A New Frontier

Where: HospiTown, Waiting Room or all over town

An earthquake shakes the world. Specifically, it shakes the continent of Folder the most, with the little HospiTown experiencing the worst part of it. Soon, however, it is over, and there's not many there to complain about it anyway. A few Digimon natives...and of course, Digimon partners, awaiting their Chosen.

However this time the town was prepared, as a banner hung from the Hospital. WELCOME NEW CHOSEN.

"Hospitown!" He declared throwing his arms wide to gesture to the few buildings on display. "A sleepy little pit stop here in The Digital World."

Putting his hands down he smiled again "it's not much but it's home for now, and you're welcome to it."

"Welcome home." Both the smaller monsters chimed in behind him.

"No problem dude! We like to be like...welcoming party to any newbies we see right?" When he grinned just right his ears wiggled excitedly.

"So if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. I'm Beastboy, this is Rita and Chili." He pointed to the lizard and the dogthing respectively.

"Nice to meetcha Chibiteraz...Chibiterets...Chibiturrets..." Beastboy fumbled the word a few times before settling. "Nice to meet ya Chibi!"

Rita sighed and put a palm over her face while Chili pointedly looked away, embarrassed for her Chosen. Beastboy didn't let that stop him though.

"I am digging those ears!" He wiggled his own ears playfully. "What were you back home?"

"Really? Dude sweet!" He laughed amused with the idea, but he just couldn't take his eyes off those ears.

"Like what kinda god? Wolf god? Harvest god? Moon god?" Random guesses save for the speculation about wolf god. Beastboy was not an expert on many things but if there was one thing he knew it was animals.

"Duuuude! That is so cool! I love the sun! It's how I know it's time to go to bed after a long night of video games!"

Laughing at himself because haha, what is responsibility.

"So what do sun gods do?" Beastboy could guess but give how young the kid sounded he figured he'd just let them handle it...possibly for the lulz.

"Right on dude!" Beastboy gave the god turned boy a thumbs up. "That is exactly the kind of good heroic types we need around here!"

Not that they had a shortage of heroes really.

"That's exactly what we're here to do. Fight off bad dudes and help people!"

"And try to restore all of the worlds to their proper place." Rita reminded him helpfully.

Beastboy could tell he was losing his audience. But that was OK because whenever meeting new chosen he was always prepared with two of his favorite conversation starters.

"So how's that new human body treating you? Got the walking thing down? Is it different from being a god?"

Nailed it.

"Hey it's worked for us for however many years." He joked before producing his welcoming gift.

"So just how much human food have you had before?"

In his hand he he held a full sized chocolate bar.

"Excellent!" He unwrapped the bar. "Some non-humans don't care for human food once they change. But some go crazy about the stuff! Have you ever tried chocolate before?"

He'd hoped not because even a god wolf might have had trouble digesting chocolate if they were anything like regular canines.

He held it out to Chibiterasu in offering.

"Go on then! My treat as a "Welcome to the Digital world" gift!"

Not to mention a cheap and easy way to win people's affections.

"Yeah!" Beastboy was beyond pleased. A few of the last chosen he'd introduced to chocolate hadn't enjoyed it as much but he knew that sooner or later he'd find another chosen blown away by the experience.

"Just make sure when you go back to being a canine you don't eat it or it'll get you sick. But here you can have as much as you like!"
