play, play, play! (april 2013-- game start!)
Characters: EVERYONE!
When: 4 March 2013
Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
The Digital World had been having a great deal of earthquakes the last six months. The first was the largest of them and had ended in the shifting of the planes. Since then earthquakes happened periodically, often sending new Chosen Children with it. At first it was Chosen that the Digital World knew and rejoiced, but now and then it would send new Chosen.
Today was different, however. The earthquake that rattled the Digital World felt almost as bad as the first, but there was a difference this time. Suddenly dozens of children were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling and so were their partners...
Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

Outside the Terminal
He was carrying DemiDevimon - who, seeming to respond to his partner's weakened state, had decided to take a nap. Mondo wasn't entirely sure he should be carrying the digimon around, because ever since Monobear he's been just a little bit wary of any small cute talking creatures, but so far nothing here has exploded or threatened to kill anything else.
So for now, he'd just go with it, because at this point pretty much anything was better than being stuck in Hope's Peak.]
Re: Outside the Terminal
[Shit]
[Talk about faces one didn't expect to see. She has to do a double-take before she confirms that yes, that ridiculous hair style belongs to someone she knows]
O. . . Oowada-kun?
[The voice may be familiar, and it comes from a nearby bench, where Kyouko is sitting, D-Terminal in her lap. Her entire body is frozen in place in surprise]
[ALSO THERE'S A DOG SITTING AT HER FEET but surely you don't care about dogs do you Oowada!1]
no subject
...Kyouko? Is that you?
[As if anyone else who looked exactly like that knew who he was. But he was still convinced that this was some sort of strange afterlife, so he wasn't expecting to see anyone who - as far as he knew - was still alive.]
...And a...dog? [Damn right he cares about dogs, dogs are the best.]
no subject
Oh! You know each other? Are you friends? I'm glad Kyouko has friends! She's kind of a stick in the mud.
[The Digimon glances over at her trainer expectantly. Kyouko clears her throat, wiping all evidence of surprise from her expression]
Labramon. My. . . partner, I suppose. [A beat] . . . I didn't expect to see you here, Oowada-kun.
no subject
Actually, it's still pretty great.]
...We're, uh. Classmates.
[Because he wasn't sure that anyone wanted to be known as the friend of an executed culprit. He looks back up at Kyouko.]
Are you...y'know. [There's no way to ask this question that isn't really awkward, wow.] ...Still alive?
no subject
[Never one to sugarcoat things, Kyouko replies quickly, and honestly]
Naegi-kun, Togami-kun, Fukawa-san, Asahina-san, Hagakure-kun and I all made it out. Alive.
[Meanwhile, as if she senses Mondo's awkwardness, Labramon pads forward a bit and nudges her nose against the gang leader's shin. Then she tilts her head back and cocks her head to the side, eyes wide and questioning. Are you sad? If you're sad you can pet me :c]
no subject
[He reaches down to pat Labramon on the head. He can hold DemiDevimon with one arm anyways, and really that dog is adorable.
...But there's one think Kyouko said that was just a little upsetting. Or rather, something she didn't say.]
You...didn't mention Ishimaru.
no subject
. . .
Ishimaru-kun was killed by Hifumi-kun, who in turn was killed by Celes-san. That was the subject of the third trial.
[She heaved a heavy sigh]
There's much to catch you up on, concerning the fates of our classmates, Monobear, and Hope's Peak Academy in general. Perhaps we should take this conversation somewhere more private.
no subject
[...And then he realizes that she just said he was killed by Celes. Well, finding out that the person he considered a brother was murdered wasn't exactly conductive to thinking clearly. He sighs.]
...Okay. More private sounds good.

[ What a rude way to greet someone. Rin's more interested in his person, but it's hard to see whenever there's a STUPID FAT DIGIMON in the way. ]
Huh, is that a glitch? [ Mondo, guess what? Rin's leaning in with her hands to try to touch at one of the spots without even asking if that's cool. ]
no subject
What! Glitch?
[He hadn't really noticed it before, but looking at it now - wow, that's just a little concerning.]
...I dunno what it is. And I yeah I'm carrying it, it's not like he's all that heavy or anything. I could carry fifty.
no subject
[ That's the best way to describe it, so she'll stick with it. Don't worry, she has no sense of personal space so she'll be making an attempt to grab at that chest once more.
Rin Tousaka fears no man. ]
Yeah, you can carry fifty of them? I'd like to see that sometime so I'll keep it in mind.
no subject
It's nothing! I just...died, I guess. Kind of badly.
And I could carry fifty easily, so yeah, keep it in mind.
no subject
Huh, you died? Then what are you doing alive--huh, maybe this place is more like the Moon Cell than I thought.

[ Surprisingly it's a yes despite how upset she gets over the thought of it. ]
This is strange though. The dead shouldn't come back to life, but here you are. Are we just digital simulations then?
no subject
I guess we could be. I'm not very good with computers so I dunno how to tell.

Chihiro couldn't help but want to run away a little. That was because he was weak, wasn't it? Like a rabbit. All rabbits do is run away, scurry back to their holes.. and it is because they are weak. The stronger foxes will always catch them eventually. He might as well not run away, then. He had only a fuzzy memory of what had happened to him, but he couldn't help but feel like it was his own fault.. that Mondo was angry with him.
He had to apologize for that, right? ]
A—Ah.. Oowada-kun..
no subject
[Well, of course, if he could be here, Chihiro could be, too. Part of him was glad the kid was here as it could be considered a 'better place'...but another part of him was terrified of owning up to what he'd done to the person he killed, even though he'd never admit to being afraid of anything.]
I'm - ['Sorry' is the word he wants to say, but somehow it just doesn't feel like enough. Mondo was the type who preferred actions to words, and right now words alone were failing him. He just looked down in shame.]
no subject
I—I'm sorry, Oowada-kun..! You must be here because.. of what happened.. I shouldn't have told you my secret..
no subject
[Which sounded a lot more hostile than he intended. Mostly because he's pretty angry at himself right now.]
I mean - it's my fault! Not yours!
no subject
[ he retracts a little at the yelling. ]
no subject
[He takes a deep breath and quiets down a bit.]
...I have to accept my blame and earn my forgiveness, alright? It's...just a thing. [Part of the STRONG AND MANLY CODE OF HONOR]
no subject
[ Chihiro's a bit pressed for words; he still thinks it was probably his fault, but he doesn't want to upset Mondo further by saying otherwise. ]
So you aren't mad with me..?
no subject
I just didn't really think any of you guys would actually look up to me at all. But when I got a chance to think about it, you're not the type of person who would say something like that just to insult me...
