Black Gear Panic attack!

The day stated simply enough.  Peaceful and sunny.  Until a quake happened, one that originated on Infinity Mountain.  And with the quake a serious of explosions were heard, by those closest to the buildings on that Mountain.

However no one was prepared for what happened next.  A swarm of blackness flew from the temple and covered the sky of the Digital Island before raining down on it. 

Many that called this place home knew what this meant.  Someone or something has reawaken the Black Gears, long thought to be destroyed, and the inhabitants of the island were to soon find themselves under it influence again.

File Island was under attack.

He shook his big round head.

"You didn't over do it...I'm so sorry for attacking you." He hauled himself out of the crater and sat on the street trying to collect himself.

"Would you believe that's the third time I've taken a black gear to the back? I'm just lucky I have a zipper there."

Kiyomi landed behind Saori and Guren. "Th-third time?!" The three of them looked at Monzaemon rather shocked.

"Well, I'm just glad we got it out of you. Let us help you get this place back to normal as a way to make up for our attack." She took a look around. It was a shame she didn't have a good look when they first arrived. "A town made of toys...My kids would've loved this place if they were here."

"It sure doesn't feel any better the third time I'll say that." He twisted an arm around to do up his zipper once more.

"If your kids ever do show up, be sure to bring them by. I'll give you all the royal treatment. Here in toy town the young and young at heart are always welcome!"

She gave him a polite smile. "Yes, I will. Maybe I should come back to File Island now and then in case you guys have more trouble with those black gears."

As much as she would love to see her children again, she wasn't sure the Digital World was ready for 5 year old deities and vice versa. Their poor partners will never escape them ever.

"Well you're welcome back here any time. Anyone who can keep me in check when things go wrong is a friend to Toy Town!" He declares and at that several of the toys that live there cheer from their hiding places in houses and behind larger blocks and pillows. Puppets, dolls, animated toy cars and little planes all rush out to greet the heroes.
