B]
When he does catch sight of him, though, his eyes widen a bit in surprise. Riku? No, Riku would look older by now. So... the Replica, then. Well, that was interesting...]
Huh... never thought I'd see you again. Looking pretty sprightly, there, for a dead guy.
[The same can be said of him, of course, but he's not about to tell the Replica that.]
You know this guy, Axel?
You could say that, yeah...
no subject
[Gabumon puffs out his chest, bares his fangs, and flexes rubs his hands together.]
The wise guy who murdered my partner. Hah, some nerve of you to show your face around here.
Hey! [Kotemon whacks him on the head with her sword before peering up at Axel.]
Um, sorry about him, sir. We're still put him through obedience training, and--
Don't apologize to him.
[The Replcia sneers, slapping his hands down on his hips.]
He doesn't deserve it.
no subject
Hey now, you can't pin your friend's death on me. I might've given him nudge in the right direction, but the whole 'fighting his original to the death' thing was all his idea, last I checked.
Not to mention, showing up here wasn't exactly my idea either...
[Axel gave a small, tired sigh at the sneering Replica, though.]
Can't say I disagree with you on that point, though. I haven't done that much to have earned an apology from anyone...
[In fact, he's realizing that he owes more that a few himself. Probably including one to the Replica in front of him too, if he was being honest. He decides to wait and see what exactly the silver-haired boy wants with him first, though, other than to sneer at him..]
no subject
[He scoffs, throwing his head back. Maybe it's a touch selfish and shortsighted of him, but he's not ready to accept that Axel might've changed. It's easier to pin the blame on another than to accept the full responsibility.]
And the fact is, you used me. If you hadn't nudged me towards Zexion, I might've lived. I would've been lost, but I--
It won't change anything.
[His Kotemon shakes her head, flapping one of her sleeves.]
What happened sounds really sad, but I don't think yelling at him's going to help anyone, especially when it's not his fault that he's here, Aiden. Besides, it doesn't sound like he's here to cause trouble...
no subject
Yeah, well, he's Sora, isn't he?
[Which ought to sum it up for anyone who's actually spent time with Sora. Kid was too nice for his own good, sometimes.]
Yeah, I used you. I used just about everybody in that Castle at one point or another. Can't say I'm exactly proud of it, but not like I can change it now. [Axel shrugs.]
And the little lady in the umpire mask is fight. All I'm looking for at the moment is a place to get some food and a bed; been a long few days on my end...
[Terriermon, for his part, is just watching the whole exchange, not really sure if he should be defending his Chosen in this instance or not. The conversation doesn't seem to to involve him anyway, so he keeps quiet for now, hanging back and keeping watch, just in case one of the other digimon tried something. That Gabumon did seem kind of shifty...]

Didn't even know we had an Axel until just now!! HI
[intellectually, Roxas knows that they're going to be useless here. but he also doesn't even slightly care. it's important to him that he have them. and he's perfectly oblivious to anyone else who might be in the vicinity, other than Phascomon, tucked into the hood of his Organization coat snugly and half-dozing]
Thank you. [slightly more muted, and he leans against the counter]
Hi! Hope you're ready for some Nobody brain-break and feels. XD
However, he only manages to get a few steps inside before a very familiar voice captures his attention, and draws it sharply in the direction of the boy leaning against the counter. Axel's eyes went wide and he almost dropped his chakrams in shock. It couldn't be. But it was.]
...Roxas?
[And sorry, that's all you get, Roxas, until Axel's brain has a moment to reboot.]
I live for it!
[Axel, definitely, unmistakably Axel. and for a moment there's something tight and complicated welling up in him, a not unfamiliar tangle of some sensation -- the way he felt the last time, when Axel disappeared for weeks after everyone at Castle Oblivion was erased, and then just turned up out of nowhere one day. there are so many here who think they know him and no one that he knows, and it makes him all the more nostalgic for things he can't have back]
[but that tangle of feeling isn't entirely pleasant this time, something ugly making him harden. because -- he can't have them back. so Roxas just shifts, standing a little straighter, ignoring a startled-awake Phascomon slowly righting himself in his hood]
Axel. [it's studiedly neutral] --You're here too.
Zero to awkward in five seconds. X3
The moment passes quickly, though and Roxas straightens, expression hardening a bit. And after another moment, Axel straightens up too, regaining his grip on his chakrams.]
Yeah... Just got here. [Awkward pause.] So, uh... you been here long?
[Smooth as ever, Axel.]
Like magic!
Two days. [so, it's effectively doubled the time since he last saw Axel in the alley in the Dark City. it's not helping his mood that his big show of defiance -- right though he may have been -- feels stupid to him now on a couple of levels] [which prompts him to remind them both coolly] But I found someone to answer my questions, so it's been okay so far.
[he doesn't want to fight with Axel. but even worlds removed from the urgency that drove him to leave the Organization... he can't just make a year's worth of lies go away]
